- HAL, Pediatric Nursing Simulator, provides realistic pediatric care experience to students at the University of Memphis
Loewenberg College of Nursing Director of Simulation/Clinical Associate Professor Nathan Knappier demonstrates the Pediatric HAL simulator that is used in Pediatric Nursing courses. HAL enhances the realism (fidelity) of patient care scenarios designed for students. This simulator is available at the main campus in Memphis and the Lambuth campus in Jackson, Tennessee. www.memphis.edu/nursing/
Imagine being the janitor for that school thing and then you see that robot speaking and looking at you and crying while u walk by..
If you could make his limbs move and flail that would be more realistic, keep in mind Hal is sappost to simulate a child between four and seven years old and at that age when kids are being treated they always freak out screaming and crying and aren’t willing to corporate the majority of time, I know when I had to go to the emergency room for a peanut allergy I was scared and screaming and crying and trying to get a iv in a panicked child is not easy
Wow so cool how much dose it cost?
An arm and a leg probably since it mimics humans
They sell for just under 50 thousand as of now
$10000000
Sick robot bro
