"The Concealed Carry Protocol" by Nutnfancy

- The carriage of a gun for self-protection or the protection of others is a serious decision. There are many psychological, legal, civil, and logistical ramifications of your decision. This video encourages their consideration. If a responsible civilian makes this decision there a certain "rules of the road" that should be followed in order to best prevent the use of lethal force and represent the CCW/CCP community responsibly. There are good voices in the pro-self-defence community that talk to many these issues and I have been adding my voice to these in many videos. Here's another, foundational in nature. Contained herein are mine, based on my over 18 years as a Concealed Carry Permit holder (civilian capacity) in every state I've lived in during that time. Addressed in serious fashion are considerations of "no carry" or so-called "gun free" zones and areas (better termed FREE FIRE zones for bad guys, see my vid: "Gun Free, Death Pay" by Nutnfancy • "Gun Free, Death Pay" ... ), the carry attitude, interaction with law enforcement, open vs concealed carry considerations, engagement decisions and considerations, extraction and de-escalation of the confrontation, the psychological considerations of weapon employment as a civilian, and the mandate of proficiency. This is NOT legal advice, it is LIFE advice. It is for those good people who are willing to use lethal force under certain circumstances to save lives, most likely their own. The concealed carry permit holder serves to actually and demonstrably make society safer. It has been proven to reduce crime in all areas where it has been instituted and gives its practitioner OPTIONS. The permit holders are to be applauded for their commitment in responsibility and public safety. However, the weight of its responsibility is serious and should be thoughtfully considered on his or her own "scale of life" before embarking upon The Concealed Carry Protocol. //////////////// Music: www.partnersinr...
I'm a Politician, taking the stage for the Libertarian Party of Canada. I share this video with Socialists. They often don't have any knowledge, get angry and block me. I even offer to take them through the process to get a firearm, and how to use it and store it properly. Most important, how to respect it. ...nope, they block me. I find it very difficult to talk to people that feel government can solve everything. Thank you Nutnfancy for at least giving me some reference to how responsible firearm owners actually are.
American Libertarian in California. I understand what you're coming from. Don't give up. keep on the good fight.
+walperstyle Good to know that there are politicians up north that advocate rather than demonize. Thank you sir, for trying to educate your citizens even if they are reluctant to listen. Take care and God Bless.
Tell that to our NDP party
+walperstyle LMAO! I know how you feel. Some people will never listen, no matter what. Don't waste your effort.
Don't tell him to "not waste his time". His people need people like him with "balls".
What I taught my students: every increment of force you possess requires you dial down your attitude by an even greater degree.
This needs to be shown to skeptics of conceal carry, it shows that its not some run of the mill decision and people don't run around with the intent on using a firearm just because. I'd love to show this to people but they just don't have the attention span for 48minutes~ or so.
First, let me say, I'm scheduled to take my CCDW class on May 23rd. I've been contemplating getting my CCDW for over 8 years for ALL the reasons you've mentioned in this video. It's a HUGE responsibility. It's one thing to own firearms for home protection. Making the leap to carry (and the responsibility/consequences) is a whole different ball game.
I've been following your channel for 3 years for reviews, advice, etc...I've found your advice to be concise and accurate (I don't just take your word for it). Your sentiments regarding CCDW and the possible "down sides" were EXACTLY what I've been thinking for several years; and those thoughts (worries) have prevented me from getting the CCDW.
After a lot of reflection and self evaluation, I've chosen to take on that "right" and the responsibility that comes with it. Kudos to you, Nut'n; and thank you for putting forth a very thoughtful video on a difficult/controversial subject.
I choose to be a sheep dog!!
Good thing that doctor in PA, carried in a "gun-free zone" and was able to stop the crazy guy in the hospital.
Guy knew his patients well, I guess.
***** Haha, that icon, I thought Dio had become fat the first time I saw it. The guy must regret taking that picture.
*****
I suspect you're exactly right.
