It was 4-4-2024 and I had to do 4 things! Mom wanted to see some bluebonnets and I’m always hungry, so we went up to Brenham for some bbq, a museum, ice cream, and a park!

Yay you had beautiful weather for a change..how far is Brenham from Houston? Omg, that bbq looked delish! The post office was very cool...what is your favorite ice cream, mine is Carvel..but actual ice cream shops are back East.the Baylor park was very nice..I like the smell of fresh cut grass..glad you had a good time with your mom. Another epic adventure!!
Thanks so much! Brenham is about an hour and a half from my house, so not far at all. It took longer to get back because of traffic. Bbq places that are on Texas Monthly Top 50 are the real deal! I was surprised with how cool that little museum was. Definitely a hidden gem! My go to Ice Cream is Ben & Jerry’s, but I honestly don’t eat a lot because it can make me gassy. We went to that park because we expected lots of bluebonnets and didn’t want to violate someone’s private property. I’m glad me and Mom had another great adventure together! I’m also glad you enjoyed it!

I had to go to Brenham, Texas that summer we stayed in Houston at the AirBnB of Horrors! We had to go there to get Jamey’s Social Security Card at the Social Security Office since my TXDL address is my Grandpa’s in Waller, Texas! We went to the Blue Bell Factory. Huzzah!
I’m glad! I can’t believe I never went there until today. I know you’re a Blue Bell loyalist. I edited out my thoughts about them. The ice cream there was better than at the store. 🏬
@@RobbZipp Ever since the Listeria outbreak they’ve been super strict about people taking video/photos of the actual factory floor! I tried to sneak a video when we went but they were watching like hawks!
@@wackyruss yikes. I was annoyed that they closed it at 2 PM when Google said it was open until 5 PM. We need to try next time!
@RobbZipp I was disappointed too but it's kind of my fault we got there late.

@@RobbZipp I’ll keep you updated. I’m flying to DC area June 16th. We have our Dodge Caravan at my Dad’s & it’s highly likely we’ll “caravan” on down to Texas!!!! Also I just finished uploading and editing two more videos of our visit to the local amusement park here in Benin, Africa! huzzah!
