We're glad you enjoyed it and we intend to release them more often going forward! We've got quite a few for you to check out while we work on the next one!
Great ideas. No doors on cupboards, shower or cupboard, back lights, pull out slide/bench in garage space, bike carrier are my learns from this video. Thankyou.
Looks like a nice build, would have liked to see more of the interior, how the bed slides, kitchen space, what's behind the driver door . Everything you did show was pretty sweet. Not a huge fan of the shower door.
We try to be as thorough as possible with these tours. Unfortunately, UA-cam has constraints as far as how long a video can be before the algorithm stops showing it to people. That being said, we have discussed releasing extended cuts of our tours and may start doing this in the future.
Thanks, Grant. While it may take up some of the limited space that 144 vans offer, we firmly believe that the inclusion of our shower/sauna is well worth it. It adds incredible value to the van experience
The box in the back is good for anything you don’t mind going to extreme temps, so maybe not boots for skiing is if you don’t want them crispy frozen in the morning😂
I watched this in its entirety. I would most certainly choose you guys to do my build when/if the time comes. Awsome design. Cheers from Highlands Ranch CO!
Nice fridge for the size, but no cooking options inside the van or did I miss that somewhere in the video? I know it's a custom build, but that customer is going the regret not having a standard wet bath. Pulling out the toilet to take a shower is going to get old on day one. Not a fan of how the shower closes up. Just put an RV style slider door on it. Much more practical, easier to use, and wouldn't require any more space.
The batteries we use are some of the most energy dense we have found. Meaning for the battery case size and dimensions they have very high amp hour capacities.
Checked out Monster Lithium batteries. They have internal BMS systems that would not work with our system and can only handle 150-200A continuous, which would not work with the power demands of our 3000W inverters
👍 Nice build. That wire on that outdoor fold down table is a guaranteed total spillage just waiting to happen, over and over, may not be the owner more than once but you can bet that thing is gonna' catch some hands and everything goes bye bye.
Hey there! amazing work guys ! One of the best option what we saw til today! keep rocking! We are working on our Media production / Camper van combo. We found a looot usefull ideas with your solutions. Just few questions. 1 - What is the bed size? 2 - In front area how many people can sit? It will be great if its possible to transport 3 people in total. 4 - how big is area under the bad.... actually how long is it? Is it possible to instal extra bed for teenager ? Please share some contact how we can communicate with you i we are seriously working on our idea and we would like to hire you guys, the only issue is that we are from Europe. If that is not a big deal than you have next costumer ! Cheers and keep doing outstanding vans!
From time of order our lead time is typically 4 months for a completed customized built to order van. We are a full dealership and have vans in stock but can also work with customer supplied vehicles!
While the metal walls could get warm, the stall is primarily designed as a shower, where the walls won’t reach high temperatures. There's plenty of space for most people to stand without touching the walls, especially in our Ultra 170 model. Wood would be the next alternative, but it introduces challenges like moisture damage and added weight, making metal the better choice for durability and functionality.
You’ve got the box on the back which means the driver behind cannot see the driver side light cluster. My sprinter has an Owl box on the back and it failed it’s road worthy test because of it. I had to spend a considerable amount of money getting additional leds fitted under the bumper. What is your solution to this as it is dangerous.
That’s interesting that you brought that up. I wonder if they could put it on a slide bar that would allow the box to sit above the light clusters and when needed, pull a pin/ latch and have the box slide down into an accessible position.
Yes, a 17" wheel will fit any Mercedes, if it is factory height without a lift you will nees to use a smaller tire size to compensate for the side wall height. Technically, you could fit a 20" or 22" wheel, (not that we would recommend it) it really comes down to the combination of wheel amd tire.
We build adventure vans intended for full time living but also hard outdoor use. Our aethetic is more so on the scandanavian/industrial side and we choose finishes that will hold up under extreme conditions.
not trying to be keyboard warrior here but so many inaccurate/off things ceo says lol.... bfg tko2? total knock out? 4x4 18-22? you mean 19-22... ceo should know the basics a tad better haha
Assuming the main seating your referring to is the factory Mercedes driver and passenger area? We typically do not go into any detail since this is the same on all Mercedes Sprinters.
Hard to compare the two. The Revel's quality is much lower and almost all of the systems, fresh water, grey water, and batteries on earlier models are all underneath the van. With the elevator bed in the Revel you cant store bikes inside with the bed setup. Also, no sauna in the Revel!
I’ve seen videos of these things pretty much on logging trails getting a little off camber and the computer on them or junk. The four-wheel-drive system on these Mercedes-Benz are junk. Save the money you don’t need a four-wheel-drive / all wheel drive system The computer gets confused and doesn’t know which tire put the power to. I’ve seen so many these vans having to get rescued and the terrain Not even that bad something to think about before you spend a few hundred grand ain’t gonna take you anywhere special. America 🇺🇸 💪🏼🦅
And let’s not mention they’re super top-heavy I own a camper van a 2023, pro master extended 3500 but there’s no way I would take it off road even if it had the all wheel Drive system. I grew up in Alaska I built all my 4 x 4‘s, just think head before you put yourself in a sticky situation people stay safe let’s vote RED let’s make America great again for the American people and our children🇺🇸💪🏼🦅

as a finn im legally obligated to watch if it has a sauna

Insane build. I am a sauna lover/skier and that’s the first shower I could see making sense for me in a 144.

Thanks so much for watching! Feel free to stop by if your ever in the neighborhood!
I got excited about the sauna so I clicked. But really nice conversion
Those metal pieces in the floor of the shower 😱😱
Wow, it looks good.

Need to look at monster lithium trolling motor batteries! They are boat batteries we use for our trolling motors. high amp hrs.

appreciate the information density!
Thanks, Raj! We try to offer as much information as we can about our builds when filming these van tours.
After spending three weeks in a van. I can't imagine not having a shower/toilet in a van.
Everyone is different, toilets amd showers are great bit many customers prefer more space over an interior shower.
This review should had been done while on the road on a trip being used in real time. Nice van non the less.
This was custom built van for a customer. We do these tours before we deliver and want to ensure they are fresh and clean!
@@TitanVans I get it.

Love this build.
Thanks for watching!
Nice one.
The build looks awesome. I poked around on your website. Do you guys sell the shower stall as a product/system?
Thanks for watching! No the shower is something we produce for our production department only.
I love the sauna idea but I feel like the metal walls in the shower are a bad idea. If you've ever touched metal in a sauna you'll know why.
Yes metal is not ideal for the sauna function but necessary for the shower, storage, and drying abilities.
Are you guys coming to the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon 😊?
Nice.. How does the bed work in this unit..? NS/EW? Does it slide or is it all fixed..? Mattress size(?)
Queen size mattress, sleeps perpendicular, and utilizes our Titan Bi-slide bed system. A telescoping aluminum bed platform.

Won’t you get burned if you touch the walls of the sauna since they’re made of metal?

hello, awesome but the weight ? 9500 lbs ?
Our Ultra 144 comes in around 8800 lbs depending on options.

Hi Titans, you’ve obviously put a lot of thought in this design. Well done! I’m curious, what software do you guys use to design the vans?
A variety of softwares but specifically for cabinets and layout we use Fusion 360.
I need to know both US and ZA electrical codes.

What is the door cargo box and hinge rack on the rear door? I need that on my van for sure.
Box and mount are made by Owl vans.

Don't worry, It's protected by more than just Avonite.

Nice build what's the interior height of the shower? I'm sorry if I missed it
74" at mixes, though it curves to 71" at the back.
