Cleetus has absolutely been one of the greatest asset to the growth of interest in drag racing.
Before I found Cleet a few years ago I couldn’t tell you what a 60 foot was. Now I’m watching every second of Sick Week and loving every minute
He has definitely raised my interest in the sport. And we (Australia) appreciate him taking our burnout competitions to America and showing the yanks how to do a real burnout

Yeah I think the biggest thing he did was make racing approachable for folks who maybe otherwise would not go to a race, build a car, or watch a race or other motorsport event.

Bradenton Motorsports Park, The Freedom Factory and ol’ Cleet McSkeeter’s shop seem to have a gravitational pull stronger than the sun when it comes to attracting cool events and even cooler people. A fuel car? On a chassis dyno?!?
This is lunacy, and I’m here for it.
The fact that Rick Ware, Clay and Jimmo were willing to drag their only car down the road to even attempt this craziness speaks volumes to their generosity.
I’ve seen Lutz’s video, Garrett’s video, and now Clay’s, and to be honest, this one is my favorite of the three, just because where else are you gonna see legends like Clay, Lutz, and Antron Freakin’ BROWN just shootin’ the bull, and brainstorming on how to actually make a dyno pull on a nitro car work!!😂😂
Now we want more! An old chassis with worn out tires and a little work to get it on the burnout pad... Wildest donuts ever.

Even though putting it on the dyno didn't work the fact that Rick Ware even let them try is so awesome and one of the coolest things I have ever seen. If this had actually worked I truly think this would have broken not only the dyno but UA-cam and the Internet would have broken as well

You will they're going to bring a spare car there next time they're in town.. this is the only car they have right now for the $250,000 winner take all race at Bradenton they can't mess it up before this week end and it was bouncing too much to chance..

Dyno is only good for 4000hp if I remember correctly. Kinda doubt it would hook, as mullet can make 4000 yet he's only put 1500 down on the Dyno.
@@leftyeh6495 the Dyno is only good for 3500 and in the video they stated that they would have a throttle stop on so the engine would only rev as high as it normally does on a burn out which is the butterflies opening 1/8 of an inch

You can tell Jimbo and the crew guys are not in the mood but I don't know if they realize this one video is going to shoot them up to the top over anyone else in the nhra on UA-cam and Facebook that's the power of Cleetus! But Clay and I bet Rick was all for it in fact you know they both had to be for it or it wouldn't have happened this is smart and the only team making moves like this!

Just serious people being serious about their job. They're probably fun when there's not a car involved, but they're good because they hate screwing around.
I'm sure they are all having fun, the look you see on their faces is just pure focus. They are very professional and going to be very serious when it comes to their jobs, no matter if its just messing around in a shop, or heading to the finals.
I never thought I'd see the day but this was freaking awesome, if you've never been to a race & seen what this pit crew can do & then get to hear/feel/see witness all 12,000 horsepower unleashed in all its glory , than I promise you (and anyone that's ever been ) that you have not lived 🤘& that's just one car 🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@johngreene2508Seeing, feeling, smelling, a Top Fuel Dragster (and or Top Fuel Funny Car) start, and do throttle wacks in the pits is pretty damn cool, but being up at the starting line when a pair of these Nitro burning monsters fire up, do there burnouts and then line up and make a pass is an experience that everyone needs to experience.

I've watched all 3 channels on this event, Cleatus, PFI, and yours and what I have to comment on is how the team handles, works on, moves, attends to the car. Even in this unconventional scenario they don't miss a beat. No one is yelling, they are just doing and know what everyone else is doing. The unveiling of the skins and bam one guy drops it on while the other screws in the screw. Its one thing to see it in the pits when it has been done over and over but this is an abnormal situation. Stomp on it Clay! Hope to meet you in Charlotte at the 4 wide nationals

I got to be on the starting line for Blue Max (My favorite old school funny car) on my 45th birthday. I had a sinus infection before that. One cylinder on the Left bank stopped firing at Idle after the burnout. We thought it started sprinkling for a second. That was about the time we started feeling the burn! I have never in my life seen so much snot in such a short time!!! It knocked that sinus infection out better than any antibiotics ever thought of!!! So, to me, Nitro is basically a health regimen! 😂🦅🏁

I’m telling you those cars are just absolutely unbelievably powerful. I think everybody should experience that once in their lifetime, I live real close to national trails in Kirkersville outside Columbus, Ohio and I’ll never forget going to the spring nationals. I had pit passes from cruise Pedregon truly, was a bucket list thing And the weekend ended with me getting my 85 Monte Carlo SS stuck in the mud great weekend
I watched Brents first, I will get a watch of Cleet`s later, even though we will see the same things, the way its filmed and bought to us makes it worth watching 3 times.
I honestly don´t think I really understood how crazy this was after watching Cleetus´s video but watching this I´m starting to realize this is insane...
Shout out to Clays crew in my opinion of why they didn’t look happy is because this is there job and that car doesn’t get them all horned up like it does the boys they get to be around it all day. That was awesome. There is nothing like being that close while one of those engines is running, much less a throttle whack. The pressure that they put off is something you just can't describe. Those guys will remember that day for the rest of their life.

I wondered how on earth are you going to get 11,000 HP out of a top fuel car and not bend the chasis, like it did last season and a new one got built in record time to stay in the running. It was a spectacle though and involved the whole family to do it. How great it was to see Brent, one of the loveliest guys in the industry. I missed Francis (Fasterproms), but hey I'm sure he caught up from the video. That was incredible, thanks :)
