- We respectfully announce the passing of our Beloved Ms. Chandra Brown Goodwin, 52, of Baton Rouge, LA and Mr. Ronald Lewis Goodwin, 53 of North Carolina on December 31, 2022. Celebration of Life services will be held Wednesday January 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Willie A. Watkins Special Events Center, 5843 Redan Rd, Lithonia GA 30058, Pastor Sylvania Watkins Eulogist. The viewing will be Tuesday January 10, 2023 from 2-6 PM at the Willie A. Watkins Special Events Center. Final arrangements entrusted to Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home Carrollton Chapel. 770-836-0044.
They both died together in a car accident in case anyone was wondering.
I was curious about what occurred to them both. How upsetting this must be for all those left behind to mourn their deaths are comforted and strengthen during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing. 😢😢

I'm thankful for the person who wrote how the couple passed. My initial thought was an automobile accident. Thank god it wasn't some sort of homicide.
They were young. So we're all sorry that they had to go so soon. However, I'm assuming they are a married couple. It's so rare that one isn't left behind to grieve the other. Them going together is rare and a blessing.
May God look after their loved ones.
A bridge we all will cross one day. It's no words to say that can comprehend why. Be with the family God.
That's the most joyous and nice funeral music I've ever heard.

Lost my sister in September 2022. I miss her so much. Nov 7, 2023, diagnosed with breast cancer. Dec 14, 2023, lost my mama. January 25, 2024, mental institution I couldn't handle it. My next thought was edicus. But I knew there was God looking over me to pull me thru it all. I thank him every day 😢 I praised him 🙏 🙌 he was my hero. Thank u, Lord Almighty 🙏

Three people died in a crash on New Year's Eve on U.S. Highway 501 in Scotland County, according to Trooper R.A. Rogers with North Carolina Highway Patrol.
Rogers said a Nissan ran off the road to the right, overcorrected, and hit a BMW.
Rogers said the driver of the Nissan has been identified as 18-year-old Elijah Taylor of Charlotte.
The driver of the BMW has been identified as 53-year-old Ronald Goodwin of Georgia, along with his wife 52-year-old Shandra Goodwin, according to Rogers.

My God, I loss my 1st granddaughter,and my 1st and only great grandson 💙 in a one car horrible accident. It happened on September 24,2020,around 8:20pm.They had just left my house, headed home. She was 34,my grgrand was 4 yrs.old.He passed at the scene, she had 2 major surgeries and passed October 15,2020.Its 21/2 yrs later,and I'm still grieving 😥💔😭🙏💜.We buried them both on Saturday, October 31,2020.The worst day of my life, I've loss my Dad,Mom,2 brothers and a sister 💔 😢. This was awful, but I got over it 💔 it's been 28yrs ago.I loss my Dad,and 2 brothers in less than 35 days, and my Mom 5 months later 💔 😢. We found my sister in bed, from a massive heart attack in 2008.I thank God for Grace and Mercy, he's so good to us. 🙏🙌💜 I didn't think I could handle it, But God!!! When I loss my babies,I got a little angry, and I realized I hurting and I asked God to forgive me in less than an hour 🙏 💔 Lord, Why??? was next 🤔.I'm a diabetic, so was my Mom and Dad.Out of 6children,I'm the oldest and the only one with diabetes. None of my 3 children has diabetes, but my 1st granddaughter had it since she was 8,and she went through so much as a type 1,juvenile diabetic. Her sugar fell on the drive home, she went into a diabetic coma,and loss control of her car.Her son was ejected from the car,and passed at the scene. She broke every rib in her body, but 1,and we have 16.After 2 surgeries she passed. She could not have made it without her only child, they were inseparable. God knew this and took them both, Jesus!!! I wasn't expecting to tell you all the entire story, I hope and pray I finished it.I can't do anymore, yesterday was my Hunni 🐻 7th birthday, and the 3rd one in heaven. He passed 4 months to the date of his birthday 🎂 🎈💙

They are resting in their Graves. Ni one has gone to heaven. Elijah, Enoch and Moses are the only ones there. When Jesus comes the Graves will open and those who died in Christ will rise and ascend into heaven along with the righteous who are alive.

They were divorced and his funeral took place before hers. They both died together in the car accident but his family buried him before her funeral took place.

Heavenly Father please rest their dearest soul's in peace 🙏 I pray that the families are blessed with strength and comfort during this difficult time 🙏💔 I'm so very sorry for your loss and on May 24,1993 I received this same message that my grandma who raised me and my 4 yr old son and my sister 4yr old son and my mom's father-in-law and mother-in-law we're all killed in a horrible car accident because my mom's father-in-law had a massive heart attack and went head on into a dump truck 💔💔💔You know something to the family and friends of this beautiful couple when it's one it's hard when it's two it's hard no matter how many lives are lost one is too many 💔On this day they were going fishing but never made it... Myself and my sister lost our only children and my mom lost her only grandchildren and her mom💔God helps us no matter how long ago something happened it always feels like yesterday... Honestly I don't think a human alive has the right thing to say after hearing this kind of news it's devastating and I pray that the family is loved on and checked on because now comes a test of your faith please try your very best to use it don't be angry and if you do please know God is going to carry you through this beautiful family he did it for me and my family and many many others 🙏I almost lost my faith after the accident because I wanted to know why? Why my family Heavenly Father 💔 I don't know the answer to why thing's like this happens to us but I do know that after everyone has moved on and the grieving process sets in and the sleepless nights get even worse please call on God please do because almost everyone that was there is going home shortly and soon they have to move on to the next house 💔 God I pray for strength all of the strength and when myself and my sister was giving away our son's toys and clothes I thought I didn't want to be here anymore especially hearing the little cousins and friends asking can they come outside 💔💔💔My only sibling sister endured the same pain of losing a child and you all might not believe me but as of today God restored us and blessed us with new children and both are the same age as the 2 son's we lost I have a son 27 and my sister has a daughter 27 and people were shocked and in disbelief about how God blessed us with these blessings it's hard to explain but it's all so true💜 I'm so sorry for writing so long but my heart was aching for these beautiful people and I couldn't pass it by I had to say something God wouldn't allow me to walk away and I don't know what the future holds for you family and friends but I pray whatever it is it's all good news🙏💜
Leslie Miller I just finished reading your story & I wish that you and your family didn't have to go through your tragic loss I think that you are a very humble and strong minded person I could only imagine the pain your have in your heart and I know exactly what heartbreak feel like too because I lost my mother 4 yrs ago she passed away from a massive heart attack here at home on our living room couch and my oldest sis tried to give my mama CPR but it didn't work and I was soo sad and confused and angry at God for taking her from me and my family I thought that I would make it without her but I did and I can truly say with true honesty that I owe it all to God for helping me to get thru my life and my grieving process one day at a time without him I couldn't have made it this far he is the only 1 who can help us save our lives, I send you & your family my deepest condolences and I send you my prayers your way God Bless!!!!.....
