He's closer than ever to Hamilton in qualifying now but is just dreadful when it comes to managing the race. I'd love to see Mercedes swap Russell and Bottas for 2021. if Bottas doesn't win the 2021 World Championship, he never will. Next year he really needs to go in hard, take it to Hamilton. Maybe get Rosberg to help him, learn to start playing mind games with Hamilton. The only other way that he could win after next year is if Hamilton decides to retire
You will never convince me that he had a puncture. He was called in to protect Hamiltons ego. 7 time champ wouldn't have been happy to have the rookie with 1 size smaller boots and limited understanding of the steering wheel win so easily on debut.
George Russell in one race, in a car he was still learning, on a new track, against all the odds put in THE best and most exciting performance of any driver this year. How tragic that the best team could not support his effort with their usual standard and made the mostly costly mistake of the decade. if anything this proves that russel is a talent and that any top 10 driver on this grid could win in that car
@@anmol3457 I don't think so
I guess Max and Charles are way more talented than Russel
Also Bottas won't be in the top 10 drivers list

Sadly, George currently wouldn't be able to challenge Hamilton, because Russell isn't fast enough YET. But, in that merc he would improve at light speed.

Can't wait to see him getting that seat. My respects for trying to learn as much as he could in just few days.
Today he finally won Brazilian grand prix
If this wasn't painful enough , you just have to wait until Styrian 2021 😭
I think this is more painful
Whats wrong with Bottas recently like honestly he seems to give up mid race.
Focused too much on improving qualifying performances that he forgot to work on his race craft. He's closer than ever to Hamilton in qualifying now but is just dreadful when it comes to managing the race. I'd love to see Mercedes swap Russell and Bottas for 2021. Give Hamilton a proper teammate and give Russell a proper teammate to learn from before Hamilton hangs it up
if Bottas doesn't win the 2021 World Championship, he never will. Next year he really needs to go in hard, take it to Hamilton. Maybe get Rosberg to help him, learn to start playing mind games with Hamilton. The only other way that he could win after next year is if Hamilton decides to retire
@@EmSpro Once Hamilton retires, George Russell will dominate Bottas in the Mercedes. Bottas will never be WDC in a Mercedes
@@MattGoelz lol, thats the same as saying Bottas will never be WDC.
@@EmSpro Or if Toto gives him LH mechanics as they did with Rosberg.
He NEEDS to get another attempt THIS weekend.
You will never convince me that he had a puncture. He was called in to protect Hamiltons ego. 7 time champ wouldn't have been happy to have the rookie with 1 size smaller boots and limited understanding of the steering wheel win so easily on debut.
And 2021 was the punishment. Even though Mercedes won the WCC, it will alwas be an empty victory
Bono's voice is so calm and beautiful.
5:27 - "George, it's James."
Made me laugh.
The calm voice says volumes, a great performance by a future champion, well done Georgie showed em all
George Russell in one race, in a car he was still learning, on a new track, against all the odds put in THE best and most exciting performance of any driver this year. How tragic that the best team could not support his effort with their usual standard and made the mostly costly mistake of the decade. GR has a HUGE future, I look forward to watching him one day handed a car worthy of him. He made many drivers out there look mediocre.
“George, it’s James” is probably coming in the near future
Who's here after he won in Brazil?
In a way, this race turned out better for George to show is real talent. Rather than just blasting his way to the front and staying there, he had to deal with safety cars, bad pitstop, puncture and still perform some outstanding overtakes.
We saw more of what George can really do rather than just winning in a fast car
And now he is a Grand Prix winner, congrats Goerge Russel, your career wasn't that easy but you deserve it and we knew that one day it would happened.
