Shane Douglas says that his last week in the WWF was Thanksgiving 1996, but that is incorrect. His last appearance in the WWF was the "In Your House" PPV on December 17, 1995.
If shane thinks his last night in the wwf was a house show in the garden, how does he not remember his last night really being December 17,1995 live on ppv in your house from Hershey,pa?

Its very clear Vince has a lot of issues. He had a terrible childhood. That doesn't excuse his behavior today. The guy could afford top of the line mental health treatment. He doesn't even provide it for his wrestlers (that die constantly from mental health related stuff) but he is too much of a coward.

Blake Martin and Douglas can!? I’d take an in shape Vince over Douglas any day of the week.
Shane Douglas says that his last week in the WWF was Thanksgiving 1996, but that is incorrect. His last appearance in the WWF was the "In Your House" PPV on December 17, 1995.
He was off by like 2 weeks. It was 24 yrs ago.....
@@JRWeezy84 He's off by about a full year, but yeah it's been 24 years ago.....🙄
If shane thinks his last night in the wwf was a house show in the garden, how does he not remember his last night really being December 17,1995 live on ppv in your house from Hershey,pa?
Shane Douglas got rail roadid by McMahon. Vince was playing both sides of the Ring. Shane loves wrestling
I'm glad to hear Shane's side of the story. I wasn't there but I am sure had Shane not been hurt he would've been more than happy to work Madison Square Garden.
Shane Douglas is my new favorite veteran wrestler
If this is true Vince has got some serious issues maybe from all the roids.
Its very clear Vince has a lot of issues. He had a terrible childhood. That doesn't excuse his behavior today. The guy could afford top of the line mental health treatment. He doesn't even provide it for his wrestlers (that die constantly from mental health related stuff) but he is too much of a coward.
@@illinoiscannabisreviews1738 hmmm. Sounds a lot like his buddy, who occupies the white house.
Old news. Mcmahon's are assholes.
@@romeross1557 Exactly. Don't forget, Linda serves in his "cabinet" as well.
Although to be fair, Shane McMahon is the silver lining of the McMahons. Most people who’ve worked under/with him have described him as being a standup, caring and all round nice guy
2:19 is when you can tell that the director made hand motions telling that guy to get the fuck out of the shot
The dude ar 2:10 sitting in the back, and thinking the PA angrily waving him out of there was just waving hello is so funny.
Shane was a sane man working for a mentally disturbed boss.
Only Bret had the courage to punch Vince
Vince let him do it lets not make Bret out to be some kinda hero it was his own fault he was in the spot he was in Bret was hard to work with his last year he didn't want to do the job Vince was his boss you do what the boss says period Brets biggest mistake was being a mark for himself
Uh... Nailz
Shane, is The Man!
PLEASE do more interviews with 1960s to mid-70s WWWF wrestlers and/or people who wee there in that era or at least are very familiar with that era of the WWWF!
The Franchise! If only if Vince could of let him be the Franchise character in WWF then how things could of been.. But ECW wouldn't of been half as great without him.. Shane an PitBul, Shane an Taz were awesome.
Shane Douglas was CM Punk before CM Punk was CM Punk.
That goof at 2:20...
That was an amazing story
I still haven't forgiven Vince since he fkd up all the territories. Shane was a great showman in person when I saw him back in the day in the small EWC venues.
I saw Shane wrestling in Fresno as a kid at the local Selland Arena.
Love when people stand up to Vince! He thinks he can intimidate so many people, not all!
i love him!! 💖
Every wrestler of that era states you could take a nightly $200 draw (advance) to help out with expenses. If Shane couldnt make his mortgage, but worked 28 days a month....that's $5600 in draws for that month he could've taken. Was he not accepting those cause every other wrestler states they took em just to make sure they got paid something. As for the back issue, he has been on point on every single interview about what happenned & stayed consistent.
I seem to recall Shane Douglas and Shawn Michaels being a team in SWCW down in Texas, but I may be wrong,I was a kid then.
Actually, it was Paul Diamond that teamed with Shawn in SWCW.
@@DefLeppardVanHalen Actually you are wrong.
@@giovannisocci8793 I've checked Shane's stats on Cagematch and Wrestlingdata, and there's no info on Shane Douglas and Shawn Michaels as a team in Southwest Championship Wrestling. However, Shawn and Paul Diamond did team up as American Force in SWCW, which evolved into Texas All-Star Wrestling.
@@DefLeppardVanHalen As a kid I vividly remember watching Shane Doiglas and Michaels as a tag team, they were very popular...but I can t find any videos of them together, they used to wrestle down the street from where I used to live in San Antonio, the fights some times would spill out into the street...But now I am wondering if it ever happened...BUT I REMEMBER IT.
@@giovannisocci8793 Wow! That's awesome. Hey, man, I didn't mean to think that you're wrong. I was just going by the information that I found. I'm sorry that you lost the videos, that would've been both helpful and amazing to see. Hopefully, someone will find the data of their results as a team.
Nailz (Kevin Kelly), not the Commentator Kevin Kelly, punched Vincent McMahon. Nailz was in a feud with the Big Boss Man (Bubba Rogers aka Ray Traylor), in the WWF/WWE.
if he is lying he is insane with that level of detail. the one part i have a problem with is at the 6:04 mark were he says he crawled on his elbows for about a 100 yards and nobody would help him. A 100 YARDS!!!! and nobody would help him???? that is hard to believe. vince was like that though many a wrestler would be injured and wrestled because they knew vince would screw them over if they didn't wrestle regardless of the seriousness of the medical injury. why do you think so many guys got addicted to pain killers and stuff. vince really doesn't care about wrestlers.....owen hart dies in the ring and the show still goes on... nuff said.
Vince was taking lot of money from them SD not the first guy's complaints about that.
Pay was pretty horrendous back then as the business was in a terrible drought.
that promo was fucking awesome
I really thought it would be “Ric Flair got me kicked out…” Shane’s one sided feud with Flair remains active
Vince is Ricky from Trailer Park Boys
I'm sure he meant Nov 95 was his last month he was long gone in 96.
This guy and Bret Hart have the best shoots because EVERYTHING they say is backed up.
Sucks what happened to him, but aside from that Shane Douglass can really talk and give great stories.
I bet them clearing the backstage area like that was to show him that "we've got more important things going on than you, Shane". Ironically, the fact that they're scheming and plotting to mess with the guy in itself proves they don't.
Glad to hear dustin rhodes was there to help
When he said Kevin Kelly knocked Vince on his ass 🤣 no Shane it was Kevin Wacholz Nailz 😂
He used to wrestle as Kevin Kelly. A lot of wrestlers refer to him by that name :)
Eric the super agent.... dont sit there !! Eric waves hi !!!!
yeah i'm sure thats how the conversation went.
Wasnt Razor already gone by thanksgiving '96, or did he jus mix up the years?
more than likely mixed up the years and it was Thanksgiving 1995
Great story but he got his years mixed up. This had to be 1995 not 95. Scott Hall was in WCW by November 1996
30 percs though🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
