Dr. Toyos is a first generation American. His mother was born in the Dominican Republic. His father was born in Cuba. Dr. Toyos is on the Board of Nashville Area Hispanic Chamber. He is the winner of the Mentorship Award from the Hispanic Center of Excellence.
