I'd like to buy this bike. I love to ride mountains but I also like riding on the flat. Do you think this bike is completely inadequate for flat riding as it's monocrown?
thanks for the review. i wonder what is the difference between this and the Scale 940? the Scott Scale series seems to be really nice bikes. I'm thinking of buying a Scale and have been looking at the 940. What I would upgrade is light weight handlebar and stem and carbon wheels, saves some weight and would make the bike even more fun to ride.
The scott bikes are great. And at the higer end alu bikes. Its weight and specs here and there. Nice thing about scott bikes. The frames are high quality and so compliment the right upgrades. Let me know what you buy.
i think i am gonna buy the same bike but i am wondering if brown tires look good on this thing.
Yessssss please. I love the tan wall tyres. Do it. Get in touch on instagram and send me n photo when you did the tyres

I love the chatting part. Thanks to you
Your biggest issue with the bike seems to be the colour😂 Think I'm gonna grab one of those😉 Thanx for the review👍
Hehe. Its the only thing I could find on the bike. Its actually amazing. Let me know what you think
@@RuanvanderLinde It's reserved at the local store, picking it up tomorrow😃
@@MotoMace congrats. Enjoy the bike
I’ve got it, I don’t mind that it’s heavy given I’m 140kg 6ft4 dude. I wonder what fork I should upgrade it too.
Thanks for the comment. In my opinion , Something like a Rock Shock Judy will be perfect.
Top review. Great motivation.

There is absolutely nothing wromg with the bike. And I think its capable of al lot. Should be perfect for riding various terrains
@@RuanvanderLinde thank you! . I was afraid to be in the situation to have to move too much legs in the flat like a kitchen mixer
No. I also had that pain on the bike Ive got now. Just changed the chainring to a 36T
@@RuanvanderLinde thank you
Nice video
It's this bike can change to 34 or 36 chainring...??
Yes. It should be able to. Just look at the offset you will need.
Good review but we don't need to know if you like the colour or not !!! Are you sure that"s a coil sping fork ??!!
Just worked on one again. 100% coil fork.
Do you have a Dutch or German accent mixed with Australian?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Im Afrikaans. Working very hard on my english. I need to talk slower at times 😂😂
Cool video! Van der Linde is very common Dutch name, guess Afrikaans too😉
Hahaha. I've heard it comes around in Dutch quite often. Thanks for the comment.
Neerlands I think! Van der ...
Haha. Im from SA. Afrikaans.
Mate, great review! quick question, the SRSuntour XCR is an air?
Yes. Was air suspension. Really not a bad fork. Just feel for the price they could have put a rock shock on it.
@@RuanvanderLinde probably, but for a couple of dollars you can have a 970, with a rock shock
Thats true. Keeping all the price brackets available for the clients
It has a rebound adjust nob so it's most likely an air fork !
Are those rims tubless ready?
Rims are double wall. Tubeless compatible , so just need tubeless tape, valve and you are ready to go
I am really considering this bike. The suntour rrally turns me off.
Even a judy would hav been nice
Exactly what I would put on the bike. But still a great bike. Let me know if you buy it.
The 1x12 deore is really great at this price point. Yellow colour is in stock. I think its better than this metallic one.
Havent seen the yellow one in person , but I am one for something that not everyone's got
It was a good bike I have... awesome...
It is great bikes

Have a look at the 965 it has all the upgrades you mentioned with a small price difference, except for the color
Hi. Great. I will look into it. Thanks so much for the feedback.
Is it possible to install dropper seat post internal cabling on that model?
