Hi Amelia! The white owl's name is Urho. They borrow it from Ähtäri zoo, it is in Finland. When they did this video, Urho wanted only sit, and sit, and sit. Not fly...... 😅
Yes, as someone has said previously, well done dad! Never fear Amelia, Toumas is extremely happy nowadays , blessed with a lovely wife who incidentally is in a band with him and Troy called Auri (worth checking out) and of course the best band anyone could ever wish for, NIGHTWISH!
It's a big warm hug in musical form. It brings the right kind of tears. I don't know whether you subscribe to Floor's channel, but on her latest Saturday Storytime vlog, she went back home to The Netherlands to see her family, including her old family dog. She's also started writing with Joost van den Broek, a member of her first band, After Forever. Perhaps Dad will play you some of their songs. I recommend the official video for their song "Energize Me". The picture quality isn't as good as modern video, but you can see how far Floor's come in the 20+ years she's been in the music industry.
Nice reaction again. I wish you would some day react to Nightwish "The Islander", Tampere 2015. Marko, the bearded bassist does most of the singing and playing all on his own in front of a crowd of 24 000 people. The rest of the band and Floor on vocals join him later in the song. Troy is playing some pipes or whistles I don't even know exactly. It is a very nice song and Marko sings it with a clear and beautiful voice.
I am hooked watching you react to Nightwish, you are so genuine and real. Such a beautiful young lady who appreciates the beauty in music and life. I have a request, now its not Nightwish but it's fun 80's metal. The Scorpions are so fun to watch. "Blackout" is a fun song and it ROCKS, LOL my son loved this song when he was you age. I hope you love their style as much as I do, have a wonderful day😍😎🎸
Hi Armelia, greatings from the Dark Poet one of the Nightwish Army, its so haert warming seeing the next Generation of Nightwish Fans taking on the journey to Wonderland through Nightwish Music, Tuomas there Mastermind and Composer once said " we write about the darker side of life things, so our music is full love, death and romance firlting with all of it as we need the light as mutch as the darkness...that how life is" Tuomas is mutch better know he overcame the demons of the time, of Dark Passion play, with the help of his friend Tony Kakko from sonata artica who took him on a hike in the woods and there Tuomas came to the conclusion it was better to write the Poet and the Pendulum instead of doing something stupid. So yes everyone get bette at some time but sometimes its needs a little help from friends and family and it also feels so good when you are that friend in the right moment in the right time Elan is a word for that inner drive, that unextingquishable inner flame in us, that drives us when we know we have to do something. Fun Fact: all the "old People" are actually well known finnish actors from the 50ths
DAD : VERY good idea !!!!!! This was the first studio song of Nightwish after Floor joined in, the first written for her. And for me it is kind of reflecting the athmospere of/inside the band: Alll are smiling again and have fun doing their "job", which was not the case in the last months with Anette. Greets from Germany
This is a perfect song to show the other side of life from "The Poet and The Pendulum". All about the fact that you need to get on and enjoy life - maybe a little reminder by Tuomas to himself? While the video is great, featuring many older Finnish actors who have had famous careers and possibly helping boost them into character roles, it is at live concerts that Nightwish really shine, as you've seen. I believe you will soon have the chance to experience that in person, although try not to be too disappointed if it gets delayed. The band and the fans seem to draw energy from each other, and there is a lot of interaction - I hope your dad will have you well up-to-date with all the lyrics by the then, as you'll be able to sing along. One thing I think is awesome about Nightwish is the love they have for their fans and the care they show for them - at particularly hot concerts they can often be seen distributing cold bottled water from the stage to the front few rows of fans during breaks in their performance, and doing it in person, not just asking security or road crew to do it for them. I don't know any other major band that does that regularly. Your reaction to both these two videos has been great, and you very clearly immerse yourself in each and every song, and feel the emotion flowing through each and every one of them.
This is what good music does to you, make you feel. Joy, happiness, sadness, love, melancholy, anger.. I really love angry Floor. 😀 Nightwish released a new album a couple of months ago. Perhaps you could react to one of their new songs?! Maybe Harvest (Troy sings that one) or How’s the heart or Tribal!!
cute reaction and a lot of parents could get a lot of good tips from this man on how to be a great parent :) again, kudos to the dad :) but glad you were happy with this song, this is one of my fav songs by them also, its up there in my top 10, ever dream is my number 1 :D