These are all topics I have been trying to convey to my wife as she is learning how to shoot with the goal of carrying concealed. Very good job addressing this very serious and difficult subject responsibly and with a great deal of thought and insight. This is possibly the best video I have seen on UA-cam.
Im a brit now living in pa and i carry my glock 26 (looking in to a shield because of thinness)100% of the time. I enjoy your videos and i wish i could get the government back in the uk to understand that guns are not evil
A profound video. What a great presenter you are…I have recently applied for my conceal carry permit here in Alabama and have been waiting for several weeks for its approval. I am glad the processing is taking a few weeks. It has given me time to think seriously the responsibility of carrying and processing a firearm. I appreciate the time you have devoted in making these education videos… Keep up the good work… 73 from AI4QT.
This video should be mandatory for those who wish to CC! You rock NUTN.
Nutn, my mom just recently bought two .380 pistols and i made her watch this.
She is ex-military, been retired for about 16 years and after watching your video decided she wanted to start carrying a weapon again. Thanks nutn love your vids.
I am only 18 and I live in Missouri. My state recently passed legislation lowering the CCW permit age to 19. Needless to say, I am getting my permit in a few weeks right after my birthday. This video was amazing and I feel like more people in the Concealed Carry community should watch it. There have been several shootings and break-ins in my small town recently and I feel that now more than ever I need a weapon to feel safe. I've been collecting guns for a while now and I'm very proficient with my Colt Series 80, it's just sad that we live in a society where I need that weapon to feel safe.
I set up last night at 2 AM glued to this video. I have conceal carried for 10 years. As a retired soldier, I understand the importance of personal protection. How inspiring Nutnfancy, awesome lecture. I have definitely subscribed to your channel and I will be watching more videos today! Thanks again...your a true American
I've got too many comments to post, but just appreciate that you bring up the subject Nutn. Another great vid. Keep up the great work!"The only thing that stops a Bad Guy with a gun......is a Good Guy with a gun."
This is the best video I have seen on CCW. Today, I am not prepared for CCW. I need to be a lot more proficient than I am today or I risk making the situation worse, esp under stress as you mention here. Good news is that I can always get to that point and then start carrying. Excellent message and points. Thanks as always.
Great video, made me think quite a bit more in depth about getting my concealed carry permit. Thank you for sharing.
Very in depth I wish more people understood why we carry...sheepeople gave me a quick chuckle
Good stuff! I live in Idaho, and so far Idaho is a good state to carry in. Recently went through ccw class and am awaiting background results. I'm reasonably confident in those results. As a newbee, to these kind of things, I am trying to get as much usable knowledge as I can possibly absorb. Thank you for making these videos available.
Great video nutnfancy. I have been a concealed permit holder and I found this very knowledgeable and I think the same exact way..I agree totally. I watch your videos all the time and enjoy them all..keep them coming.
whenever i hear the question "do you need a gun?" my answer is "i hope not."
You are very right your video has helped me out.I'm a victim of a armed robbery at work.it happened a year ago,I only survived because the guy gun jammed.the sad story is that im a gun owner and have training with my pistol without a gun license.I lost my car,job and a piece of me that I'll never have again.people don't be to late to protect yourself, your family and others that need serious help to keep living.I'm taking the class tomorrow and I'm going to be prepared for this evil world we are
If there had to be a requirement for people to get there ccw permit it should be to watch this video. Nutn this information is priceless and I thank you for taking your time to make ccw holders smarter.
I share this video all the time.

Wow. You must be a blast at parties.
i never said i was. you're missing the point. we'll leave it at that.
1911's are badass as hell, but when it comes to carrying (for me) i like a subcompact. its light, small, and easy to conceal.
i know everybody has different likes/dislikes. for me i like a subcompact polymer pistol for concealed carry. dont get me wrong though. i own a couple 1911s and i love them!
I've been thinking a lot about getting my carry license, due to being near a bad city, and my own city is getting pretty not so good. A lot of what you talked about in this video are things I've thought about, but this really brings those topics a little more into the light. I thank you for the awesome, and very thought provoking video.
