I don't like Burberry London, but saying "you shouldn't be smelling like an apple" is very weird. Why is it okay to smell like a lemon? Which fruits does she approve smelling of? I think it's a bit close-minded and ignorant. She may have your taste and know how to smell a testing strip, but I don't think she has the "best nose" at all.
@@ashtonmcmullen6799 dafuk ? So is chosing to smell like apple is other peoples opinion. I dont like that frag too but I aint talk no bs about it just because I dont like it. Simpa detected
I´ve tried many different frangrances and perfumes throughout my life and I can honestly say that those tester strips aren´t really good when it comes to finding out what smells better or worse. Some fragrances and perfumes smell much better on a man's skin than on a tester strip and some smell worse. Some fragrances and perfumes need time to show their true potential. This experiment would have been much better if those women were blindfolded and a person was sitting next to them with a sample of one of those fragrances on their skin.
Also consider that you can bring tester strip right to your nose, while you usually smell the perfume on a man from some distance. So too saturated smells will be better on a man's skin, while less saturated might be too weak to even notice.
I agree, my favourite fragrance that I wear smells quite different when first applied compared to a few hours later. Plain sanitised paper does not replicate the temperature or natural oils of skin and also different people have different skins and their natural scent mixes differently with each fragrance.
Totally agree with this and was going to say the same till I seen your post. Also iv had many expensive fragrances over the years I’m 55 but I get the most comments at work when I wear “Pinaud clubman” the cheapest of cheap.

For me around 2008, Davidoff Cool Water was THE fragrance. I'd spray it and a girl would start sniffing the air like a cat smelling chicken, then come for a closer smell....
Same, but if you are in your mid twenties or early thirties I got a lot of compliments about Jo Malone Myrrh and Tonka, you can also add Cucumber from Jo Malone to make it feel fresh during hot days, I definitely would recommend this fragrance (not a must to mix 2 of em though)
I think this format would go really well with each video highlighting a different designer house. That way, I can anticipate which fragrances will be reviewed.
I have 3 in my collection.. Prada, D&G and Versace. All of them had positive review so I guess I am doing good lol. I use them for different occasions though. Prada - Daily office (one girls mentioned it as a daily driver too) D&G - summer parties, beach vacations Eros - Date nights at fancy dinners
That's kinda funny because she smelled Versace Eros in another video and said she's absolutely in love with it, and it reminds her of her ex and it smells great. While here she didn't like it, so, I wouldn't know any of us know what we are talking about, including the people who are testing these fragrances.
Interesting video, couple things to mention. Keep in mind fragrances are often subjective just like most other things, but there will always be qualities that tend to appeal to a wider audience. Also they could have a drastically different smell when applied to actual skin, but not just that, they will smell different on different skin. Stuff like what kind of shower gel or body lotion you use as well as your personal scent will all influence the final effect.
Great video! I have one suggestion for your editor and that is to keep a small picture of the bottle they’re sniffing down in the corner the whole time. I’m old and couldn’t remember which they were testing from the short intro of the frag.
i like this idea a lot the only thing i would say is the fragrance deff needs to be on skin, idk how you would do that logistically, but the sticks clearly aren't working.
I love these videos, and that you use different personality types of ladies to test them on. It gives us an idea of who we might attract with a given fragrance.
I told you, Teddy! This format is next level as far fragrance videos go. Haha, more these, yes please. Hope more creators follow suit and you can be proud to say, you got the ball rolling. By the way, UA-cam’s algorithm is wack, I didn’t get a notification that you posted a new video either.
i'm impressed by the production quality from such a random small channel i accidentally stumbled upon. Would love to see some niche scents as well. What the avg person thinks of yet another copy paste "blue" fragrance is cool but I feel like there would be some interesting reactions to niche-yet-still-mainstream scents that are a bit more out there like Tuscan Leather, Black Orchid, or something with oud. Edit: i see you have a video exactly like i'm describing, sweet
I started learning that smells are very subjective. I went smell testing and I LOVED La Nuit del Homme, but my girlfriend HATED it. From the popular fragrances, she seems to like The One the best even though I don't see the big deal. In the end, i only care about pleasing her, but it bewilders me how different opinions can be.