Love your reactions!! Maybe dad can choose "I want my tears back" from the 2018 Buenos Aires concert. In that video you can see Floor dance around on the stage. I am sure you will love it!!
Hi Amelia, maybe you will like Ayreon. Ayreon is Arjen Anthony Lukassen from the Netherlands. He is a bit of a hippy and makes Rock/Metal opera's. He asks musicians from all over the world to sing and play these operas. Good song to start with might be "Intergalactic Space Crusaders" or "Valley of the Queens".
Hello from Texas, Amelia! I really love your reactions - they make me smile and your honest, emotional response to Nightwish is wonderful And I'll let you in on a little secret - I'm a 65 year old man and Nightwish makes my eyes get a bit wet at times, too, so never be hesitant to let your emotions out - that's what music is all about! I'd love to see your reaction to the song Nightwish performed to open their Wacken concert, "Dark Chest of Wonders" - it's a very exciting song and I think you would like it a lot! (by the way, my profile photo was taken on the coast of England near Sunderland)
On the latest album Tuomas has How's The Heart, and it is his way of saying to just check with people, and give hope where you can, help when you can, and to know that it can get better, and has a little tribute to Floor, her Husband, and Freja, their daughter. Floor and Troy also did it as an acoustic version that is amazing.
😁😁 rock Queen Amelia. Nice name you have. In the Netherlands we have princess Amalia. She will become Queen Amalia, but i don 't think she will be a rock Queen like you.
Tuomas is much happier these days. He's happily married and in two bands with his friends (Nightwish and AURI) His way of dealing with depression was to put his feelings into a song and get it all out. You've only got to see the band live, or listen to the new album to see it worked.
For something just as epic as Nightwish but very different, try out the Mongolian folk metal band The HU. Specifically the songs Totem Wolf (sort of their iconic song), and Song of Women (collab with Lzzy Hale).
Well... he wasnt all happy. His long friend and drummer Jukka had to step back because of insomnia and what it was doing to his health. Tuomas was sad that he couldn't set the pace any longer. But he got a new and highly skilled drummer in Kai Hahto, while Jukka went into the management. I don't really believe you truly recover from such a thing. Often you come out stronger... but it's always good to have friends to support. The guitarist Emppu is not only a good friend but also a trusted... so after the backlash after firing Tarja, he often came by to look upon his old friend and brought in one instance the book "The pit and the pendulum" which the song is deeply inspired of. Which in many ways saved his life. He also got some bad feelings after firing Anette. But his experience by the 2005 probably made it easier to handle that situation. I'm sure he is pretty happy with where he is now with his Johanna, whom he formed the band Auri with Troy. I recommend watching this song which was taken from his "The life and times by Scrooge" (Donald Duck) More symphonic rock...ish.. but sooo lovely! ua-cam.com/video/JWwSVOo5K_k/v-deo.html
Well done dad and Amelia . . . glad you're smiling. If you are interested in what Floor does at the moment: every Saturday she has a new video (called Storytime) on her own channel. Like to see what she does when she's at home . . . . start with Storytime #1 (june, spoken in English and subtitled). See how she's living with her horses, dogs and cats: ua-cam.com/video/gNlc9JEnBjs/v-deo.html
studio versions of nightwish are good, but but as you know where the band gives their best live performances, try to react to this song in the 2018 concert performance in buenos aires, you won't regret it
You should try "Alpenglow" from the same album. It should be mentioned that the entire album has a theme. I'll leave it to you to figure out what that theme is...
Have you heard *The Warning* ? They are 3 sisters from Mexico, 20, 18, and 15 years old. This is Dull Knives, from their Queen of the Murder Scene album, a girl’s descent into madness: ua-cam.com/video/-VUCzqDyOdI/v-deo.html
Great reaction, but why not do a live performance. My problem with official videos is that take away the focus from the music, plus Nightwish is just way better live.
I just love your pure reaction. Did your ever listen to Kpop? Like the groups: G IDLE, Momoland, Twice or Black Pink. I can recommend you these Bands too. ^^
Ok so for country I would suggest Shania Twain, You don't impress me much. There are quite a few from th eat album which are fun. Poison is a fun band as well for your Rock Journey. Have fun🐕😎
"Is Tuomas still sad?"
Bless you, young lady. Empathy is exactly what we need now in this crazy world.
Hi Amelia! The white owl's name is Urho. They borrow it from Ähtäri zoo, it is in Finland. When they did this video, Urho wanted only sit, and sit, and sit. Not fly...... 😅
Well done Dad 😄😄😄😄
Another great Nightwish song that brings happy vibes is called "Alpenglow". I personally love their Wembley Arena performance.
YES! I don't see much love for Alpenglow reactionwise which is a shame cuz it's TOTALLY a feel-good song
Great way to lift the spirits!

