    Molly, thanks for posting this video. I'm enjoying watching Ray working on the farm. We were classmates in high school and graduated together in '73 from LHS. We didn't hang together, but I remember him as being a really good guy.

    All you youngsters watching this video, did you see Shane hand over the knife in the correct way when he was cutting a strap to Molly. If you ever really want to clean the seat upholstery, I've been using a product called Tuff Stuff for a few years, found it in South Hill, Va. I mean it pulls out so much stuff I never imagined would be in those seats! Great video!

    My grandfather had a little John Deere lawnmower that was his pride and joy. I guess when he drove it he felt like he was driving something more like yours. I got into such trouble one time for putting it away dirty after using it to move some stuff around his orchard, he was so upset I got dirt all over the foot rests and back end. After that I made sure to keep it clean.
    I don’t blame him for being upset, he built a nice retirement home on 5 acres with an orchard and garden that gave the whole family many wonderful memories. My grandmother was a trained botanist and knew how to coax the smallest seedlings into giants that produced the most delicious edibles. I swear we grew up eating blackberries the size of small birds. Tangerines whose peels just fell off. Carrots a foot long and as big around as a shovel handle but so sweet. The apricot was a work of art, umbrella shaped and produced the most amazing fruits. The figs were the stuff of legend. And the persimmons made the finest jams, pies, and cookies. That’s just the short list… one day I hope to recreate it for my family and friends.
    Hope those yellow potatoes were tasty! Cheers!

    You know you can,and probably should take that floor mat out of the cab. I used to do that with our 4440 in the fall before we put it up for the winter. It sold at the auction for $3000.00 more than the original price new.

    Great work getting the hood all done. Any more potato cooking vids on the horizon? Baked? Waffle? Roasted? Would love to see your favourites (if you have any!).

    I bet that tractor hood wasn't cheap

    • @BellsFarming
      @BellsFarming  27 днів тому

      No it wasn't! but it was a used tractor we bought a few years ago, maybe 3 years ago. and it came with the hood cracked like that. it progressively got worse each time we opened it. after using the tractor for a few years, it was time to upgrade the hood. It is a really good tractor.

    Your John Deere sounds like ours. The AC works when it feels like it. Usually we have to go through the AC every year.
    That hood is toooo shiny.

      Hopefully it’s good now. The new radiator Shane put in last year really smartened it up. I put a new radio and speakers 🔊 in yesterday :) I’ll be styling this year!

    From Australia. Good Golly Miss Molly, You certainly fill those jeans out nicely. Question, how is the Maple Syrup harvesting going please. We don't really have the climate to produce Maple Syrup and I think most of ours is imported from Canada and the US.

    I'll bet that hoods are expensive because they are made one at a time not mass produced, heavy and complicated. Too bad it didn't come with all the bits and pieces but at least you still had yours from the old one.

      I think you’re right about the production on these. Thank you for watching :)