I want to add an item to the list of quality gun groups here, the USCCA, they are invaluable in helping to take care of legal gun owners who DO have to make the final choice to end someone's life.
+Seamus RBNW - They also have fantastic training resources.

yep!
I'm a conceal carrier. My work has a "no guns" policy so I cant bring it into the office... The other day the news was reporting a "disturbed man with a high powered rifle" just down the street from our office building. As people gathered around my cube texting to find out the latest and such, I said to my boss "Well I'm glad we are all sitting her in this gun free zone! If the gunman comes in here MAYBE I'll have time to run to my truck to get my gun"... Some people just dont get it.
I've been watching Nutnfancy for a long time now. This is one of his best. People who post that all of this is just common sense and you should already know this, are in my mind, foolish. I've been a CCW holder for over 25 years and have room to learn something every day on the subject. I've had a barrel of a gun in my face 3 times in my 50 years as a civilian. I've had to pull mine once to stop a break in at my apartment in Dallas many years ago. We all can learn and digest what we want from the knowledge of others. I applaud Nutnfancy, Masaad Ayoob and the rest of the Sheepdogs who are out there to inform and educate law abiding CCW citizens.
Agreed. I don't CCW yet because in my state and county its as long as 15months to get just a regular permit and a CCW permit is may issue at a Judge discretion versus just the Sheriff. Anyway I don't want to say its traumatizing but it certainly puts your life in a new perspective when you face down death more than once in any manner, however it might have crept up on me after every "close call" I've had I took at the situation seriously because ultimately the only person responsible for you is yourself.
i agree bud. the day you think you know it all is the worst day of your life because now you are unteachable! bottom line is nobody is perfect and nobody knows it all. with that said, their is always room for improvement.
aaron schillinger
I always keep an open mind to learning and I never ever assume I know everything...even in the presence of some pretty stupid people too :D I have allot of respect for people that follow that, wisdom is knowing that you don't know everything. On the other hand I know people who think they know it all and they became unteachable and some even just lost friends and became more self destructive than anything...sort of sad...People really need to check their ego and put it in their pocket sometimes.
i've seen it too bud and it is sad! keep that good philosophy forever. ;)
Seriously, Nutn approaches these issues with so much thought, and respect for opinions, and expertise. He dispenses outstanding advice, to gun carriers, and non-gun carriers, and I just wanted to say thank you for that. We need more intelligent, well rounded, and level headed people on our side.
This was very worth my time to sit and learn this evening. Thank you for taking the time to share your "life advice"!
This video is an excellent presentation. The information is so well presented that, in my personal onion, it should be included as an integral part of any CCW class. Great presentation and very professional. Thank you.
Do i need a gun...? No . Should i exercise my right to be armed? protect my family and myself from others up to evil? be ready and expecting the unexpected?
Absofuckinglutelly!
God Bless America!

@AkMenace13 @AkMenace13 Thank you my friend. I humbled to have a connection with quality people like yourself. Thanks for being a TNPr and responsible gun owner. You support is humbling.
This is LITERALLY the first subscribe I've EVER DONE.. Great, informative video with lots of useful information. Well done, Nutnfancy
welcome to the the nutnfancy project. you are now a tnp'er ;)
Glad to have another fellow TNP'er up in this bitch haha
Hey Mr. Nutnfancy. Just wanted to give you my thanks for educating the online community on firearm philosophy and all the other tactical goodness.
Just watched this video a second time and felt it was time to show gratitude.
Recently recieved my Tx CHL. I'm now revisiting some of your philosophy vids so that I can develop a great sheepdog mindset.
I wish TNP well,
- Heath
This video plus the one of a Florida teacher's husband gunning down school board members (as they begged the shooter for their lives) was very influential for me. I will exercise my right to defend myself until the time I can no longer handle a gun.
Very discrete, professional, experienced speaker. Dude, you are a great advocate for us and i thankyou for puting these posts up. Nothing macho about this, just very professional and to to point of purpose. Thankyou so much for edjucating the world, we need more of you!