Now you're smiling. Good stuff👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Much happier song
It's so nice to see another empath in this world that so desperately needs more.
Nice reaction again. I wish you would some day react to Nightwish "The Islander", Tampere 2015.

Tin Whistles :)
Nice to see the big smile again! After a very sad song a very happy one: that is life (after rain comes sunshine). You did fine as always.

Wow, thanks for that information. Knowing about the old people (and I am an old people too!) makes the song even happier for me.
Kudos for dad, taking care of your emotional wellbeing, ending off with a happy song.

What a lovely reaction! Another Nightwish song that really lifts my spirits is "Alpenglow" live at Wembley (or live at Tampere).
I love Elan. It always cheers me up. It’s my wife’s favourite Nightwish song.
This song is so beautiful I wanna cry everytime I sing this song.
Emilia, you are great and your dad legendary for making you listen to good music!
This people are finnish actors, everybody in Finland knows them. Nightwish did good job to take them this video.
This is what good music does to you, make you feel. Joy, happiness, sadness, love, melancholy, anger.. I really love angry Floor. 😀 Nightwish released a new album a couple of months ago. I just love your reaction. Keep up the Good work. Love from Sweden.
Another great uplifting song is My Walden (live at Tampere 2015).
cute reaction and a lot of parents could get a lot of good tips from this man on how to be a great parent :) again, kudos to the dad :) but glad you were happy with this song, this is one of my fav songs by them also, its up there in my top 10, ever dream is my number 1 :D

Great reaction, and such a wholesome song/video. I actually teared up for the old people having a great time (I know they were actors but yeah).
Hi Amelia !! You and Bella are so cute listening to Nightwish , thx for the reaction 🤘🏼💥🤘🏼
Greetings From Finland, no dislikes and 500 thumbs up (Impressive) Hope you like our number 1 band in the world :)

Elan is good medicine :)
I think you’d enjoy The Islander live at Tampere, some amazing solo time for The Wizard ☺️
Lovely reaction. A great song to pick after Poet & The Pendulum. Really enjoying following your journey Amelia. ♥
Great to see a big smile on your face Amelia - good choice Dad 🤘

@@robertcraane7910 oh haha, maybe no longer from now on
@@bert2673 I meant Amalia, not Amelia...
@@robertcraane7910 oh, haha misunderstanding. Maybe when Amalia watches this reaction channel, she will become a Nightwish fan too.
youre doing great 🤘🏻😊

I think you'd enjoy Epica - Storm the Sorrow
I think you should check out Marko a bit more. I think you'd really get a kick out of The Islander from Tampere.
You should try "Alpenglow" from the same album.
