    I, for one cannot understand how most would not know that personalization means data collection/surveillance. Good lord what are people thinking????? It might help to differentiate what platforms. For instance I accept youtube/google tracking what I watch for my algorithm. Almost everything else I do not prefer it. I would prefer news and other things to be universal instead of individualized. But when single companies control so many different feeds it's all a wash.
