Genuinely one of the best videos I’ve seen. You should make a video on Various softwares and manufacturing techniques involved with cad. Keep up the great work
The breakdown of how you did this video was great. I'm preparing for a interview and this video really gave me insight on CAD, what it is and it's use. Really appreciate this!
Thank you! What a fantastic and engaging explainer video for CAD. My 13 y/o brother was saying he was interested in going down the architecture route, and I explained to him that he would need to learn how to use CAD software. Perfect video!
Kudos to you for making such an amazing video on CAD and I am awestruck and inspired by your work. Thanks a lot for sharing this, this is the way people should be taught about CAD.
Great vid. I have worked with CAD for nearly 20 years now but it was really good to sit back and be reminded of the many possibilities and what got me interested in CAD in the first place. Nice magic 3D print from the laptop screen too :-D
Awesome vid bro!! Did CAD in HS now I’m going to 2yr college for it, this got me so much more excited to start the journey of learning it all over again and to use it for my future projects!
Excellent video with plenty of examples. When learning many fields of engineering, tutors don't often give you a bigger picture of what their particular discipline is used for, which makes it hard to decide on a career
It is Computer Aided Design but Drawing can also be used. This was made during COVID and I was trying to keep it super simple for my students. In hindsight I wish I used Design now.
It went through a couple of name changes, before COVID. Computer Aided Drafting then Computer Aided Drafting & Design then Computer Aided Design. Never Drawing.
@@maxfranciscorbett2183i have a question i hope you will see this comment! My question is do you have to be educated or knowledgeable in mechanical or electrical engineering to be able to work as a cad technician or drafter?

When did Computer Aided Design (CAD) become Computer Aided Drawing ? or you just coined it yourself ( I mean 3D printed in your brain) 🙂
🤣🤣🤣

Respect. I don't even know where to begin. Just want an idea of what CAD is. Thanks.

Bro, so cool!
Awesome
THAT, was good. Thank you.
Awesome video!❤
underated thanks
❤😂awaome mam
I see blender being used. That isn't really considered a CAD software, right?!
Anytime a computer helps you design and make something it is CAD. Blender, Fusion, TinkerCAD, even Illustrator can be used to help design something.
