Former detainees in Gaza have shared harrowing accounts of their treatment during their time in Israeli custody. In a report by Al Jazeera, Gaza civilians describe being treated like dogs, beaten for not complying with orders, and deprived of basic needs, such as drinking water.
They detailed being stripped, blindfolded, and subjected to torture, including electric shocks and being force-fed unknown pills. Even the sick were not spared, with sick detainees receiving increased punishment instead of care.
