Webfishing and Minecraft are such a fitting pair to go together. Both are chill vibes that require nothing of the player except what they are intrinsically motivated to accomplish, providing no explicit narrative or end goals to reach in order to reach a state of completion. The result in both cases is relatively low stress, unrestricted agency, and self-determined meaning in one's own experience. Hearing the nostalgic songs of one within the engine of another just feels right.
This came on just as the lobby I was in closed (its like midnight and we were all tired lol). Somehow, this cover recontextualizes the whole song for me. Instead of a sign of a better time we can never return to, its a new version to signify the new friends and new memories we can make now. Unfortunately, these friends can come and go, but you still had fun with them. Its like when your parents took you to the park or you were traveling or something and you start playing with someone else and make friends with them, but you know you're probably never going to see that person again. I think the wind and waves in the background just accentuate this. Its very similar, but this is new. You know it almost by heart, but its ever so slightly different. I know this is getting kinda rambley but I don't often get motivated to write this much about something. Thank you, Intervert. idk why this furry fishing game cover of a song from the funny block game hit me so hard, but it did.

@@probablyintervert Hey man, it's hard to believe with all of these people using midi inputs/scripts for this. I really want to believe you, but I guess I need proof nowadays to really know. hope you're speaking the truth because that makes this really really cool
@@daveslamjamI have now looked at the midi's of Sweden that are available, and it's hard to tell, but I guess you're right. @@Funky.S is right, this is by hand! The guitar system is built for chords, so it's a bit of a nightmare trying to set up chords that also let you play the melody.