My approach is this: pick out the girl who is the most attractive to you and notice what she says she likes. Then if you wear that, you will attract someone who looks roughly similar and is of a similar level of attractiveness. 😂😂
Man, if you guys had a consultation system like you do for watches, I'd give anything. Fragrances are such a difficult world to navigate, especially through the internet. Sure you can get tests but even knowing which ones to look for is so challenging. It'd be great to carry on the main street business feel that your brand has into fragrances, since even though there are tools out there to make finding scents easier, it's hard to go through a giant organization without a personal touch just as it's hard to trust a random person at a storefront with something so personal.
Keep up content like this, and you'll definitely be one of the biggest growing fragrance channels for 2022. Top tier production, authenticity and overall entertainment!!!
Please bring back the channel Teddy and Courtney! The channel's format has so much potential! There are many fragheads out there who would listen and watch you two enthusiasts talk about fragrances! Because you two are just that good at presenting products! Please make a comeback soon!
Tressa loved YSL La Nuit 3:40 👀 surprised she went with Mont Blanc.. “smells like someone too good for their own good” 4:24 lmaoo🤣 All in All great video and their input and character was great 🙌🏾 Love the content you guys put out
I watch a ton of youtube fragrance videos and this is EXACTLY what I like. So well done, and the women were very descriptive and did a great job. Would watch again, but next time, please, please don't misspell La Nuit de L'Homme. Peace....
Idk how i got here, but I like your cinematography. The darker (lighting and clothing), more professional/corporate aesthetic and lighting y'all chose are pretty good. Not my type of content, but y'all are doing good ngl.
Unfortunately smelling a scent off a test card can be very different to on the skin. That's why people who know their stuff always spray on the skin to test. This may we'll explain why some of these normally well rated scents didn't get rated so well.
I'm in no way educated about this stuff and I probably have horrible taste, but I cut hair for a living and over the years I've had men come in wearing scents that jumped out and made me go "dang, what are you wearing?!" One million was one of them, same with Tom ford's ombre leather, and Le Labo santal 33 was crazy unique and the intriguing the first time I smelled it (now I smell it friggin everywhere)... I was a little surprised one million did so poorly here, but also not surprised since I liked it and I don't know anything about this stuff
That’s definitely possible! A video format like this would be tough to execute on skin vs. test strips but maybe it’s something we can experiment with in the future! For me personally, there have been fragrances in the past that I haven’t necessarily loved on paper but I enjoy a little more once they dry down on skin. I wouldn’t say my opinion has changed drastically on paper vs. skin but that’s just my experience! Thanks for watching ☺️ - Courtney
I get it, by all means. Only so much skin, time, all that jazz. I didn't mean it as a criticism nor critique, just a curious observation. And I agree, the dry down from paper to skin I think is where the real difference can be made.
I think we need them to start smelling fragrances off of skin but love the vids as always. You can tell that this is a secondary or tertiary channel. The level of polish. Great stuff
Every time I wear Eros I get compliments. It’s a beast for projection and performance. Wearing Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Intense right now but just in the 1 hour commute to work it’s seemed to have disappeared. Nothing but a skin scent now…smells great but doesn’t last.
This is def the best form to smell fragnances (pardon the spelling) in my book when it's a "mass test". Remember that if they were to smell it on a person the drydown and initial blast would all smell different depending on who they choose to use as a "fragnance doll". Therefore this is really the best way in my opinion, really like it alot! Keep it up🙌🏻 you also have great diversity with different personalities and apperent age differences.
Awesome to see you start up a fragrance channel! You've been a favorite of mine in the watch community for a while and when I recently got into fragrances, lo and behold, you start a frag channel. Perfect timing. Subbed. Keep it up, Teddy!
