I keep forgetting that Toxrill has that blue color identity! This adds him to the very small list of Dimir commanders that aren't about milling and I'm all for it
Good content. Been brewing this guy for a while, but couldn't nail down what specifically I wanted to do. Really happy you use powerful cards with the stipulation of downgrading to budget alternatives. Going to brew upon your list.
Thanks! Glad it was helpful! Thanks you for acknowledging how I make my decks and present them. Not many people appreciate that decks can run good cards but also the fact that budget substitutes are always an option.
Built your Archelos deck...never went off or played out the way it should have in 15 or so games...always hated off the table in my playgroup. Had to dismantle it.
I know! It was something that totally slipped my mind when I brewed the deck. Even when I was testing it out on Cockatrice I never remembered Sludge Monster. None of my opponents suggested it either each time I played. I wonder why XD
@@TheCommanderTavern he’s similar to kels fight fixer, he’s essentially the wincon, so I don’t need to cast him until I have infinite mana. If I do it’s because I just want to control the board if it gets too creature heavy or staxy . In cedh your commander gotta either draw you cards or be a win con so at least he fulfills that role and kinda draws cards worst case scenario. But dimir is strong since it has such easy win cons and protection
@@koreyg8552 Hm, yeah, I guess I can see it. You can run the best UB shells in cEDH and just have one of your wincons right in the command zone when you get the infinite mana plus the interaction to protect it. I see it now.

Yup! Glad we're drifting away from the stereotype. Same with RW commanders not focused around combat.
Run every "free" counterspell you can in this deck.
Yup, they're all in here. Toxrill is too expensive to not have backup after casting.

That's sad. Archelos isn't even that busted or oppressive. That's some true hate.
You forgot the best way yo get more end step triggers. Extra turn spells!!
Lol! Definitely!
To everyone who wanted to play dimir Konrad.
Here you go haha
I know, right!? The power of blue >:D
No sludge monster? The same token toxrill puts on creatures makes them 2/2s with no abilities.
Sounds like a big synergy to me!

He’s a infinite mana outlet, built a cedh viable version. It’s an black and blue so easy build
That seems interesting. But he's a bit hefty at 7 mana to cast. How viable is it for cEDH?
