- Route 246, aka “Aoyama Street”, is a popular street that crosses many tourist destinations. In this episode, I drove around Shibuya / Harajuku area.
I didn't edit to make video shorter so that you can see what is going on in Tokyo street. Please enjoy watching the traffics and landmarks. Personally, I like to watch pedestrians and cyclists. They make some funny move time to time.
Bike sound is from stock exhaust. I tried to make a recording as close to the real sound as possible. It'll soon be replaced with Acrapovic. Looking forward to it!
I'd appreciate it if you subscribe to the channel. It will encourage me to create more Tokyo videos. Also, please leave your comment below for future request or suggestion or question or... anything.
This is like ASMR for motorcycles. Thanks for this great video.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment!
Nice bike! Svartpilen sits more comfortable but Vitpilen just looks so sleek 🤤
Always took the subway in Tokyo so never got to see how it is riding in the city. Very interesting.
Feels just about as crowded as the roads here in Taipei but with like 95% less two-wheels and much more organized.
Thanks for sharing!
Also I miss Tokyo (or just Japan as a whole) so much. Hoping to get back soon~
Hi Divid, thanks for comment.
I think Vitpilen is suitable for riding in big cities because of its weight. Very nimble.
Traveling between Tokyo and Yokohama is much more comfortable than it seems. Not in summer though (lol.
Let's go ride together when you come back ;)
@@motoakiho That's nice of you :) I've only rode in Okinawa and that was pretty fun. Hope COVID goes away soon 🤞
Just thinking to buy this bike, so great for a bike like this touring around city like Tokyo, perfect experience
It's nimble, it's light and most of all, it's fun. I guess Vitpilen is a perfect run about in town.
Really nice bike and country! Greetings from Spain!
Hola, gracias por mirar!
Thanks for watching. I'll try to upload more videos.
Nice video, greeting’s from Germany
Thanks very much. I'd like to visit Germany and drive Autobahn. That's my dream ;)
Greetings from South Africa
Amazing bike 🙌🙌
Do you have any modifications on it
Thanks for watching!
I've replaced the rear view mirrors and that's all. Many of Vitpilen owners move their mirrors to handle grip end.
Hello, me also finally bought a new Svartpilen 401. Overall, I am very excited about it, but I still have noticed one little problem: the “balance” of the motorcycle. - When I ride straight on the road and lift my hands from the handlebars, the motorcycle starts to pull slightly to the right ... Considering that the motorcycle is brand new, from the store, I find it a little unusual that the center of gravity is out of balance. Have any of you had a similar problem?
Please for any advice or your experience ..
Thank you very much,
Jurij
Hi Jurij,
Great! Hope you're enjoying the new bike.
I haven't experience any "out of balance" feeling so far. As a practice, I often ride continuous small turns, made with pylons, but I don't have the impression that the bike is out of balance. Maybe I'm insensitive...
Hey! Recognized the same problem on a Vitpilen 401 on a test ride this week, seems to be normal on those models. I found it very unusual too and couldn't take the hands from the handlebar without a slight pull to the right side.
@@XxZHODxX hmmm.. interesting... thanks man.. so i'm not the only one..
I'm sure that the left side of the bike is intended for some kind of special stylish one-sided travel bag... so we can reach the balance 🤣
Hey I think this might be a cause of counter steering, such when u push right on the handle bar it will turn to that direction. What some say to help with that is to keep the elbows loose and a good grip around the handle bars. that might help as I really haven't seen this before on this bike. Hope this helps :)!
Hi! great video. Do you recommend your rear mirrors from stock? I'm having some troubles with lack of vision... Thanks in advance, and greeetings from Argentina!
Gracias por ver el video!
I use kemimoto mirrors for my bike. About 50 USD on Amazon. Husqvarna genuin mirrors cost around 200 USD! Too expensive!

The visibility of the grip-end mirror changes considerably depending on the mounting direction. It's perfectly fine if it's upward, but it's pretty limited if it's downward.
Nice video :) What camera are you using? What about your microphone setup?
Thanks for watching. Insta360 ONE R 1-inch Edition is the camera I use. And I record sound with Zoom H1n and sync when I edit.
hi, i have a svartpilen 401 and i'm still looking for the right shift point. what rpm would you consider to be the perfect shift point? thank you
To go fast, I shift just before the red line (9K) and you know that.
But I enjoy the frequent shift, both up and down, between 6K and 8K on mountain roads. I guess the bike runs very lively.
@@motoakiho yes, 6-7k is what i'm doing right now. I found that 9k redline is a little bit high and engine is out of push at that point. Thank you for your feedback :)
@@papercut1987 Totally agree with you. Thanks for watching and comment ;)
Im going to make sure I have an international license before I go back there in Japan 😅
Yes, you do that👍
Honda is running rental bike business recently. When you come back, let's go for a ride!
@@motoakiho I am looking forward to it!
@@motoakiho yow! I am processing my international license to prepare for my Japan trip in October and Im looking at rental819 located in Odaiba, is this a good shop or should I look somewhere else?
@@melvinalcos That's nice!
Rental 819 is rather famous as a place where you can rent a bike with an international driver's license.
There are other rental agencies, but they may not be available if you don't speak Japanese.
Sorry, I have never rent from them, I am not sure which one is better than others.
