    Non tangible rewards - Appreciation emails, recognition about associate efforts by senior management definitely will be effective..

    Non tangible - Onsite opportunities (even short term) can be provided to the deserving team members. So that they can feel satisfied and thus can be retained in the team for long term. This is the one of the big expectations of people; from projects these days.

    Non-tangible rewards such as respect, honor, appreciation, being treated fairly and justly , justice, faithfulness, honesty etc do a much better job than purely cheap physical gifts or money gifts. They did not carry much meaning, purpose and impact on the individuals receiving them.