You have obviously spent alot of time and mental energy on the subject, and you are to be commended for the content but more for the nature of this video. Excuse me now, because I have to go watch the other 549 vids you have up. Kudos
I'm a new concealed carry permit holder and a 10 year Marine veteren. Thank you for your information, you've cleared up alot of questions for me. A Marine with a weapon and a civilian with a weapon are 2 different worlds.
Gun free zones or "slaughter zones" should be required by law to offer body armor upon entry. A private business that displays a no concealed carry sign should also be required to offer body armor to its customers or remove the sign. This may sound ridiculous, but by asking citizens to forgo their right to defend themselves then a method of defense needs to be provided.
+Myk Ford I like it.
How about do like me and carry everyday but keep it stupid low pro,if its needed like active shooter i doubht ill go to jail for stopping it if god lets me be so lucky.
Watched the entire video and I really picked up a lot of useful info and will try to better myself as a ccw member. Thank you very much for taking the time to make this available. Truly appreciate your effort.
Where i live in pa malls have signs on the doors saying no weapons allowed including concealed carry. Like you say, disarming the good guys gives free range to the bad guys. Its sad.
jmaker33 The signs posted in the mall have no legal precedence in PA, the only ramification that can occur is the store can ask you to leave. No are no criminal charges that can be enacted on you because the only places that you're not allowed to carry, as per PA law, are government buildings, schools. Philly has some other restrictions within their city limits but stores are not one of them. You're not breaking any laws by carrying in stores. If its concealed, they'd never know about it anyway.
reference: handgunlaw.us/states/pennsylvania.pdf
You can still be cited for it thought if your are caught carrying it because doesn't the sign serve as conditional permission? Meaning if your caught with it then its considered instant trespassing? Anyone know what the citing includes? Fine? Anything serious?
Not saying i wouldn't carry concealed anyways cause thats my god given right still, just clearing it up.
jmaker33 I'd think unless the sign specifically states that you will be considered trespassing if you carry in their store, then they cant do anything but ask you to leave. If someone does spot it and approach you just be like oh, I didn't notice the sign on the way in, I'm sorry, I'll leave. I'm sure it would end there. If they are really bugging out about it, just calmly leave before anyone who could fine you shows up. Perhaps hand them one of these cards before you leave.

Check this out thought bro.

One of your best videos in my opinion. Much respect. I was asked why I needed a gun in my CHL class and my answer boiled down to I would rather have it and never need it, than to need it and not have it.
Thugs / Criminals dont care about gun free zones Remember that next time tou disarm yourself in a gun free zone
I've been watching your channel now for a couple of years . This past year I went and got my ccw permit. I just purchased my first pistol. After watching a lot of reviews on the gun. I went and purchased a Springfield xds 9mm. You made that decision for me. Thank you. Great C.C. Gun. Thank you for your commitment on the shooting subject. Keep them coming.
Dude.... I have to developed a great respect for you and your videos over the past year. I wanted to say that I wholeheartedly thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom with us all. God Bless...!!!
Hey buddy, you hit the ball outta the park on this one! I've been a subscriber for well over a year for your gun and knife reviews and can't believe I missed this one! Great Job! BTW... your gun and knife reviews have been a big factor in my research when getting a new tool. You save me a lot of research time just watching what you have to say about an item. Keep up the good work and thanks for your service. Semper Fi.
This has to be my most watched Nutnfancy video. Partially because of this video I went out and got my CCW.
As someone who is about to get a CCL, I really appreciate all of your videos. You are no non-sence and to the point. You are also a logical, well spoken person that seems to have the qualities of the heros you speak of. I made a CCW choice (Kahr CW9) based on your reviews. I also subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work and thanks for being a good ambassador for gun rights.
I've carried off and on since the 80s. I used to read a lot of Massad Ayoob. I really enjoy your dialogs on this subject.
