Glad You finally played one of the Hillbilly shooting galleries for the channel. 😂 They have always stood out to me since since they are basically life-size animatronics, and yet country parks like Robin Hill used to have one.
(Older ones were known as Hillbilly Moonshine or Zeke's Shack in the 80s and 90s)
They are great fun!

I love your guys videos they are awesome, seeing this video of great Yarmouth reminded me of my summer holiday trips to Margate and dreamland as a kid, The Scenic Railway and the looping star were always favourites of mine 🎢

Nice vlog, really enjoyed and always look forward to more uploaded, good to see a new coaster on pier here, might move coaster to corner where Ghost train is? Creating more space for new additions in future or move to where dodgems are? Move dodgems where Ghost Train currently is located? But to hear about new additions coming in future, sounds interesting and good. Wondering what Great Yarmouth will replace log flume with? Was thinking maybe could replace it with one of those new RMC Moose Coasters? But themed up or permanently built inside a building? Be good to have one of those on seafront, have suggested Dreamland and Adventure Island to maybe get one? Or Dreamland build a unique layout version? But guess time will tell? But yeah, cheers for vlog, look forward again for more in future. 😀👍

I know it well. Used to go there as a kid. My disabled brother inlaw used to work at the theatre so we'd take him there. Looks far better than it did back then.

I enjoy going round the fair, go on a few rides but its nice to see the attractions.
Love this video. We visited Britannia Pier in July this year, loved the pier and beach.. I agree with Charlotte, that deck chair was hard to get off from 😅
We also took a ride on the train along the prom too. We loved Great Yarmouth and will visit again in the future.

That pier reminds me of the old Atlantic City Steel Pier and the Asbury Park attractions.
The ghost train in Asbury Park with the strings hanging down, that's really old school.
The Jersey Shore is all those white beaches , Seaside Park and Wildwood Crest.
Having moved to this small town , Ferndale WA. just north of Bellingham,
There is a metal walkway on Bellingham Bay,
but nothing like the East Coast this far north.

I was on Britannia Pier in the early '90s when I heard a hubub ahead of me. A celebrity was walking down the pier saying hello to people... it was the late, great Bobby Ball! On another note, it's good that they now have a coaster, and I hope they replace the ghost train with something that gives better views of the sea. A Waveswinger would be good.

Great to see Britannia pier making the investment for a small family coaster, but I do think it’s time the ghost train was replaced it’s been there for so long. There is a slightly bigger version of that coaster at gullivers Warrington.
The ghost train is almost as bad as the Catacombs at West Midlands Safari Park!!!
3:39 I'm trying to look very very far in the distance... As the crow flies I hope you could see at least my province in the south-east from there... But you can't see more than 50 km away.
Still a nice thought that I'm somewhere in the distance, not even 200 km away as the crow flies.
I mean when I was young I wondered if I could see England from the coast and hoped to be there one day. Eventually I went there and learned that we couldn't see eachother.
Yeah, you can see Dover from Calais and the other way around, but the coastline goes northwest from there and as such the Netherlands is always at least 100 km away. Alas.
And just so you know... No, when I was young I didn't wonder if I could see Great-Britain. When you're younger, you're less informed, so hence.

Great Vlog both of you👍Was there last weekend and spoke to one of the owners, The coaster will be removed for the winter season and is going abroad then coming back for next season, The little bumper cars are going and the mini jets have been sold,Also the Ghost Train was going to be replaced with a new 2tier one but the owner has sold that so the Ghost Train will remain for now Tea cups also sold but new attractions will arrive next season, The two owners are really spending some money on bringing the pier bang up to date it looks great now but in their own words will look spectacular next year 👍👍❤️❤️

This New Roller coaster has an F1 car for a ride vehicle which is quite funny because I saw a video of an F1 car on the Big one at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
literally was there a few weeks ago expensive for the rides and two of them were not even open

The Great Yarmouth circus building has the only working water ring in the UK now as I think the Water works at Blackpol Tower Circus are lo longer working.

Hey Shawn and Charlotte! Thanks for your fantastic videos as always. I don’t know if (at 11:19) the ghost train has been refurbished in the last few years, but random fact - the BBC comedy series Keeping Up Appearances filmed an episode here in 1995, with Hyacinth Bucket (sorry Bouquet!) even going on the Ghost Train 😂. It “looks” like it is the same layout, but nonetheless, a fun little fact to share ☺️

The Ghost train is decent when I looked up the Ghost train at Britannia Pier on UA-cam I was expecting it to be Cool and scary but it was very short and not much to it but I wish it was longer and did 2 laps instead of 1

So under rated Great Yarmouth, definitely one-of the big 3 resorts for families. Would you recommend where you stayed? We have always stayed at The Chateau but this might be their last year and need ideas of where else to go
