That Coltrane live record is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. Rad record, Joe!

Once again, some excellent finds Joe! Been after the King Ubu record for awhile, only seen it on European sites. Can't believe how clean the ICP records were, they typically have pretty worn covers.

Yeah I’ve had good luck online/in stores with a lot of great European Free Jazz! 2 of the 3 ICPs I got came from Japan so that may be why they stayed in such great condition. I hope you can find the King Ubu session soon!

You definitely got my attention on the ICP album Joe. Now I do know that it is not Insane Clown Posse. {smile} I have heard of the label. But I do not know much about it. The ICP # 6 has a clever cover. Anyone who knows the VU & Nico cover will be curious to know what it is. Or maybe not. It reminded me of the VU. What type of jazz is it? Excellent grabs~

ICP #6 (it’s called Groupcomposing) is free jazz. A little bit larger of a group but still killer, especially the A side! Thanks for watching, let me know what you think of the ICP sessions!

@@analog_archive Thanks for the info Joe. I found out that all of them are part of the Instant Composers Pool am I right? Or is this the label name?

@@Paneeks1960 kind of both. ICP was started by Willem Breuker, Misha Mengelberg, and Han Bennink. They appeared on quite a few records together earlier on in the label’s history but Breuker left in the mid 70s to form his own group. Most sessions feature Bennink and Mengelberg though (at least that is what my limited understanding is)

@@analog_archive Awesome Joe. Thanks again for the info. I already jotted it down in my want list notebook. I started one notebook fourteen years ago at the start of the VC. I am now on my second notebook. I have everyone's VC name who posted them, the artist, title and the date that they were shown. I will hopefully find about find 5% of the ones that I wrote down. But 5% is better than zero any day of the week~
