Why is this family speaking so casually and smiling during this interview about the tragic loss of their son? Not even one tear shed. Is it just me? ......

If you look closer they have been crying and its a forced smile but u can see the pain and sadness in their eyes

It must be nice to not have debilitating mental pain. You get to just sit back and make face judgements on those 🙄

Yeah you shouldn't be studying people who are in pain. Leave that to medical professionals.

As his brother, I have the right to stand up for my family. All the pictures shown of us smiling together were taken before he passed. During the interview I can say that we are a relatively private family and aren’t on the news often if ever before. So no we weren’t being insensitive, just uncomfortable and didn’t know how to react to the tragedy. For those of you sending condolences, you are appreciated. ❤

Lost my chronically mentally ill big brother at age 38 after a 20+ battle.
People don’t understand what it’s like to see a loved one so ill for so long and to then lose them when you’ve anticipated something tragic like this happening for years. For me, despite the terrible way he passed, the news did not come as a shock in any way. We had been grieving him and seeing him become less and less himself for many years and it felt like his death just allowed other people to feel the shock, grief and horror of it.
These people judging have no idea what they’re talking about. I commend your family for speaking out - that is a an incredible act of love: being his voice now and sharing the truth about his suffering.
I hope you have support in the months and years ahead. My grief really reared its ahead at about 6 months after his death.

Do you want to see them crying and screaming? Your comment tells us how spoiled and fortunate you must have been so far 😂

Have you ever taken psychology? There are 5 stages of grief; denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Look them up, and they don’t need to be in any particular order.

Condolences to his loved ones. I appreciate the family being open and vulnerable in discussing Kyler's mental health struggles. Manic episodes can be so dangerous.

And not one report explain how was he profiled, and got held up for 4 hours? What were they doing to him? And finally blame a poor man due to mental issues that cost his life. Is the airport or official siding or hiding the so called security actions?

Gausah judging disini, orangnya udah gaada. Kurang etis.
Kalo ada keluarga anda meninggal anda juga paling bilangnya "semoga diterima disisiNya" "dia orang baik". Anda ga mungkin bilang "moga moga aja masuk surga, walaupun dia orangnya ga baik baik banget" atau ngomongin kekurangan yg lain nya.
Pernyataan anda ada benarnya (bagi orang dengan kepercayaan yg sama). Tapi tempat anda menyuarakan pernyataan ini tidak tepat.