One thing to remember is all perfumes change when applied to the skin and smell subtly different from person to person. They can also smell better or worse after some time has passed after application. My biggest tip which I got from my grandfather is less is better. It needs to be subtle and you must not smell like the airport departure terminal.
Very interesting. I would love to see, just for the fun of it, these young women sniffing really oldschool men's classics, like ARAMIS, GREY FLANNEL, JOOP!, FAHRENHEIT, even gnarly cheap ones like ENGLISH LEATHER and BRUT. I think it would be kind of hilarious.
Great content, the format is very enjoyable and the video production is high class. My only criticism would be with the naming of the fragrances. At the moment, La Nuit D'lomme sounds almost like The night of T'man. It should be: La Nuit de l'Homme* (The night of the man).
Where did you get this girls from? They have absolutely NO idea from parfumes, but really like to feel 'important', don't they? ;) So sweet. Guys, don't listen to girls, just wear what you like. ;)
The thing about fragrances is some of those are for night and day wear specifically as well as seasons, ever since I tried chanel in my teens I haven't looked back. but I do look at the ingredients and scent profiles to find a similar yet unique scent. I always ask for samples because your body chemistry has an affect on the scent as well.
Fragrance is so subjective. The only way to actively gauge it is to have someone they’re attracted to wearing it and then someone they’re not attracted to wearing it lol
Imagine thinking any of these will make a difference in whether a woman is sexually attracted to a guy or not.. Fragrances only give a reason for a woman to not have sex with you who was initially attracted to you, if they don't like the smell. I am convinced a lot of these comments are just from random bots trying to sell a fragrance
from my experience, the not known "darker red" by "clara michelle" was what's most pleasing to both gender when was tested with 10-11 individuals all agreed that it's a good smell instantly and suggest buying it. I bought it for my friend overseas and he is happy about it as well. I will order it for myself as well in coming weeks after my "creed Silver mountain" bottle has finished.
Girl with blonde long hair ( Gab ) really knows about the notes and character of fragrances.. ✅ The girl with snow cap is just fake.. She dont even know what about fragrances..
1:21 lol she was gassing it up in another video but she did say it was because she had a romantic connection with it, so maybe this is before that romantic connection
I like how UA-cam tells you the most replayed part of the video now. It looks like everybody replayed 3:42 hoping to find which fragrance will give those results.
I'm not sure if he's doing the recording of the video, but I think it would be funny to have a video overlay of Teddy reacting to their reactions given the fact many of them had strong negative reactions to expensive and popular colognes. If possible it would be interesting to have them smell the cologne on someone wearing it as well.
Great to see you Teddy in the world of fragances. I know you from you watch channel which i like a lot!!! But also this is one of my hobbies!! Always great quality content coming from you. Greetings from Mexico!
The problem is the strip. It usually smells way stronger and gives a very different vibe to what it would actually smell like on clothes or skin. Especially when you are smelling it right in the nose like all of them are.
Love your content. I often dislike fragrances on first sniff (like songs) which I grow to love over next 2-3 wears. But still good to see how everyone gets different things from it on first try! My preferences are close to person with Scarface shirt!
Loving this series so far! I think we can start to see a trend here or what ppl like in general, little bit sweet, little bit complex or mysterious and not a strong scent.
When I goggle Versace Eros, it shows me Versace Eros Eau de Toilette Spray and Versace Eros Pour Homme Eau de Parfum What's the difference and which one is the one you presented in the video?

4:40 she nailed it, not many people realize intuitivly that scent more than most senses is pretty heavily tied to memory.
yep, also nailed the la nuit one, it really does smell like specific a shampoo or conditioner
I have 3 in my collection.. Prada, D&G and Versace. All of them had positive review so I guess I am doing good lol. I use them for different occasions though.
Prada - Daily office (one girls mentioned it as a daily driver too)
D&G - summer parties, beach vacations
Eros - Date nights at fancy dinners
Tressa wins these reaction videos. Not just on an entertainment level, but she knows what’s up. Great takes!
