Yeah, it's just a Democrat talking point, until it comes to a point when they have to admit they're contributing heavily to it. Then it is just a footnote.
Oh no the rich beaurocrats didn't get their way oh the humanity now they know how it feels for us in Southern Colorado to have our water supply threatened by unchecked urban growth
While dams are being brought down because of their impact, Denver Water got another old school Big Project going based on Western Slope diversions. I hate to see more stream beds flooded out.
This is NOT a power dam. The power house is by power dam standards, is tiny, only 7 MW max. Compare to two older wind turbines or less than 1/2 of 1 of the 24 power generators in Hoover Dam.
I think you misunderstand what has happened here. The corporate greed that says - Cut All Corners Make More Profit could have just spent a tiny bit more money and followed the laws by presenting alternative ideas to making the already old and NOT power producing dam bigger. If they had just looked around and wrote down those ideas this would have not been an issue legally. Judges don't do environmental stuff - they just follow the laws that the legislature passes.
Corporate GREED. If they had just followed the law this wouldn't be an issue. But all they thnk about is money. Instead of thinking about the future and planning ahead - they're just looking at a quick buck. Shame on them.
Yea man its been a long hard fight man you know we are glad we are able to keep people from drinking this water man you know the fish are not happy with sharing their water man you know man it has been hard man.
Welcome to the West, where Waters is for fighting, not drinking😂😂😂
You mean how the entirety of India and China have to remove guns and modern weaponry on their borders because of reservoirs, rivers and dams?
The environmentalists hit the lotto with the judge they picked.
Personally I would rather Colorado people use the stored water. Wont it be consumed by Vegas and LA anyway?
Climate change sneaks into the story with only seconds to spare!!

@@Zbruh69 And until it hits the southeast twice in a month, then it's the space lasers.🤨
Simply put, there are too many people and not enough water, and no one wants to act on it.

"Steakholders" ?
Yes, you need water/feed to get that beef 🤣
AI again.

@@kjpcgaming9296 I know YOU don't understand.
And that you are heavily influenced by personal bias.
1:55 I hope Denver Water didn't actually say "steakholders" in a statement
Of course they did
You realize stakeholders are basically farmers and municipalities? Not shareholders like Wallstreet. Or farm land owned by Saudis or the chinese...
AI strikes again!
Colorado - Big ON beef LOL
Colorado violates the environment? Who would have thought😳

A little late. The permit was granted like 8 years ago.
And FERQ suspended the permit until the judge files a final ruling
Good but stay away from the san luis valley water. Water for food not grass lawns and fountains.
Commies rule.
^^troll^^
Water for battery production
STEAKholders? Not a journalist worth a damned in America anymore.

The Dude abides.
Colorado sucks. That's why I moved!
No water for illegal immigrants
How about naming this Judge?
Colorado sucks!
It also blows.
Dont worry. Trump will get rid of whatever laws or departments are protecting this environment