I am the son of an x-police officer. I am a kid who loves watching your videos because they teach me something. I love your videos you videos also because you are so wise on this subject and you take the time out of your day to teach people something important about firearms. M dad wants to sell all his guns cause he is retired and he is getting tired of carrying and has " no use for his concealed carry permit anymore. " I have tried to convince him that if he sells it and wen are in a terrible
I've had my Texas CHL for just a few days now and this was an incredibly helpful video for someone like me to watch. Great information and drives home the point that being a responsible carrier is mandatory and of ultimate importance.
I'm going through the TX CHL application process myself but already signed up with TX Law Shield to cover myself whether I'm out on the street (eventually) or having to fire my pistol for home defense. Everything mentioned in the video is valuable to me. Paying less than what an attorney would charge for one billable hour to cocer myself for one year is worth it. Like in chess, one must always think multiple steps ahead before making a move.
My CCW story: Two years ago a guy with road rage cut me off, pulled me over, got out of his car, and approached my window screaming and gesturing. I had a my hand on a concealed pistol--I never brandished, and he was completely unaware that I was armed. I remained in my car and spoke with him calmly, and diffused the sitch. It was a really tense moment. However, he got back in his car and we never saw each other again. As I drove away, I couldn't have been happier that I didn't brandish.
Big mistake! CC is not a privilege. Constitution dude. CC is a right!
Thanks for your advice nutnfancy. I've been considering getting a gun and a concealed carry permit and this video addressed pretty much of my concerns. Hell it even taught me how to be a responsible concealed carrier by doing my best to remove myself from any bad situation.
thank you for making this video, i have been watching you for a while, i just turned 21 and i will for sure take the decision seriously.
Thank you for all your hard work nutnfancy. This video should be shown to everyone from here on out who is applying for or even possesses a concealed carry permit. It opened my eyes to the behavior that should be applied to this permit.
One problem I have is living in a state where CCW permits are not shall issue, they are may issue....its a bit ridiculous...I'm working on getting my CCW permit and I feel like I'm going to have to make a pitch to a Judge, I'll certainly take what I heard in this video and apply some of it when explaining why I need a CCW permit and pray that the Judge I get isn't super liberal.
Excellent!!!
This should be a must see (by choice) video by one of the most learned individuals out there. We need to realize what we are doing when we chose to carry a concealed firearm
Here's a fun little fact for you guys from Australia. During the Port Arthur massacre (the one that was used as the perfect excuse to introduce stringent new gun control in our country), the Melbourne SOG (SWAT, essentially) were on the scene and witnessed the person pretending to be Martin Bryant walking around and firing shots. They actually had him in their sights.
Why didn't they fire? Because they weren't allowed to. The only way they would have been justified in shooting him was if he had turned his weapons on them. This directly from the mouth of an ex army, SAS, police and SOG member now retired. Nobody was carrying a gun for protection, the people with guns that turned up did nothing to stop it, 36 people died, more were wounded - and the freedom of my country was forever diminished.... Police will not protect you when you need them.
Just saying.
So the lizardmen of the CIA edited out all the articles and reports about the event, stating the two cops were shot at by Bryant as soon as they reached his position, they had to take cover in a ditch, and the SOG did not shot because it was an hostage situation (the bastard later shooting his two hostages anyway) - gotta love the conspiracy nuts spreading lies
TubeofDestiny You again... No conspiracy about it. It's a matter of record that the SOG from Melbourne had Bryant in their sights with a scoped rifle. A shot could have easily been taken well before they besieged him in the house, but it wasn't. Why? Because the SOG were not in direct danger at the time and were not allowed to engage... These restrictions were confirmed by an ex-SOG member.,
I would like to see the relevant information about his hostage taking though.
Thanks for the heads up...we've been trying to block those ads for days and haven't got it figured out yet. I don't see the ads and neither does Nutn so we have to rely on people who do see them to tell us they are still running. It is much appreciated. -- Veri
Sheep have no right to be mad at a sheepdog for not closing to engage a mass shooter. Why? Because they could have taken a CCW course and packed a gun themselves, but they didn't. If they didn't intervene, why should you be looked down upon for not intervening?
