    The new Arto - the first liner on a Mercedes Sprinter
    Exceptional design, top-notch technology and equipped with smart features - with the Arto, Niesmann+Bischoff is setting new standards in A-Class motorhomes on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis.
    The A-Class Arto is available in two layouts. The Arto 78 measures 7.82 metres in length and is a single-axle vehicle, while the Arto 88 boasts a length of 9.06 metres and a tandem-axle design. With an impressive width of 2.40 metres, the new Arto accentuates its positioning as a liner-class vehicle. The permitted total weight of the Arto 78 is a respectable 4.5 tonnes, while the tandem-axle Arto 88 has 5.5 tonnes to offer.
    What makes the Arto so unique:
    "It is the first A-Class liner on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. That has quite a few advantages to offer. The unique double floor storage area and the large garage offer an impressive 4,532 litres of storage space. Access to the storage space in the double floor and service compartments is provided through the pull-up bus flaps that are uniformly integrated into the side skirt. The Arto also has the biggest tanks in its class - 300 litres for fresh water and 200 litres for waste water, as well as an optional fixed tank toilet with a capacity of 170 litres and a fixed gas tank with 50 litres.
    These liner features for maximum self-sufficiency are completed in terms of electronics with an integrated lithium cabin battery as standard that can be upgraded up to 450 Ah. This is joined by a solar module with up to 660 watts, a MPPT solar controller, a 3,000 watt inverter and a 100 A charger.
    Yet another highlight is the Smart Caravaning Unit. The motorhome owner can use the smartphone app to monitor and control the on-board electronics at any time from near and far.
    Also new in the Arto are the integrated assistance systems from Mercedes. Adaptive cruise control, active lane departure warning system and traffic sign and drowsiness recognition offer more safety and driving comfort.

    "The interior of the Arto has also been carefully considered down to the most minute detail. Unique features such as felt wall covering provide a cosy atmosphere and natural acoustics. Open lines of sight from the cab through to the rear sleeping area and a smart lighting concept with motion sensors create a pleasant ambience. The kitchen can be customised precisely to meet individual needs. Optionally with an oven and grill, microwave and dishwasher or, alternatively, a compressor refrigerator drawer.

    Please fit wheel arch liners to stop the dirt spraying the pull out lockers.
    My 2019 arto is terrible for it.
    Longer wheel liners and maybe a very small mud flap.

    I want to know.. why for a vehicle wide 241cm, that's almost 15cm wider than its competitors..
    The front bed is way too small!
    187x127cm is unacceptable in camper-vans, let alone A-class.
    Where all that width went?! Not even cupboards around...
    And I so much loved this vehicle at first..😢
