I am privileged because I get to do everything, yard work, anything home repairs, maintain both vehicles, I make dinner 3 nights out of the week, bring home the bacon and remain loyal and honest and most of the time I get much of the housework done, just so my better half can have an easier day!
First of all I want to point out that these two ladies represent what women are supposed to look like specially black women they're beautiful smart well spoken and these girls have a very strong opinion about the way things are supposed to be. Kara and Danielle I wish you luck with your channel once again and I like the way you carry yourself. Just prepare yourself for a lot of airtime 🙏👍
Another thought-provoking episode. Scriptural truth does ultimately trump our feelings and ideologies. I think part of the larger issue is the way women have been unnaturally elevated or even deified in Western culture. The ancient greeks, for example, worshipped Athena, Hera, etc., and this has evolved and worsened over the centuries. Especially as the more secular our society becomes.

Ladies I am a single mama and have been most of my parenting life which is over 30 years. I see how God has equipped me to be strong and capable and equipped me to handle the responsibility as best I can but it's no replacement for what God intended when he put husband and wife together with the man as the head of the household. He is the head of my household! I absolutely agree that women should not be in primary leadership roles! we are to be the helper and should be upholding and encouraging our men to be strong men of God and lead as God has called them to lead!
If you believe this, then why wasn't there a man or father in the home to help raise your children? I appreciate the fact that you are owning up to this, but your children needed a father in the home.
Remember, STATISTICALLY..kids do better with both units in the house..If YOUR experience is different..that's ANECDOTAL. YOU or that one n'em don't invalidate the trend or tendency.
What happens more often than not in the black communities, the women mess around, have children, the man leaves because the women is angry, mad, and overbearing (inherited from her Mother), and so the women have no choice but to work several jobs, never home, and who suffers the most in all of this, the children. They not only don't have a Father in the home, but the Mother is never home either. No wonder the black younger generation are so screwed up.

It was not a good start when the first question is "Why does faith matter?" I wasn't surprised to see both of these women in the CNN interview were feminists, questioning the role of a Mother. Since they both are career women, I was also not surprised to see them both diminishing the importance of a women in the home, taking care of the children, and the home. With the feminist movement on the rise, I think we are going to see more and more women try to be pastors; which, just doesn't work out so well. Heaven help us if we ever have a women as a president of a United States. There is no better job for a women than being a Mother.

It is very scary watching people just loosely ignoring what God said and allowing the enemy openly to use them. The Holy Bible God gave gave us with order... Follow it.
I'm thinking that when we say we want to conserve traditional values as opposed to progressing ahead, a lot of people on the left hear "Let's go back to slavery, women as property, gay people getting attacked, etc." And leftists, for lack of a better term, might say that Jesus was "progressing" the Old Testament (which we know is untrue because Jesus came to fulfill the Old Testament, not destroy it, but it's still an argument however hollow). But with this said, I think we might have more of a justifiable position if we talked about the advantages of living according to human origin instead of American origin. I.e, this argument is impenetrable because this is how God intended it, and we can easily see the result of going against His design, vs. We need to go back to America as it was initially intended by our founding fathers. Because America is fallible, but our Creator isn't. What say all of you?
What we sinners do on Earth, within our respective societies and worldwide, does not affect the truth of God's word. His laws are perfect as they are. It is arrogant and damaging to humanity to think otherwise.
Those who really want to be married probably shouldn't get married. 17 years of marriage was enough for me. Too bad most people are broken and expect you to build them up. Why has it become a burden, needing two salaries to support a family?. Was it something accidental or engineered by political mishandling and too much regulations, government and political agendas affecting peoples lives negatively? Government inflating currency, thereby devaluing the money? Too much govt control resulting in less freedom and burdensome pressures caused by politicians lust for control of our lives?
Somehow equality has disappeared, and equity has taken over. All should have equal opportunity, but equity means equal outcomes. Merit has no place in the equation.
To your point, more and more society is trying to treat everyone the same, as if they are equal. Men and women are not equal, they both have different talents and abilities. I am sorry, a Mother and Father are not equal, never will be, where they both play separate and unique roles where they should compliment each other. What I hate the most is when society tends to think that women can be both a Mother and Father, and when women try to raise children without a Father, it is a disaster. In the work force, the most qualified person should get the job, not matter what race or gender.
There is truly beauty that radiate through you conservative ladies. Kara & Danielle, I pray that God will provide you blessed and godly men to lead your home in the near future. It’s actually a mistake that we have labeled people based on a one time ideology. People’s perspectives change based on what’s at times. There is truly good and evil - and there is only one who is good, that’s the Father in heaven - which is less of a label and more of the state of being that is only determined by our Creator. Ultimately, man’s heart is evil and we all need the Savior. So there will not be one who has not made mistakes, but many who are blinded by the culture, by opinion, by conforming to the ways of the world. We all need Jesus.
There IS a price to pay when Mom stays home BUT it’s absolutely worth it. I was the sole earner for more than a decade and my kids benefitted so much more than having more income would ever have! Women are rock stars when they are in their God appointed positions~

Somehow equality has disappeared, and equity has taken over. All should have equal opportunity, but equity means equal outcomes. Merit has no place in the equation.
To your point, more and more society is trying to treat everyone the same, as if they are equal. Men and women are not equal, they both have different talents and abilities. I am sorry, a Mother and Father are not equal, never will be, where they both play separate and unique roles where they should compliment each other. What I hate the most is when society tends to think that women can be both a Mother and Father, and when women try to raise children without a Father, it is a disaster. In the work force, the most qualified person should get the job, not matter what race or gender.
I am privileged to make my wife's lunch, get her car warmed up and ready to leave every morning.

It’s actually a mistake that we have labeled people based on a one time ideology. People’s perspectives change based on what’s at times. There is truly good and evil - and there is only one who is good, that’s the Father in heaven - which is less of a label and more of the state of being that is only determined by our Creator. Ultimately, man’s heart is evil and we all need the Savior. So there will not be one who has not made mistakes, but many who are blinded by the culture, by opinion, by conforming to the ways of the world. We all need Jesus.
There IS a price to pay when Mom stays home BUT it’s absolutely worth it.
I was the sole earner for more than a decade and my kids benefitted so much more than having more income would ever have!