If someone was on fire and you had a fire extinguisher, would you use it to put them out? Even though they didn't have their own fire extinguisher?
It sickens me that there's any number of people that think the way you do.
You are comparing apples to oranges. In the case of a fire, there is minimal danger to myself by putting them out. I have a firearm for my protection. I feel no obligation to put myself in danger for someone else. You do no good to others if you are dead.
0150r So what do you do if, you're at 7/11 or say a grocery store or what if your're at a park, and someone else's life is in danger, what would you do? walk away? or think "better them than me"? I'm not saying go looking for trouble, but what if it finds someone close to you, like a sister or brother? what are your limits, to when you would step in and help someone else out?
Wow I watched like four hours of your videos today. You have a lot of intelligent things to say and your views have supported some of the careful planning and consideration I have taken as I ready myself to own my first pistol. Thank you for the massive body of good information you are donating selflessly to this community of self responsible citizens that you so obviously love and respect.
I have to say i've watched many of your videos, normally product reviews etc and I usually disagree with something. Either you seriously dig product X and I feel its a POS or have a sincere dislike for Y and I think its the greatest thing since sliced bread. This is the FIRST one that i can honestly say i agree with 100% of everything you say. Most people don't truly understand the responsibility that comes along with carrying. GREAT VIDEO!!!
everyone likes different guns. what i like about nutn is he's unbiased. he tells it like he sees it and he also comments that you might see it differently. i hate biased gun reviews. if you're going to be a critic you need to be unbiased!
your comment about the "safety net that never gets used" reminded me that in the stage lighting business, lights are hung on multi-tiered light "trees" and those trees are hoisted into the air. after mounting components of a lighting rig, each light and tier are latched or retained bearing little or no weight as a second "safety net" in addition to their mounting latches. if and when one step is forgotten, people die. most safety latches never bear any weight.
Again. I hate the fact that you demonized us liberals BUT I LOVE WHAT YOU'RE SAYING!!! Logically assessing the situation is #1!!
Wow a Lib making since. Jk
Great and knowledgeable advice I have watched most all of your videos and have found them to be both and informative and interesting. I am the tender age of 18 right now but hope to get my CCW when I'm of age. Your a true patriot and a great American thank you.
I'm British - so naturally I do not carry a firearm, because UK laws do not permit us, nor do I personally wish to carry one if I permitted to do so.
But I do not wish to stop people who do if the law allows them to carry. But my concern I am hearing those in the US who carry for the wrong reasons, also hearing cases whereby those shot a number of people before taking their own lives and wondering "how on earth have they got through the safety net"?.
It's that small number that is putting responsible gun owners at risk or in disrepute.
***** exactly
***** I'd like to add that there are now 11 million people with CCPs, and that doesn't count those in States with "Constitutional carry" who carry and don't have permits.
You must have heard the story of the shop owner who had been broken into and beaten twice. The third time he shot one of his attackers and he went to jail! God save the Queen, she has armed guards 24/7.
It's not all about the criminal element...you have those who obtained their licence legitimately, somehow that individual seem to think it's ok to shoot a couple of people before taking their own life. I do not see any problem of having a system for doing background checks before having that CWP an issue.
trevor bell Crimes committed by legal licensed concealed carry gun owners come to .008%. Don't believe the lying media.
Great vid...prior to getting my CCW I watched this video several times over as well as countless other ones on fire arm safety. Being new to ccw I found great knowledge in watching this as well as alot of nutnfancy clips. Being that I'm from CA and which being a ccw carrier has that negative connotations it wasn't easy for me to ask fellow local ccw holder questions. Thank you nutnfancy for your great insight and look forward to other future videos.
I wonder if Paris is rethinking their gun laws.