She projects a very strong confident energy, kinda lesbian vibe.
Def got humor and charisma.
That's kinda funny because she smelled Versace Eros in another video and said she's absolutely in love with it, and it reminds her of her ex and it smells great. While here she didn't like it, so, I wouldn't know any of us know what we are talking about, including the people who are testing these fragrances.
@@cowboybebopenthusiast4135The moral of the story is wear what YOU like.
The blind opinion is a great way to approach fragrances. Love this format! Please make more videos like this!
i like this idea a lot the only thing i would say is the fragrance deff needs to be on skin, idk how you would do that logistically, but the sticks clearly aren't working.
I love these videos, and that you use different personality types of ladies to test them on. It gives us an idea of who we might attract with a given fragrance.
I don't think I'd consider four white blonde ladies "different types of ladies"
Point taken@@Anddrew914 but I was speaking to their personality types, not their race.
The Scarface girl really knows what she's talking about
She's good!
Nahh not really
i'm impressed by the production quality from such a random small channel i accidentally stumbled upon.
See I cant stand La Nuit and I have a giant bottle 😂
Send it my way
Just randomly searched for fragrance reviews and Teddy the watch expert appears, I’m shocked, did not expect this. 😮😅 Great video btw.
I feel offended, my fav is paco rabbane's 1 million and I’ve gotten alot of compliments on it 😂
Same duh
My approach is this: pick out the girl who is the most attractive to you and notice what she says she likes. Then if you wear that, you will attract someone who looks roughly similar and is of a similar level of attractiveness. 😂😂
LOVE this blind test format. Please do more of these!!
I enjoyed this video format. It was very entertaining and interesting to see the ladies react to the mens fragrances.
The 1 million dry down is elite
Tressa loved YSL La Nuit 3:40 👀 surprised she went with Mont Blanc.. “smells like someone too good for their own good” 4:24 lmaoo🤣 All in All great video and their input and character was great 🙌🏾 Love the content you guys put out
They were next to eachother, I think she messed up the numbers considering she reacted the same way twice
Came across this randomly and the production value really stood out to me. Keep up the good work.
This may we'll explain why some of these normally well rated scents didn't get rated so well.
and it still depends. My skin smells better with sweet notes while my friend smells marvelous with woody notes.
That was all over the place. Though tester strips can lie..I wonder if they would think differently on skin?
That’s definitely possible! A video format like this would be tough to execute on skin vs. test strips but maybe it’s something we can experiment with in the future! For me personally, there have been fragrances in the past that I haven’t necessarily loved on paper but I enjoy a little more once they dry down on skin. I wouldn’t say my opinion has changed drastically on paper vs. skin but that’s just my experience! Thanks for watching ☺️ - Courtney
@@BaldassarreFragrance my advice is to smell the fragrances from the bottle :)
Gab looks like an 80s supermodel, she's absolutely drop dead gorgeous.
I ve been rocking 1 million for over 2 years now got most compliments out of all my perfumes
YSL Tuxedo is my favorite as of now.
Awesome to see you start up a fragrance channel! You've been a favorite of mine in the watch community for a while and when I recently got into fragrances, lo and behold, you start a frag channel. Perfect timing. Subbed. Keep it up, Teddy!
Best part 3:45 🤣. Can we get a vid just like this but guys react to girl fragrances
I have money blanc, and that 1 million one. But I have to be in a mood to wear either one, especially that one million one.
"You shouldn't smell like an apple."
*laughs in layton*
Those are some outdated fragrances that won’t turn heads cause it’s been smelled a million times. Now you can delete my comment 😂
I wish they had done "Paco Rabanne 1 Million Lucky", the lucky product is far different and unique, very nice - the only one I wear
I think I'll stick to my viciously offensive body odor thanks
Almost bought Eros a few months but couldn't decide between edp or parfum. What did you use?
