Can I install this in my 21 pioneer 1000-5 LE? Pretty much same set up right?

What’s your opinion on Highlifter discontinuing the Outlaw 1 and potentially the Outlaw 2 and 3 in favor of the Outlaw Max. My wheel and tire setup guy said they are all being discontinued. I called highlifter themselves and the lady told me that the Outlaw 1’s are discontinuing for sure. the 31x9.5x14 are no longer even on the website.

Aztex are better and cheaper anyway

Are the Aztexs’s good for creek riding? I ride a lot of shallow creeks with mainly sand and rock bottoms and lots of sand bars. Occasionally some clay going in and out on the trails. Most tires seem to just want to dig down especially silverbacks and outlaw 2’s.

Pioneer 1000's I-4wd does not use a electric clutch and these switches don't work on a pioneer 1000. Only Talon. Pioneer is engaged by a cable.

Good to know. I've never messed with a pioneer I four-wheel drive about the last thing I would ever do is give up a real locker lol

@@MudPuppyOffroad Yes, I just got off the phone with Glen Hess. I let him know and they removed the pioneer option off the website. There is a lot of confusion on these. But they still use a cable not a electric clutch.

@@scottalvarez-k2n I think it's pretty clear that you in Honda is confused. I don't know why they're still making a pioneer without a front diff lock when that cable walker system works phenomenal

@@MudPuppyOffroad the Pioneer 1000 is still made with selectable front and rear differentials just like the older ones. Just not in the ones with I-4WD. Those front differentials are different but still don't utilize a electric clutch to engage it is done by a cable. I think the whole I-4wd system in talons as well should have never been made. It should have stayed like the original set up and what the new deluxe and Base models have. I think it is the higher priced ones Trail and Forest that have the I-4wd.

@@scottalvarez-k2n yeah I know I have a 2022 with a real front locker. Honda keeps trying to idiot proof everything and watering down performance
