- A Lesser known Iconic Scottish Mountain!
Many may never have heard of this mountain but IMHO it sits right up there with some of the best mountains in Scotland. I wanted to keep this for a good day, but with this in mind, I wasn't sure if I had made the right decision to go today as the weather forecast was all over the place.....

A super film Murray. Probably the most rewarding trio of Corbetts with a fairly high start/finish to boot
Checking through your older videos out for a wee wander tomorrow. I now realise I might not do the whole lot with two dogs in tow, thanks for sharing
Murray, your superb video shows Quinag in all its majesty. I hadn't done it in snow - but it looks even more elegant and more daunting. For anyone unfamiliar with the far north-west of Scotland, I urge you to seek out images of Quinag with the Kylesku bridge in the foreground. It's one of Scotland's many breathtaking views.
Steaming Boots TV never disappoints....Great footage again chaps......😮😮😮😊
Absolute treasure.! love your videos. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I am fortunate I live in Scotland.
thank you - very much appreciated
we really do live in a wonderful part of the world :)

Fantastic as always. Nothing better on a cold winters day than watching Murray's vids with a nice bottle of Glengoyne teapot dram 007 & some Green & Blacks chocolate, perfect.
I visited Scotland and specially the Highlands last Year over Christmas and NYE. I fell in love immediately with this wonderful place on earth. I found your Channel randomly on YT and i have to say i really appreciate your videos. Simply and beautiful at the same time. Thank You ! :) I am looking forward to return to Scotland. Best regards from Germany
Wonderful video. Been up Quinag a couple of times in the summer, the first time it was so windy we couldn’t stand up on top, the second time it was so sunny and warm we stayed on top for two hours sunbathing with views to die for. Happy memories.
Absolutely breathtaking; thank you for taking us there. 😀
Awesome as usual. Many thanks
Always brightens my day when I see a video from you!

I can’t do heights...so I’ll let you take me on theses rocky ventures;that plank bit had sent my legs going to jelly lol.
You certainly got a head for heights.

another great video , heading up to the area this weekend to tackle the 3 summits ..views look ace 👌
A great adventure Murray - thanks for taking us along with you. When you 'walked the plank' I was screaming "Noooooooooooo!!!" at the screen - ha ha ha! I was looking to see if you had the crampons on for it but I don't think so. I think it might have been a hands and knees job for me, ha ha! All the best!
Assynt rocks. Ben More Assynt is my favourite of all Scotland's mountains.
Quinag was engulfed in mist when I went up there some time ago, but it was still amazing.
Here's to another grand year in the hills Murray!
Pretty Great climb up to Quinag. Done it myslef A few years ago in the summer then desended off the back then walked through a pretty terrible bog back to the road! good times.
I have just stumbled onto your films Murray and like pretty well everyone, I am well impressed with the quality of your productions - very professional, well done indeed. I look forward to a lot of viewing following your other exploits around Scotland - my wife and I have just moved to reside in the Torridon area (you can't imagine why!) and with Munro's 'compleat' we are looking forward to days such as these on the many wonderful other mountains especially here in the North-West, that are far superior to many a dour Munro! Keep the films coming please, they are terrific!
Top Cat hi TC - welcome to the channel - really hope you enjoy the vlogs - however you can just look out of your window to get a fix of the Scottish Mountains - super jealous of you new location - hope you settle in well and enjoy those magnificent mountains (literally ) on your doorstep :)

Bloody hell, Murray. A hot tub! What’s things coming to 😆😜. It did look lush tho 😁. Cracking trilogy, loved it. Great effort. That last walk looked a tough one. The walk out on to the precipice looked well 😳😳😳. Ace though and a great inspirational start to 2020. Thank you 🙏🏻
Thanks David - must admit the hot tub was a welcome luxury on this trip :) a bit different from the dark dank cave and cramped car! lol

Such a brilliant watch Murray despite the virtual queasy legs moment on the plank section!!!

Great stuff Murray, I got a bit of vertigo there for a while on that “plank.” Great way to start the new year, thanks! Suggestion: maybe on one of your vlogs you could give us some definitions of some of these terms for the peaks.
Thoroughly enjoyed that festive trilogy. Looking forward to seeing more adventures in 2020. Best vlogger on YT 👌

@@ScotlandsMountains Thanks mate :)
Wonderful! Beautiful mountains without forests - far in sight. Our mountains are covered with oak forest - nothing can be seen :(
Lovely z Happy New Year Murray, Barrie
Great video, sad I won't be able to get to Scotland before the snow melts!
Last March I was doing a walk near Lochinvar, and saw the Quinag on the horizon. I said "What's that?" - and then made up my mind to climb it. I probably won't do it in snow, though from your video it does look spectacular.
Could see the salmon farm i work on when you were doing your last piece to camera! Awesome mountain!
Your editing is superb matey 👌🏻 it's like watching a proper documentary on Discovery channel ... all these areas you visit are my favourite places ... outstanding beauty

I am in awe of your skills as a walker, photographer and movie maker. Well done, as always. I have wanted to walk this mountain ever since I saw it many moons ago. I have even passed it on my cycling trip around the top of Scotland a few years ago. I am getting on in years now but I will get up there one day but in the summer months. I also enjoy viewing your photos on Flickr. All the best to you for a great 2020.
Hi - Thank you - Quinag is well worth the effort - hope you get up there when you get back to Assynt

Me at 9 minutes: I’ll just crawl across the ridge on my hands and knees, if you don’t mind.
Me at 12 minutes: I think it’s important that I establish a base camp - back at the pod. {runs off the mountain}
