  • Colin McRae Rally is a racing video game developed and published by Codemasters for PlayStation and Microsoft Windows. It features 8 official cars and their drivers and rallies from the 1998 World Rally Championship season, in addition to 4 extra cars. A 2D version was released for the Game Boy Color in Europe in 2001. It was developed by Spellbound and published by THQ.

    Impressive performance for late 1998 game on late 1996 hardware.
    Did you ever consider giving this machine 64mb RAM?

      Pentium 200MHz, 32MB RAM and 4MB videocard is recommended setup for CMR. But yes i am also surprised how god CMR run on V1. I have no plan put more ram to this computer. 32MB is more than enough

    Nice setup! I have a question - how do you set up the darkcrystal capture card on these old motherboards? I remember you were able to do it even for 775i65G, but that doesn't have a PCI-e 1 slot. So how do you even fit the capture card in the motherboard?

      hi. Both capture cards, elgato for HDMI and avermedia for VGA are in modern Windows 11 computer, no inside retro computer where is game. Full setup for capture and stream: Core i5 8500, GTX1080, 16GB DDR4 3000MHz, M2 SSD, Elgato 4k60PRO and Avermedia DarkCrystal HD1080 VGA C199. Software for recording and stream OBS Studio.

      @@Dudulinek82 oh! Sorry I misunderstood. So the capture card is fitted in the modern computer's motherboard, and a cable goes from the old computer's monitor to the new computer's cabinet? Is that correct or anything I got wrong?
