Majohn T5 Fountain Pen: Smooth Writing Experience and Elegant Design

Can $25 buy you a nice writing fountain pen? I believe the Majohn T5 fountain pen is a great value, and will be a nice pen to have in your collection.

Great review and a nice looking pen. I like a wet writing pen, so this may not be the pen for me. I do like the purple resin. That purple ink is majestic, as the name implies. That capping issue is really strange.

Someone commented that I may have received old stock, and that the issue seems to have been resolved, as they bought a few and have no problems with them.

It seems like your t5 is an early model.
I have 5 of them. 1 I bought when they just released. It had the cap issue resistance issue while the rest does not.
However, the biggest flaw in this pen imo, is the silver band and the cap connects. Where if you blow air into the cap, air leaks where the silver band and cap meets, essentially causing nibs to dry out when unsued for more than 2 weeks.
I love the design and the shape of it, but yeah, that is a design flaw to me.
