So the audio on the original video had a lot of problems due to some of the background music I used. Basically what happened was I used royalty free music in some of my older videos. But thats generally a bad move, because someone else can just make a remix of free music and then retroactively claim everyone else's videos that used that same free music. Which is why I only ever use music from websites that I pay a subscription to now so I know they will protect their songs from these kinds of people. So in order to fix this problem, I just have to look through my old files and find the raw audio file from the original video and just replace the videos audio with the clean, music-free audio. However, for some of my older videos this is harder to do because I dont have all those raw files. Especially for the oldest video in this collection being the top 10 creepy quests. So since I knew I didnt have the raw files for the creepy quest video anymore, I just used youtubes built in features to take out the claimed parts, and use their music to drown out the claimed music. Though this just made the audio sound terrible at parts, which is bad for a video meant to sleep to. So since that method failed, I decided to just re-dub the creepy quest video from scratch(I did find the original script at the very least), and then edit the video to fit the new sound file. Plus I scrubbed my old hardrives for the raw files of any other video that used royalty free music and replaced those ones too. Just in case. So now this video should have nice clear audio, and no copyright problems.

Thanks for these kind of videos. I've been really sick and stuck at the hospital these last few nights. These videos help me zone out into a happier place.
I think whats really cool about the Tanaris tracks and something Wowcrendor pointed out: the scale of the game might not be one to one with the scale of these areas in lore. So although they only look a little far out from gadgetxan before turning around, it could have been days or weeks of walking in the desert before they fell over and succumbed to the elements
"it has a 1% drop rate, so if you kick it 100 times, you'll get a guaranteed drop" As a GM myself, nooooooooooooooo. This is one of the worst misunderstandings of how percentages (and thus RNG and droprates) work, and it consistently has caused rude entitled tickets by rude entitled players since the dawn of the game. You do not have 100% chance if you are subjected to a 1% chance drop 100 times. You simply have 1% change to get it, 100 times. It is not guaranteed in any level of mathematical reasoning. It's only expected that it'll be obtained reasonably around 100 tries. The vast, vast majority of players will get it way before, or way after 100 tries. To make this easier to understand: Take a coin. You have 50% chance to get heads, and 50% to get tails. If you flip heads, you *do not have a guaranteed chance to flip the opposite one next*. Not even remotely. Even less when it's not just a 50-50 shot.
I'm amazed it took youtube this long to reccomend your oldest channel, been subbed to duel logs for years now. Mainly clicked the vid because of the staple thumbnail format. Keep up the great work. I very much enjoy how soothing these videos are.
The Hillsbrad Fields: This is the area in Vanilla/Classic where you do the Battle for Hillsbrad questline. I guess in the future version of WoW when they changed they map, lore went that The Horde/Forsaken had won the Battle of Hillsbrad, and turned the Hillsbrad Fields into the Sludge Fields. Ray, Getz and Kalaba are farmer quest NPCs that you have to eliminate in the Classic quest chain. Same ting for Magistrate Burnside and Blacksmith Verrington. Though in the quest chain you do kill them. I guess lore goes that Hillsbrad capitulated and was captured, and then the Forsaken moved in. Personal side note. I hate that this is what they turned the Horde into. It's just evil and The Horde are not evil. I wish we got Rachet Goblins as the 4th race in Vanilla (cos it fits better as Gazlowe helped to design and build much of Orgrimmar), and the Forsaken were an independent, unplayable faction. The story with Sylvanas and Arthas could have easily come much more alive this way around.
I am rather new to WoW and know very little of the game's lore. This kind of videos really ignite interest in the story for new players to explore previous/older content and experience the game with way more intel. Thank you for your effort!
rise forsken is the single greatest butchery of lore in all of wow its absolutly a character assasination of sylvanas, and a CLEAR sign of how wow writers post Wrath had literally no idea what they were doing so just made the horde and forsaken bad guys....because...showing they knew nothing about the characters or lore, and cared even less that quest alone would be enough for me to consider everything post Wrath as non-canon (there is a LOT more, but thats the worst one) also there are a SHIT ton of questionable alliance quests, basically anything involving the defias brotherhood, and a lot of stuff related to the war with the horde, shows the allaince are absolutly awfull, conveniently post cataclysm they all just suddenly, stopped, cos the later wow writers were hacks who had no idea what they were doing or cared about the lore at all in WC3 and wow classic, ACTUALY wow lore not later retconned fanfiction, the alliance is catagorically the bad guy the jaina quest is yet ANOTHER example of absolute character assasination on the wow writers part its genuinly incredible how Warcraft had such a golden goose of lore and setting... and then the writers just systematically butchered EVERYTHING they could get their hands on, there is a reason no one cares at all about later wow lore
Context you missed on the Death Knight starting zone quest, you're not "forced" to kill your friend in the sense that the Lich King compells you, more-so that's a point where your character begins to regain some of their senses, that friend/comrade is reaching out to you and then basically telling you "If you don't kill me, they'll kill us both. Do it, at least this way you'll survive." It's a typical case of "just following orders" but at the same time a moment of a friend volunteering to commit a great sacrifice in order to allow you a chance to be free. If you wanted an abjectly evil quest, you could've pointed out the one where you have to poke scarlets with Keleseth's red hot irons, and you had to deliberately do as little damage as possible so they wouldn't die before they spilled the info.
Just found this guy and so far he sounds pretentious. I was vibing at first but then he started talking about how the quest where you "surrender" and commit war crimes... 1.) no race/faction signed the Geneva Conventions and agreed to the IHL so no. it is not a war crime. in the wow universe there is no Geneva Convention. 2.) if that is the quest that makes you question morality you have legit issue. before you get to that point you have already slaughtered generations of animals, tribes and other living creatures committing all sorts of atrocities but acting like giving up to save beings that are mind controlled is morally confusing? i have no idea why that rubbed me the wrong way but it did. now i cant stop hearing his takes as pretentious.

