Hi there! Thank you for your honest review! You have a new subscriber! Is it possible to take the O3 from this drone and put it in another one? Thanks!
@cubalessandro Hey, thanks for your kind words! 🙂 And Welcome to the family! 😃👍🏼 As for DJI 03 Compatibility... Yes, the Sub250 OasisFly25 can be purchased without the 03, to add your own 03 at home...or can be purchased with the 03 and swapped to another one that is 03 capable later. The biggest thing with swapping air units is to make sure there is ample space for 03 to fit and also mounting brackets but they do make adaptors if needed. One other thing is that OSD compatibility with DJI. But of course that all depends on what you plan to swap it to or from. Hope that helps and feel free to ask away or just discuss if you like! 👍🏼
@@HappyRCFlyerThank you for your answer! I already bought the Oasisfly25 with the O3. I also bought a Betafpv Pavo 20 Pro without O3. That is why I am asking. I am new to the FPV hobby and I am starting it because I believe I will enjoy it and also because I would like to add more dynamism to my videos! Your channel helps a lot. Thank you!
@cubalessandro Nice choice! 😃 I've heard really good things about the Pavo 20 but haven't gotten one yet...(key word yet-lol) I guess I wanted to try the Flywoo FlyTimes85 to see if I could get better flight times!🤔 Back to the Pavo 20, if my memory serves me right, I think some people have issues with the cage for the air unit, so not a bad idea to order an extra one or two just in case it breaks on install/removal of air unit. But they are inexpensive so not a deal breaker if it breaks! 👍🏼
Hello there! I did my first flights with the oasisfly, it was amazing! The only thing I noticed is that the range is not so good. Maybe because of the small ceramic antenna on the receiver. I am using a Radiomaster Pocket with the internal module setted to 250 mw and 250hz packet rate. At more or less 400m distance I am already getting about -100 dBm on the RSSI.. are you getting the same range? Thank you!
@cubalessandro Congrats! 👏 You'll love it! Such a powerhouse! 😁 As for the range, I am guessing you are using ELRS 2.4ghz?🤔 I'm running Crossfire 900mhz which might make a difference but I've probably only had mine out to 320m. I mostly keep the racers close-by because of battery life and the nature of what they are kinda geared for Freestyle. So far I have been using RadioMaster TX16S with a plug-in TBS Crossfire 900mhz Module on the back.👍🏼 Maybe if I get a chance I'll push it out a bit and see if or where I have any range issues. Generally, if they don't have GPS, I stay super close! 😅 Ps, You could also check antenna placement, or orientation, and power leads near the rx/antenna. Just a thought but currently I have no personal experience with ELRS. Although I do fly with buddies that use it.)
This is going to be my first quad, could I run it off a 3S 750mah? I have a ton of RC helis ranging from a Specter 700 to a OMP M1. My Goosky s2 and OMP M2 use 3S 750 mah batteries. I'm thinking it might be good to start with 3S to get use to FPV with but was wondering if that would be a good idea or if 3S wouldn't have the voltage to make it fly very well?
@Lance57H Thanks for stopping by! 👋 😃 (Apologies for being late to your comment.🥲) Without personally testing, I would just have to guess it would be possible on 3s but I don't feel it would be serving it's value just on 3s. There is always the possibility that flight time would be really poor or very imbalanced with thrust to weight ratio. 🤔 Of course everyone has different preferences and goals but I would probably recommend something more like the FlyWoo Explorer LR4 03 for a first quad. Learning to drive with a race car can be more daunting but can leave you with false expectations of how Freestyles fly and possibly even discourage you from that part of the hobby. I believe the Sub250 Oasisfly25 could be a first quad but not sure if I myself would enjoy it as much now if I had tried to start on that one. It's definitely really touchy and sensitive on the sticks, which is a disadvantage for someone just starting into it. FlyWoo offers the Explorer LR4 03 in Pre-built BNF, it comes with a GPS, it has alot more mellow/tamed handling because of props/motor kv and frame size... and much better flight times than most quads across the board which = more time in the air to get practice on the sticks! 😀 Here is a link to a mention and brief overview of it in another video from not long ago! (It is also 4cell though) Happy to answer any other questions if I can help! (*I'll watch this thread more closely*) Link ua-cam.com/video/3jQ1KTprl5Q/v-deo.htmlsi=0Ir1zjMoEZ5eZm92
Hey, sorry for the late reply! 😏Great question! I just checked and I'm on BataFlight 4.4.3 What kind of FPV Issues are you experiencing? 🤔 Is OSD not displaying at all or does it need rearranged on the screen, maybe missing items? Also which air unit are you using? Happy to help if I can, and also willing to share CL files if needed!👍🏼
@ I’m on 4.5 now and my osd now works. I was concerned about loosing pid tune but it flies the same. 5volt pad only works on 1 pad near uart 2 so I’m sharing it with the gps that got mounted with double sided tape on the camera.
@BrainHurts5446 ; Sweet! 👍🏼 Glad to hear you are back in the skies! 😃 Yeah, I've been thinking about adding a GPS too... I miss watching my speed and altitude. I think I have a few extra GPS chips around, might have to do that! 🤔 How do you like the OasisFly25?

I’m having trouble with the osd. Does your work or have you updated it to betaflight 4.5?

I’m only aware of the 03 air unit. Has the new one been released yet?

How do you like the OasisFly25?
@ I like it but if or when it breaks I’ll be getting one that has 03 mounted in the center because it feels a little bottom heavy
