If Assam has experienced floods for centuries, solutions like drainage and flood management would have been the state's foremost experts. And Urban planning is exactly the authority that should be held accountable. With the amount of population dumping that has happened in Assam, planning should've been its foremost agenda not just for vote bank politics. HBS has allowed millions to settle in his constituency in the Govt owned lands under the guise that settlers could become grazers under the Land rights acquisition of Assam. He has the power to change the outcome but never does; he blatantly ridicules the entire religion of Islam and propagates a religiously saturated ideology from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
