Learning the patterns was really frustrating but I love how this game can make you feel really strong and still give you challenges with the boss fights
I'm gonna play the 1st game this week. Great vision on saying this series was great at launch a few years ago. I just hope the 2nd game has the legs and retains views for UA-cam.
Have fun, they're both brilliant games. Remnant 1, while slightly dated now, is still excellent. Remnant 2 builds on it in every way. Views-wise it'll be hit or miss, but when the game is that great, it's all good anyway
Did this fight on my first playthrough last thing before I got off last night and damn what an encounter this is. Took me a few runs to get the patterns down but once it starts flowing it really does make you feel so powerful. Excellent game so far, looking forward to getting further into it and trying out the higher difficulties.
Ngl, the one at 2:49 gave me the most trouble. Aside that knowing you can shoot the projectiles helped a lot. Took me 3 tries to figured out the routes are fixed, and 7 tries to have the complete mental image of the routes, and 9 to get most of the weak spots done easily. And way too many times for that last one that I mentioned earlier
In my opinion this bullshit should be totally optional lol 😂fuccin love this game so much and that boss literally made me turn the system of AFTER BEATING ITI WAS THAT MAD LOL😂
This boss completely ruins the games main story mode. I don't really have any interest in doing anything other than adventures because of how much this boss kills the game's replayability on apocalypse difficulty. It's not just a minor annoyance of a boss fight, it legitimately lowers the quality of the game by a significant degree imo.
This boss was super fun for me and a buddy to fight. We're bad so it took us a couple of hours to get the patterns down and then execute our plan correctly but it was a blast the whole time
Damn what an epic fight that was. We were 3 friends and died at least 15+ times. But the fight was so unique and music was on spot so it didn't felt frustrating. I will forever remember this boss fight as one of the best gaming experiences in my life.
Hey good Video as always^^ love you follow you since vanilla destiny 2. But i have a question im done with the game and found nothing where to get the Burden of the Destroyer Ring. Where did you get him?
The most unique bossfight I have encountered in a lot of time, and I loved. It was hard but I enjoyed a lot fighting for once a boss that requires you to use your memory, think and defeat it using your brain. The rest of the bosses are cool, but at core level they are all the same, but not this one.
Because not every boss in the game should be a stat match? Use your brain, learn the cubes' patterns, get good. More than half of the enemies in this game will mess you up if you don't try to learn their attacks.
Took me two days to beat this sonfabitch. The I was so focused that I didn’t even realize they my last shot was the last shot. Had to get up, calm down and come back to this one multiple times. If you get mad, you won’t remember the patterns.
Yo I hated this fight I literally died 20 times and then I just stood in the middle and let the block roll over me over and over as I stood in the same spot and killed the rest of the cubes only had to move to kill the last fucker towards to back
It's pretty fair and good boss design imo , it can be hard if you move around so much but there's a strat where you try to stay in one place and destroy all the things then move and it gets much easier
This boss isn’t my idea of fun. It’s not even a test of skill. It’s just a bunch of boss cheese. Hit boxes are definitely off, and why is your character so slow in this game?
This was impossible the tiny cubes they shoot come from every direction and it only takes 1 to kill me. I finally got it but god damn it did they have to make the tiny little cubes do 100000 damage each?!
This boss really isn't that hard. It took me about 30 Minutes to get the pattern and finish the boss. It was on Survivor difficulty which basically just means you have to destroy less weak spots than on higher difficulties. The pattern is always the same, nothing changes. You just have to know where you can stand without being crushed. And you can take out like at least 75% of all weak spots from the starting position.
The mechanics are not the same on higher difficulties. You have to destroy the flying things and you also have an aoe cube attack that he for some weird reason didn't get once. I'm on veteran and I am getting that gay attack 7 times in 30 seconds. It's not a great fight design in my opinion.
This boss is much worse on higher difficulties because of how much more damage the projectiles do. The purple cubes can easily 2 shot you and it seems like they are fired more frequently on apocalypse. I find this fight on apocalypse to be 70% about dodging or shooting down the purple cubes because of how quickly you die if you ignore them. It's a completely awful encounter imo.
not to sure if i want to get this game since i never played the first one, it's kind of giving me outrider vibes, would you happen to have any advice for a first time remnant player?
Outriders came out after the first one so outriders kinda took some stuff from remnant 1 kinda. #1 piece of advice is have fun. People call it “dark souls with guns” if that sounds offputting always remember you don’t actually loose anything if you die like in dark souls. Finding all the loot and secret items and guns and making a build and insane damage is the best part of this game. You absolutely do not need to play the first one. There are 4/5 starting classes and 3 hidden classes all of which you can acquire and play. Always explore every inch of a map/tile set. Read read read what an item does and if it’ll benefit your play style. You may have to look up certain things as some stuff the game just never tells you about. Don’t just blast a boss with bullets and then wander why they’re a bullet sponge…they’re not you just need to do it right. Certain bosses/enemies have certain weakness’ and weak spots and even special mechanics.
It's more of a souls game vs a shooter, so that's something to keep in mind. Outriders was all about playing aggressively and spamming weapons and abilities, whereas Remnant is more about being calm and figuring out enemy attacks and how to approach them. It has a lot of different builds and weapons, and there's way more secrets and bosses to face. Explore as much as you can, and upgrade as often as you need. It's a brilliant game, no need to have played the first either.
@@Esoterickk yknow what, i forgot they existed, my fault og. I was playing challenger with max vigor and barkskin so nothing really mattered but the cubes
The cubes fire homing projectiles at you. Staying in one area for too long results in an AOE attack. Not being perfectly centered when a cube with a hole in it falls on you can also result in significant but potentially non fatal damage. There are a lot of ways to take damage in this fight that aren't one hit KOs.
Yep, I find this fight on apocalypse to be almost exclusively about avoiding the purple projectiles because they do so much dmg you will drop dead any moment you stop focusing on them.
Sometimes the cube is placed in a different location on that last Block. I would sometimes find one on mine that was on a side where the only possible way to shoot it was to stand in the corridor near the exit and shoot it as it started to go backwards (cube turns up)
@unholyspark8262 This particular "boss" is probably easier solo but I do get the feeling they didn't balance some stuff with a solo player in mind. I would prefer summoning as in Dark Souls as I would rather my co-op partners be on their way after the boss.
Hopefully you've gotten through this by now, but if not it sounds like the same cube that I was having trouble with. If you back up to one of the first corners (over the gap to the left immediately from spawn) then you get a free shot on that cube when it moves to fill the 2x1 slot.
@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 apparently somehow I got a bug where the last one acted like I had done the secret way to make the fight easier. It removed the weakspots but not the health. Thankfully actually doing the secret let me finish the fight
