  • Tom Jacobs died quite unexpectedly this week.
    We'd been friends since 1970.
He was a passionate guitarist and recording engineer.
Tom forged his own path and I will miss him.
    Gone far too soon.
I pray he rests peacefully in Eternity.
Please take care of yourselves out there.

Constant ringing sound like a piano. Great technique and very meditative music as well. I appreciated that video in which you showed us how you compose these things also. Thank you sir.

I love the patient development in this one. Gorgeous, poignant work. I found 1:00-1:08 and the higher octave repetition especially moving. Thanks for sharing. I'm sorry for your loss.

We are here for such a short time, relatively speaking. My musical endeavors are all encapsulated in the handle of “Time Remaining” for this very reason. Honoring those who are no longer with us is a reminder to also “honor necessity”, and realize the only truth we have is really… love. And the aim to create.

Sorry for your loss, a beautiful hommage. Intense feeling in this, with passion like a barren spanish landscape or something. Beautiful the way the piece evolves and flows out of the basic motif.

An inspiring piece and a thoughtful tribute. I can’t help but hear the echo of a Japanese Koto.
