When a team parks the bus they are highly susceptible to long range shots from outside the box which Germany didn't try in this match . They just tried to get into the box for trying a shot or 2. Also the French team still continued to press them to prevent these long rangers but still Germany could have tried to shoot any deflection from the defenders can totally change the game.
Kross tried it once but it got stopped by his own team mate this is were I think France got a scare. Overall a good quality game from both teams.

I don't know bout others but I think with team squad that France have, I expect them to play much more attractive football, rather than score one goal, park the bus and keep utilizing Mbappe's pace through long balls, but this is the football nowadays I guess, everyone just care bout the results compared to the style of play. Just disappointed...

@@clementngai370 it's not even an opinion it's facts. Germany had a beautiful game tactically. France had no awnser but to play back and counter attack. That 3-4-3 was so flexible. It would quickly transform to a 4-2-4 and a 4-4-2. In fact, in the majority of the game Germany took form in a 4-2-4 inspired from the Bayern given their great players at CM (Kroos and Gundogan). Germany exposed the flaws of France and it's Strength as well. France is physical and has a great defense when they play back. If Portugal wants to win, they need to finish well every little chance they get and always be aware of a deadly counter-attack.

Rubbish analysis. Can't agree France would love to sit back and defend.
They were forced to sit back and just rely on mbape for counter attack and it was clearly visible they could not possess or control the game at all. Do you think they were happily riding on hummels own goal and leave the pitch without a big win? Nonsense.. Just look at the match stats how many shots did they get, only 4 with just one on target compared to Germans. Forget the offside goals it happens with every team while counter attacking if you don't check properly. France do not deserve this kind of a win being champion. Simply they were not a better team against Germany but thanks to their well organise defence and thanks to unfortunate Gnabry miss, otherwise it would have ended a draw.
Except that you are totally wrong because we can hear deschamps saying "stop attacking, give them the ball" during the game.