Theresa and Gerald are also the names of the two characters in Gerald's Game from Stephen King. And iirc in the movie Theresa was blindfolded in bed when Gerald died
It was always weird how those NPCs died wandering the Tanaris desert, since the zone is not that big lol IDK how most people justify in their mind how the world is tiny compared to IRL and big cities have maybe ~100 npcs... Lore and books suggest much bigger populations and distances to travel, taking days to weeks to get to a destination... I just kind of use my imagination to view everything as a sort of 1/1000 scale replica of the actual world. It's just the insignificant people and places that don't matter and thus are invisible to us.
Those hidden eyes in Darkshire indicate a possible spawn point of a rare spirit fox that can be tamed by hunters, as well. :) He spawns in hidden in one of those bushes.
the lich king thing is also well do in the new star war soul like game when vader appear and you realise he has no health bar . the only thing you can do is survive and run away.
I was listening to this video, and i noooticeeed somethiiiing yesterdaaay. You said clicking on a sheep in Warcraft 3 over and over makes it blow up, but this was also possible to do in PC and Playstation versions of Warcraft 2: The Dark Saga.
Though the "killing your besti" is certainly a horrifying situation to be in... we, at that stage, are mindcontrolled pawns. Even if we wanted to, we couldnt disobay. Only when the Lich Kings controll over his new army got interrupted of sorts by Tirion Fordring and the now-cleansed Ashbringer that we regain our free will - pretty much the same as what happened to those who became the Forsaken. In short, yes, we do horrible things while being part of the Scourge... but its not "us". Thats makes the whole thing less bad imo...
As a long time player, it is wild when you think of how wow used to be, compared to how it is today. Dead bodies in quests, some chained up. Impaled dead NPC where you talk to the ghost to find out who killed him, Garrosh deleting someone for doing hainous things to the Nightelves, not to mention the "nanny" in the Barrens (i think it was). Exiting quests, some dark but still exiting to follow. and a lot of funny and joyous quests here and ther as well. And then we have todays fluff "Family is everything".. WoW going woke is just meh.
So are the zones in wow to scale or are they suppose to represent more vast distances? Like 3:46 here, the explanation is that these people headed out to go some place, but didnt make it and died to the elements and fiends, but like none of those tracks are even out of sight of the "Main city", Gadgetzan. Like "what they died? they were literally minutes from home???? wth??"

The Hearthstone Scholo thing just ruins the original story. That wasn't a joke. It was a change in management adhering to ESRB standards so that the game conforms to being "appealing to everyone".
