No matter how dominant our Cricket industry is in the world, the fact that it causes heavy sidelining every other sport in india is bad.

i dont really think investments and talent is the problem in indian football , nor can you complain about the lack of support , there is plenty of support for football in india , and most of the genz follow football ( especially western clubs and teams ). The problem is team selection and plenty of talent getting wasted , proper coaching must be provided and yea since football is a more physical sport , indian genetics are really not up to football standards if u consider the average population .

BCCI is an autonomous private organization whose aim is to fill their own pockets and increase their revenue. They are not a charity. Cricket popularity is already decreasing in India. Why would they accelerate this process and reduce their own revenue sources by promoting other sports. Remember they are a private organization not government body. The interesting question is why are they a private body and not under government?
