Free Camping On The Murrumbidgee River, Narrandera

As we make our way to Tooleybuc, our next stop was Narrandera. We found another great free camp along the Murrumbidgee. Not alot of filming happned here. Was a nice little town, but most of my time was dedicated to learning a bit more about fresh water fishing. Tried a few different things and started catching a few. But only managed Carp. But that still counts! anyway a beaut little spot just outside of town to set up for a week and have a relax and a look around. recommend it! cheers.

Hey that’s the Bundigerry creek ! It’s an off take irrigation creek. And it flows back to the Murrumbidgee down stream.
2 years ago was good size Cod in there but a black water fish kill decimate them!

Yeah I learned it wasn't actually the Murrumbidgee after the fact. Apparently also knows as rocky Waterhole? But yeah... not too much now. Heard about the black water event too. Not just here but in parts along the Murray. Shame because all that you really catch now is carp.
Another cracking spot Tim. After a few months on the road now, is there anything you miss about not having a home to go back to?
We're pretty happy. Don't miss too much other than family and friends. We're planning on doing a video answering a few questions like this one that we seem to be getting more of now.
