- Chania Crete is one of the most amazing places I ever visited! It has some of the best food I ever had. the food is so fresh and tasty and I had to put together a list of my fave places when I was there! If you have a chance to visit Chania make sure you try these places out!

I love Crete. I always stay in Chania with family when I visit. Love soaking in everything where my parents are from. There's even some foods and places I haven't tried yet myself 😅 🇬🇷 🇺🇲 ❤️

The tomato fritters at Portes look amazing! Another delicious rare treat on the summer menu in some places is stuffed zucchini flowers.

One thing I've been ordering here instead of a gyro is skewers of bacon wrapped chicken breast grilled ...dipped in a mustard mayo and served with a few hand cut fries. It's a nice change from gyro lol

thanks very much for your great video! we love Chania! did you guys travel from the US to Greece? if so, did you need to get all your vaccine shots including all of the booster shots? so far, we have only received the first 2 shots and none of the boosters. any idea regarding the requirements to fly to Greece now with regards to covid vaccines. thx very much! blessings!
Hey thanks for watching . We flew from Canada abs We did need all of our vaccines or we had to test every 3 days . I am not sure on what they require now I was there in September. I hope that helps and you make it there I would love to know how it works out for you :)
I would enjoy this video more if I could hear what the actual food was called - so I know what to get when I'm in Crete - but though I saw you really enjoy it (and it did look nice) - I couldn't hear what the food was called. :-(
What ones would you like to know I had cheese pies , bougatsa, and spinach pie at the frist place , spinach pie from the Chani market , I had tomato fritters and prok and cheese pie and the last place was pork gyro wrap . Sorry we had a mic malfunction
@@THEFOODDEE Hi thanks for coming back - I got that you really enjoyed the Spinach pie - so I'm guessing first it was a coffee frappe, then bougatsa, (what did you have in yours - you mentioned it being creamy but I thought it just had cheese in it? - does it come with other fillings?) - then did you say those little patties were Cretian Pies? - or just called cheese / spinach pies? What was that square spinach pie you ate around 4.08? Got the tomato fritters - what was the name of the pie you ordered with it? It was around 6.23 - that gyro looked amazing - but do all the cafes that make them put chips (fries) in them? - seems really filling! - If you can let me know the names of the ones above but that would be fantastic! Thank you so much! :-)

The true pita giro is without potatos onion and tomato...Only meat and yogurt(in creta)...And the pita bread without any oil...Only then you realize the quality of the meat...Only the meat matters...Try it and you remember me...