One of the most insightful videos i've seen on this topic. Will share this with a lot of ppl.
is there anyway you can do a part 2 and maybe 3? you said you could go for two hours on this. id really like to hear what else you have on the subject
What a good thorough teacher you are! Good job with the broad coverage and circumstance awareness and observation needed by all of us, open carriers, concealed carriers or PFC (poor freakin' civilian). Thanks for the great advice.
This was VERY well said Nutn. Job well done!!!!
Having been raised around guns the right way, and now owning many myself as an adult, I'm about to take my CCW course and become a carrying civilian. I recently purchased a Ruger LCP and SR9c to cover those duties, and bought both thanks to some of the insight in your series about having something you will ALWAYS carry. Thanks for putting the time and effort into putting this info out there for us.
Their are less noticeable locations on your body can carry your gun without concealing the weapon. If he Pulls a knife draw and shoot. Your life is more important then a criminals. With fist 1v1 man vs man. What happens if he twice your size and he can break your neck with a single punch or you are 80 years old and he is a young man. If he poses any kind of threat to your life you draw. Tell him to stand down or drop the weapon but only if you have the time. If he charges or attacks shoot, better him then you.
Just like the Zimmerman case. Stand your ground
but again, still better to avoid those situations at all possible. bad shit happens when you're with stupid people, in a stupid place, doing stupid shit. I try to avoid 2 out of the three at any given time.
Joshua Pape Trouble can find you quite easy. When it does you need to be prepared. Home defense is normally easier then street defense unless he set your house on fire. People shoot people trying to smash through their door and kill them all the time. The door way can become dangerous and most of the chains out their are to weak to be much a defense if he slams the door hard. You could push back and take the impact and hope he does not shoot through the door. Standing to far back and the door could hit you and knock you down. Letting a stranger into the house is also dangerous or simply opening the door. On the street most people don't even know they been knifed until to late. People who walk close to you are a possible danger. Guns only help up to a point. Avoid being taken by surprised is very important. You have random killing and hits. You could not even know someone wants you dead. A experience killer has a advantage of experience and practice. Like the gun battle between foolish anti-racists and some Nazi's. The Anti-racists did not have a chance and the Anti-racist where the aggressors. Clear self-defense. I don't remember their being a single death on the Nazi side. This also true with bats and knives. Black and Mexican gangs are normally a large threat. But the threat is not limited to Nazi. They are also a threat to anti-racists and Each other and White's. Who do you think a good chunk of them kill. Random people of a certain races.
twice your size doesn't mean twice you're height buddy, and size absolutely has helped in every fight I've ever been in or seen, but good job keeping a calm and collected answer.
Joshua Pape Width and Height makes a difference. You could hit some of those big guys with a bat and he could bite it in half then snap your neck with a single hand.
Commenting on youtube is usually a waste of time, but once in a while a brilliant well thought out video deserves some positive feedback.
You made a hard-hitting video, present the facts of being a concealed carry permit holder, and the ramifications of such. Great job and I only hope that more people listen to what you have to say.
An excellent presentation!
Very good video and very awesome info!!!! I just got my concealed weapons permit in the state of Fl yesterday. And i asked myself that same question, "Do i need to really carry a gun?" Thanks for that awesome information on judgement calls! I am new to the ccw community and i will appreciate any help and advise from all of you that know the ropes for longer time than me. I also became a member of NRA, and i plan to be an activist on conceal rights!
If I am going into a business and they have a 'gun free zone' sticker on the way in, I go somewhere else. You don't want my business because I have a gun? I'll go somewhere else. Liberals were mad, Starbucks wouldn't make their businesses 'free fire zones'.
I do understand how difficult it must be to remember to put everything you'd like in a video like this and it is impossible to say everything so I do not blame you, I just felt like I should bring it up myself, and it falls into the category of what you were saying, and that is to assess the situation, and figure out exactly what is happening. I could only imagine getting attacked, being at my absolute last option, opening fire, and being fired upon for doing so. Thank you for your time/videos.
Wow he can see into the future. Who knew Obama would screw with things he shouldn't have
Nutn, that was an awesome video. You covered all the points and responsibilities of CCW. In many ways, this is one your best videos yet. It has a lot of common sense. Keep it up!
