Nice review. The bigger screen is really tempting compared to an old 13” model I have. Did you film the talking head A roll on the Vivo X100 Pro? If you did, it’s an amazing testament to the device. I noticed some odd exposure “breathing” though.

@@bensgadgetreviews read it on my own i was doing my own research on the m3 MacBook since ive never owned a MacBook and for years ive been wanting to get into content creation and video editing and i know MacBooks with apples own silicon are great for video editing i might try to get an older one simply because im in still in highschool without a job i dont have the funds 😂 so im looking for a job

I just picked up the M3 MBA 15” with 16gig ram and 512SSD in starlight. For my everyday use on email, web surfing, youtube and video streaming services it’s the perfect machine. Upgraded from the mid 12 MBP 13” non Retina display. After the 2nd battery replacement it was time to upgrade. 😂

This is very awesome, but the lack of a fan is definitely a deal breaker, I'm rocking an M1, aside from some development issues and virtualization roadblocks, I really really like it. lol, and I'm not an apple fanboy.

As an IT professional, I used to think the Pro was for me until I realized I barely did anything to justify the cost, so I switched to the Air and it’s perfect.
Still deciding between the new M3 MBA and M3 MBP!

Going from 16 to 15 may have the m3 feel like a good change, but going from m1 13 to 15 is a huge difference.
I use my small sandisk usb c card reader on both my phone and mac so never cared about a slot in the computer.
I hate the right CTRL key being pushed to this position to give room to the four arrow keys, which shouldn't exist in the first place. Back in the Apple ][ days, the trick of cursor movement was to precede the I,J,K,M keys by an escape character, which is really a smart one.
We need a 14 ultra video!!, ive just bought it from the uk site for a crazy deal, trading my 12s ultra and getting it for 750 plus the photography kit and xiaomi tab 6 for free🔥
The 512 model in the air is the one to get but I still think the 14 inch 512 model offers better value for money.
Honestly side by side the pro feels heavier

I have 2018 MacBook Pro i5 with 8gb ram, how is the new air 15 compared to my 2018 mbp? Enough to change now?
Ooo yeah! I think you're gonna feel the change and you're going to love it. Just choose the model after doing your research. It's very confusing.
I don't get reviews for the m3 air, its just a incremental upgrade from the m2 so those reviews should still be valid. If you already have a m2 air then no need to upgrade, if you are coming from a older device then this is a great entry level device.

Still no OLED screen for a notebook people use to watch videos? Hard pass.
There are pros and cons to OLED, and Apple has stated that, at the moment, OLEDs do not survive their in-house testing. So, they refuse to use them on laptops and tablets. They developed their own dual-pane OLED that passes their longevity, brightness, and QC, which the iPads will get in the next few weeks.
@@andyH_England They are lying. Lots of notebooks and tablets use OLED screens for years now nd they are fine. The current MacBook Pro minii LED screen is pretty low quality anyway, MacBook's don't do anything special that warrant some special OLED screen. They could source the panels from Samsung just like they do it with iPhones.
Sorry, but it’s 2024 and still no 120HZ refresh rate screen? Even cheap laptops have them now. Apple lost me. Was gonna buy the new MacBook Air if they had it but def not gonna now.
Tbh with you, you shouldn’t really look at the air if you’re not ok with 8gb ram and 256 ssd. Once you start upgrading the ram and ssd, it gets near to pro pricing.

There is no point of getting Macbook, waste of money. Buy iPad, no hinge problem, no keyboard problem, you can even add a pen and get cellular version. Wanna work with document? Get a keyboard or buy a cheap used windows laptop
its not 2017 anymore the MacBook doesn't have a butterfly keyboard, MacBooks haven't had bad hinges for a long time the current ones use metal hinges which are good. Nether of your reasons a MacBook is a waste are true. You could say MacBooks are a waste because of the low ram and storage, zero upgradability and poor repairability.
