I love how everyone forgets that his whole "Presentation" thing was all pulled off by Minion. Not Megamind. Though, Megamind was probably the brains behind it.
i didn't know how to feel about that revelation the first time it hit me, because "PRESENTATION!" is such a fucking iconic moment, but seeing all the lengths minion goes to to save megamind's (ex) girlfriend, their dating inadvertently being the thing that drives a wedge between them, and going all in right behind megamind in his quest to redeem himself and be a hero... that's good character shit right there. it makes me love minion even more.
It's kinda both. The subtitles refer to him as "Titan" up until he uses his heat vision to write "Tightenville" on the city, and they refer to him as "Tighten" after that. The credits and promotional materials for the movie (posters, art book) also refer to him as "Tighten."
Also, right before Titan (or Tighten, whatever) breaks out, the head starts looking confused and you can see bulges forming on the cheeks, as if Titan's trying to force his way out.
And we later find out that it is actually Minion who says that. Another sign of their strong friendship and the respect he has for him. Also "well, that makes one of us"
Let’s be honest everyone: If any of us had access to Megamind’s tech, we wouldn’t use it to become a superhero, supervillain, solve world hunger, give it to the military, or even patent it. We’d all use it to make this kind of entrance wherever we go

Presentation *IS* important. And a big spectacular light show that includes “welcome to the jungle” and a bunch of tiny robots forming a giant version of your head is one hell of a presentation.
I felt for big blue. He actually tried to be good as a kid, yet always failed. So he became bad and was really good at it. Plus, he was always rejected and laughed at. I believe these are contributing factors to his Villiany. He still became good in the end ever since pretending to be good and dating Roxanne. So that counts too.

This scene always gets me. Goosebumps everywhere. It gets me giddy. It's perfect. I always wish the actual superhero-movies would have more of these moments :'-).
I regret not watching this movie sooner. The advertisements did not do the movie justice. This is one of the best fight scenes I've seen!!! Also the fact that the hero has the logical and sneaky style of a villain and the villain is powerful and emotional like hero sort of made this fight more epic. It's sort of like Lex Luther becoming good and fighting Brightburn.