In some states, CCW permit holders come up on the officers computer when he runs your plates. They already know you have the potential to be carrying.
Great and informative video. I am a new subscriber and first time commenting on a video. I appreciate the time you took to share your knowledge on the subject. Thanks for the Hurricane Katrina reference as that was a time of complete FUBAR. Most people can not and do not grasp how bad things can get even in an American city. Even the police were so confused they illegal disarmed and confiscated firearms from people's residences leaving them totally defenseless. Having lived through a situation of complete lawlessness, I understand the importance of being prepared (ie CCW permit). Keep up the good work.
I enjoy your videos but let me correct you on something that I always hear. While I understand the mindset of those of you who use this "Sheepdog" term for we gun carriers; when applied for my CCW permit and purchased my guns; I did those things to defend myself and "my" family NOT to become a "Sheepdog" for others!
My family's safety is my #1 priority in a hostile situation and that may mean that I get them out of the area WITHOUT ever having to pull my piece.
I remember at least 2 or 3 times during my four years there the school going into lockdown because a gunman was on the loose, not including the horrific shootings on April 16th. I don't know if it is this, the many recent public shootings, or the birth 3 weeks ago of our first child, but I have recently been preparing myself for CC. My license will come in the mail this month, but more importantly, I wanted to thank you for helping become a more educated, prepared, and responsible citizen.
Liked everything about video except the traffic stop and putting hands out the window, thats kinda weird. Turn on the dome light at night sure.
I used his traffic stop protocol and it worked great. I live in NY which is not a duty to inform state. The officer was so impressed and thankful for my actions he didn't even run my information and let me go. Cooperation and Respect go a long long way.
This video changed my life a few years ago. It makes for great movie night, and is great to send to friends and put on when you have company.
"Sheeple." Love it. Haha
I am new to CC, my plastic should arrive anyday now. I feel that I have done my due diligence learning my state laws, being aware of my surroundings, being proficient with my weapons...watching this, I could hear myself through you almost word for word. Thank you for spreading the word, sheepdog Kelly
Whoa, whoa, whoa...a fanny pack?
I may only be 15 but its amazing what i can learn from responsible adults like you. I completely agree with you that the decision to carry is a big one. You brought up some points that i probably never would have thought of, so this video definitely was kind of a wake up call for me. thank you for the videos and all that you do for this community, and just keeping things in perspective.
You are one of the most intelligent, well spoken individuals doing videos covering topics such as this on the internet.Thank you.
I thank you very much for the message that you put across. I have been pondering putting out a couple videos of my own, but every time I go to make one you have already said what I wanted say. thank you very much.
Love your videos man. Tons of good info, and you cover things others don't think about. As someone who is a newer cc guy this video provides a lot of great information, as do your gun reviews. I don't make a ton of comments but felt the need to here, just to reinforce the positive.
Very intelligent and well put video, you've earned my respect and I hope others take note.
A wonderful video. Comprehensive, informative, insightful, realistic, and most importantly: responsible. Bless TNP for the potential good a video like this can create, both for us gun-owners and the anti-gun types -- a higher level of understanding between us all, and a higher degree of safety. Respect!
watched it 4 times and it is every thing I was taught ...... it's like taking the CHL CLASS all over again and more.... its hard to cross over to the legal side but the advice is rock solid ............ thanks brother CHL
Great vid Nutn! This is taught to some extent in TX CHL classes, but there needs to be more of it and it is always a good reminder.
thaks for a great video. I learned a ton. stay motivated. I know it must be hard, but people like me really need people like you to get us thinking, and also well informed. God bless you and your family.
This is the best CC video I have ever seen. You just touch on everything and all of it is just right on the spot. Thanks for the information.
I live in Illinois, and Thank the Lord that we are finally getting closer and closer to a concealed carry state! Thank you for this video, gives a lot to think about before we make such a weighty decision! Keep up the Great Vids!!
