Lovely stuff! Mitch was a fine guitarist.Barry was a neat drummer.Didnt know bass player.However Bruse was in his element doing anything musical. I think he was in RAF with David Leslie,an old neighbour of mine in Leeds,mostly music.There was a show Bruce did with Sammy Davis Junior many years ago....the guy he most admired.That was a good evening.Bruce will be sadly missed,but he has had a good innings.
I did the orchestral pre-records for this show at Snake Ranch Studios.These are fabulous players and good mates. Don't see much of them now I'm in Whitstable. Mitch is outrageously good - and so is Barry's son, Brett!
Paul Townsend I'm not far from you Paul, I live in Dymchurch! I don't think we've ever met or worked together tho? I don't think I've seen André since he used to come in and dep at the 'Cafè de Paris' when it was still a Mecca dance hall back in 1990/91!
Not sure who you are, mate! We could've worked together. I did all sorts of stuff from 1977 till 2000 in town. My wife worked in the Cafe with Ken Mack in the mid/late 80's...
This cant be a 1988 show because Barry Morgan says he has been married 32 years, which would mean he married in 1956....but it you look at his biography, he was born in 1944....I don't think he would have married at age 12!! Does anyone know the real origin date of this?
