- If you been keeping up with the Jujutsu Kaisen community, you’ll know that the shibuya incident arc has been trending… and I gotta say it does not disappoint. After Gojo got sealed, This is another case of JJK Jumpings. Itadori and Megumi vs Awasaka was violation. Definitely one of the most disrespectful anime moments. Toji makes his return this episode as well, we all know that Toji is the definition of black airforce energy. We seen Toji vs Ino and it was completely embarrassing.

The reason why Ino has to cover his face to use his technique is because he is a medium.
He's covering his identity and erasing his own ego in order to fully become the mythical beast.
So basically he's hiding himself so that he can embody something that doesn't have his face.

The way the fights flow in this episode make it clear that Megumi wasn’t playing when he said they weren’t heroes. Fuck the 1s, fuck honor in combat, they were there to get bro out the way and if that meant leaving him as a chalk outline then 🤷♂️ if that’s a problem next time bring more homies

It's the reason gege hates him so much, because writing the story around such a busted character was far harder and even took the tension outta certain situations.

JJK jumpings really FEEL like jumpings. They don't give them the chance to do anything.
Remember the birth of Gojo destroyed the balance of the Jujutsu world, giving sorcerers the upper hand. Without Gojo, the curses and sorcerers are pretty much evenly matched in terms of power, so that means strategy is what gives advantage. The curses have the upper hand because this is their plan and they're already two steps ahead. Without the sorcerers knowing the plan, it's a wrap unless they get Gojo back. However, if the curses somehow piss off Sakuna and he gets released, the sorcerers may be able to use the chaos to regain some ground, but he's a wild card that can screw everyone.

I can't lie, I completely disagree with Mahito when he said the curses and sorcerers are equal without Gojo. Cause Mahito doesn't know sorcerers got Yuta, Yuki and Hakari. The sorcerers are stronger with or without Gojo.

The last punch that finished old dude wasn't a hard punch. That's why he stopped mid punch. It was basically a light punch at that point, but Itadori pump faked him to activate his technique to send him flying from a tap of his fist.
See what I love about that scene is you can literally take it either way. Either Yuji stopped and tapped his face with a light punch with his curse activated and knocked him out cold. OR Yuji is incredibly strong and capable as a fighter so I have 1000% confidence he could do a 1-inch punch. So he stops and holds the punch so the old dude drops his ability to take the light hit and then Itadori just nails him with a super strong punch to the face.

The toji in this scene is actually stronger than the toji from the hidden inventory arc. The seance technique brings back a sorcerer at their peak, and the toji from the hidden inventory arc was way past his peak

Ino hides his face to make him be a vessel so the beast could possess him. I think hiding his face is a requirement to make him more effective as a vessel because you're own identity might tamper with the possession. Basically if Ino has his regular personality the beast power gets weaker so by wearing the mask he leaves his identity and personality behind so the beast could fully takeover/manifest its strength.

Also on top of that he has to activate the technique it doesn’t constantly stay on. It’s that reason they keep hitting him with strong attacks to throw him off to hit him with a weak attack when he thought they were going for a killing blow

Characters monologuing and explaining their techniques is only bad when it breaks the action momentum, which it does a lot in this show. I wouldn't mind an info dump episode explaining everyone's moves and motives if it meant every fight could flow uninterrupted.
@LJ-hk4tv the reason why they explain their techniques is to increase their effectiveness and power. It's similar to a binding vow. Idk if that's good or bad for the reader's experience, that's subjective. I'm just saying it makes sense as there is a reason why characters do it.

But I think the curse technique that was used still has an affect of Toji (or at least, sorta influencing him) to go after the strongest person he senses. When he kills them, he then goes after the second strongest person.
