I started with the Mini 3, have two of them, and am doing the unboxing of a new Mini 4 Pro FlyMore Plus I just got. The obstacles avoidance is the primary option I needed to get and have, and of course that having multi use batteries adds so much. (I number them to keep organized.) The blade guards I used during my learning experience as it increases the weight, decreases battery time of course. Can’t wait to fly, and thanks so much for the great energized post!

Hi Billy great video. I have the mini 2 which is still a great little drone but I would love to someday upgrade to the mini 4 simply because of the omnidirectional sensors and the vertical camera view plus all the extras it has to offer. Hopefully I can purchase one in the near future.
Billy, I live in Orlando and know exactly where you are haha. I live about 2 miles away from where you flew on the direct other side of the city. It’s unfortunate however, I have to unluck airspace every time I fly which is unfortunate. I know you were right by a hospital with a helicopter pad, so you use the LAANC app for clearance? Love from Orlando and hope you enjoy your visit!

What's the purpose of the unboxing videos? Before they purchase it, they have the ability to see what comes in the box. Is it so they can pretend that it's themselves that just purchased it and are opening it for the first time?
I still love my mini 2 because I have to fly it with no safety precautions on the drone. The one thing I would have liked for it was controller with built in screen. Didn't think mini pro 3 was worth the upgrade, but now, I think it's time to bite the bullet & upgrade. Shame theirs's not much of a resale value for the mini 2.

I don’t think I’m going to upgrade from the Mini 3 Pro. I also just purchased the Avata, so new drone funds are a little low. 😄 I’ll be posting a video on my channel soon discussing my final decision and the features that really had me considering the upgrade!
I made it a third of the way through and, "WHAT - NO CHARGER?" Now, I'm not sure if this situation occurs with the MINI 3 Pro but 'WHATEVER'...that's a ripoff. I miss my MINI 3 Pro, I sold it to get the Classic(waypoints). I miss the tininess of the MINI series. Now selling the Classic(since I got the Mavic Pro 3) to get the Mini 4 Pro. I know...I'm a mess. HAHA. As usual...top notch video review.
Just wondering how you still get ISO 200 and lower shutter speeds in auto camera settings under daylight time exposure. Have you put an ND filter on camera? Maybe 64? Great little drone at a first glance 👍

Unfortunately my processing speed is not up to Billy's pace of speech and I have difficulty keeping up with the flow of his videos at normal speed. I have to set the playback speed to .75 just to keep my attention. Don't get me wrong, I do find Billy's videos a great source of information and entertainment, it's just at normal speed all I hear is babble. 🙂
CORRECTION: The mini 3 and 4 series are actually not the same battery, the plus battery is still the same thing, but the 249 gram battery that comes with the mini 4 will actually be a few grams lighter than the mini 3 series battery, with slightly less capacity. You could still use any of the batteries with any of the mini 3 and 4 series, and both will fly normally, but using the mini 3 series battery withe the mini 4 will put it slightly over 250 grams.
I passed on the Mavic Air 3. But I was very impressed with the Tracking and battery length as well as the range. Just gave my Mini SE away to a very deserving 12year old son of a friend of mine. So while I have always liked the sub 249g form factor, it was time for an upgrade. Ordered it today. Very impressed with the footage in this video, BK. And you want hot? Come to Houston. We reside in a special corner of Hell.
while the drone is impressive in sport mode, still can't compete with the Billy Kyle talking speed.