I love these style of videos keep Tressa coming I love her style and commentary
despite how casual the beanie girl looks, shes probably the one with the classiest taste.
Also, Tressa has liked my favorite fragrances a lot so far. Curious to see what other fragrances she’ll be into in future videos 👌
Fragrance is so subjective. The only way to actively gauge it is to have someone they’re attracted to wearing it and then someone they’re not attracted to wearing it lol
Imagine caring what a woman thinks
10-11 is very few
Girl with blonde long hair ( Gab ) really knows about the notes and character of fragrances.. ✅
The girl with snow cap is just fake..
She dont even know what about fragrances..
They seem to give their honest opinion i think. The lady with the beanie was a little extra but that’s her style
@@austinburwell5834 okay 😅👍
1:21 lol she was gassing it up in another video but she did say it was because she had a romantic connection with it, so maybe this is before that romantic connection
Wasn’t Tressa’s favorite #4 (La Nuit D’Lomme)? Cause she went nuts for that one but at the end it says MontBlanc was her favorite? 🤔
I like how UA-cam tells you the most replayed part of the video now. It looks like everybody replayed 3:42 hoping to find which fragrance will give those results.
3:40 the way I cheered for that 😂 my all time favorite cologne it’s perfect
I'm not sure if he's doing the recording of the video, but I think it would be funny to have a video overlay of Teddy reacting to their reactions given the fact many of them had strong negative reactions to expensive and popular colognes. If possible it would be interesting to have them smell the cologne on someone wearing it as well.
I had the versace one in spray form, I usually only took one spray spray at an arms length away and people would tell me the scent was too powerful
Thanks, saved me money hehehe.
Wasn’t Tressa’s favourite reaction for La Nuit de l’Homme?
Light blue eau intense feminine??? Wonder what they would think of guys wearing BR540 or Invictus
Its a nice start to the day seeing the cologne I chose this morning at the top of the list for a few of these ladies.
Loving this series so far! I think we can start to see a trend here or what ppl like in general, little bit sweet, little bit complex or mysterious and not a strong scent.
When I goggle Versace Eros, it shows me Versace Eros Eau de Toilette Spray and Versace Eros Pour Homme Eau de Parfum
What's the difference and which one is the one you presented in the video?
Funny how 1 million gets such bad comments when in reality all you hear is you smell really good 🤣 Side note, of you compare this video to Jeremy’s content all i have to say is much respect to you sir. Nicely put together!
Nice video Teddy. I've watched a ton of ur videos about watches and have gotten into fragrances since a few months. Very funny to see that u suddenly decided to get into the fragrance-yt-community. Ur making some great videos, keep up the good work buddy
Great concept and well executed. And there were some reactions that I did not expect!
The notes at the beginning will differ completely from those at the base and mid. Could be worth revisiting the fragrances again to see if they smell different
What would be good for a daily wear? I'm a junior in highschool and I want to start wearing cologne to school. I was looking for something a little sweet and lowkey.
Montblanc Legend, Legend Spirit, Versace Pour Homme, Man Eau Fraiche, Dylan Blue are good cheapies. Eros EDT, 1 Million, Ultra Male for colder months.
I hear blending it on your skin is what makes it its own unique scent. So the final product can still be different.
Love the content, you guys hit the ground running!
I knew Eros was good. Now I gotta try the D & G Light Blue Intense. Apparently the ladies love it.
I don't like Burberry London; it was my first cologne. I got the most compliment wearing D&G light blue, like 75% of the time. My favorite is YSL L'Homme. If Prada is more subtle, I would like to try it out.
Came here to see the reactions to La Nuit D’Lomme, then I feel like i was here for Tressa. Outcome couldn't have been better
Paco Rabanne Invictis has gotten me so many compliments that it is unreal.
Great content! D&G light blue is all I ever wear. The perfect unisex scent
I’ve worn 1 Million for years but I’ve always wanted to try La Nuit.
