@@noah.conleyBases loaded in the 10th last night, no outs, they only get 2 runs home. (Which essentially is only 1 with the free runner) Bases loaded in the 10th tonight, 1 out, they get zero runs. I know anything can happen in baseball, but that looks like a dead team walking.
If nothing else, they are a very fun team to watch, and they are certainly trending in the right direction. Not a lot of people probably thought they would even get to 80 wins this year. Making the playoffs would be great, but, i don't consider this a failure of a season if they don't, because the expectations going into the season were maybe for them to win around the same or even less games than last year. Considering the team they have, one of the youngest in baseball, a lot of players have been brought up this year, including sweeney who they got in a deal for flaherty which has turned out really well for the tigers. They play hard, everyone including players who are being brought up from the minors, and they are exciting to watch. Next season, certainly should have more expectations attached to it, from the start, particularly if they make the wild card playoff round. The tigers should have a team that will get a lot of fan excitement. The excitement will be unbelievably high going into next season, as far as expectations of playoffs and making a deep playoff run. There a a few players I'd live to seethe tigers take a run at, mainly pitching, nathan eovaldi wpuld be an excellent pick up for the tigers, he has playoff experience, he's a very clutch pitcher, and he's the pitcher that could make the difference going into next season, i don't think going after verlander would be wise though. But, going into next season, I'd love to see certainly skubal number one, maybe eovaldi 2, montero number 3, reese olsen 4, and mize 5, that's a very good starting rotation. Too, next season the tigers might have three players up from the minors, jackson jobe, possibly competing for a starting pitcher job, kevin mcgonigle competing for the third base job, and then you could possibly see max clark, not to start the season, but probably by mid season.
I’ve never in my 50 years seen so many young pitchers and fielders playing so well all at the same time as we have this season, it’s either Voodoo or these younger players are going to be great for a long time? This is CRAZY, rookies with a 5+ era in the minors throwing fireworks in the majors, unfuckingbelievable💯💪🏾go Tigers, bless you boys What up Mike, this ya man -Butch-LETS GO!!!!
Just give them credit for fighting and playing hard to win games! Sheesh Valenti and Rico wrote them off like most did so now let it be known you were wrong that they would have a chance that’s all! Like the caller said enjoy it
The tigers surprisingly, even when they weren't playing well early on, only got swept twice, so far, all season. For the most part they've been playing tough close games, and they have a good young core group.
Tbf they were slumping, sold at the deadline, in a really tough division, a tough schedule left, AND had a 0.1% chance of making the playoffs. If you didn't write them off you might be slightly delusional.
Made sense when he said, Angels in the Outfield.😂😂😂
Twins just lost.......In extra innings again..... Both teams are now 80-73
Twins do have the tiebreaker so I hope they keep losing

Valenti such a hater
Aren't these the same two dudes who wrote the Tigers off 8 and a half games out with 50 games remaining? 🤡🤡 show.
Most people did. Nobody saw this coming.
It took the Tigers playing their best baseball in years at the same time the Twins fell off a cliff. Nobody saw this coming.
