Aww thank you! Yes you definitely want to set aside a bit of time to play - it’s so much fun 😄 I’ve had many late nights because I just didn’t want to stop painting 😂🙈 Have a very Happy Easter 🐣🤗
If I am a fraction as satisfied as you are with these new brushes I’ll be a happy camper 😊 It’s a rainy day and perfect for playing with the brushes! Thank, Karin.
I just purchased the brush set with the paper backgrounds, and I am beyond excited! I have been struggling with Procreate for a while, and most of that was because of my frustration with the brushes - I'm sure a more experienced user doesn't have an issue adjusting the settings just as they want them, but it was frustrating for me to fiddle around with all that. I used your set for the first time following along with your pebble tutorial. OMGOSH - such a huge difference! I love this set, I feel like I can delete all the other brushes and just use yours (I won't though). Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful set. And your instruction is great too.
Yay! I'm so excited about these ones! Could you possibly explain the pressure and smoothing settings you have? Mine seem to be all messed up, as I can't get them to work like in your tutorial.
Hiya! Oh no - so sorry to hear about the issue with the brushes 😢 Have you changed any of the brush settings at all? If yes I recommend you re-import the brushset so that you'll have the original settings back :) I have not changed any of the pressure or smoothing settings in Procreate! They are all the default, as I want to be able to control my brushes on an individual basis. Let me know if this helps - and if not, please send me an email so I can help you more 🤗
Karin, I am so excited about using these brushes! I just downloaded this set and can't wait to start using them! I have several other brushes from you ~ I know I will not be disappointed. Can't wait to see future videos. Thank you!!!!!
Superb tutorial Karin. Your video is both satisfying as a teaching aid as it is watching. Such a refreshing take on Procreate instruction, you have a unique perspective & are deserving of much high viewing & subscriber numbers. Thank you, more please… I will be visiting your website for freebie’s but also to purchase your brushes etc.
Just bought this brushset, and I'm really excited about it!! But can you explain to me how you use the blooming edge brush (6:08 in this video)? I can't get it to work. When I use the same color there is nothing to se, and even if I choose black, it becomes a pale kind of grey. I have used Alpha lock, and also tried with clipping mask. It's only when I don't use these functions, that the colors are correct. But then it is hard to stay inside the edge. Can you help me? :)
Thanks so much for your support! Yes there’s another way to use the Blooming Edge brush, and that is with the selection method. You create an opaque version of your shape first, and then use it to create a selection which you can paint into. I’ve got a tutorial here where I’m showing the technique: ua-cam.com/video/02xwsN2K8UE/v-deo.html Let me know if this helps!
I love these, makes me want to set an afternoon/day aside to just play on my iPad Pro.
