Haven't played Legends for quite a while but you made some great points about the game and I sometimes really ask myself these questions too. This commentary was everything we all wanted and Merry Christmas to you all. I honestly just love how you're constantly giving or being open about what often ends up being the hard truth when it comes to a new unit or mechanic for this game. Whenever a new unit releases, I like to wait for your showcase video to come out before I decide to summon on a unit or not.

Was a day 1 player and stuck with it for 4 years, still enjoy it every now and then but sometimes it’s vital to remind yourself how much life has to offer outside of these games that are designed to draw you in. Sometimes I feel like I was just really looking for a community, and that’s why I still watch goresh after making some distance between myself and this game. As someone who recently started playing just to get Beast Gohan, I love the game, I mostly collect units, love the art, animation, and graphics. Gameplay is pretty fun and it does take some skill for a mobile game. I rarely play pvp but if I do it’s just to farm CC. Collecting units and playing the events is fun for me
@@faygo686 ye but still i also play it like that but if you dont get the new units it gets annoying and then you get clapped in pvp so you wanne play pve but there is literally no pve content except doing the same raid over and over and over again
funny how it's the opposite for dokkan. dokkan was going in a bad direction and then legends appeared and pushed dokkan to improve to the point that I'm sure we'll have a 20 year ani for dokkan and legends will be dead
I've been playing Legends pretty early on (Not day one but pretty early) I've seen the game change ALOT during its 4 years And I still play it for the art, the "fun" gameplay and the animations alone I just hope one day the game finds their proper footing in the future It's a game brimming with potential and I hate to see it die due to poor decisions by the higher ups of the Legends Dev Team

I had this epiphany when Beast dropped that I keep throwing money at units that I know have a couple months of usability max and I’ve been doing it over and over for years. Ever since then I’ve barely played but I still enjoy keeping up with what the content creators are up to.
My main gripe with the in-game mechanics right now is the Perfcet Vanish. This mechanic didn’t use to be so annoying, but with the plethora of units coming out nowadays with cover null just makes this mechanic absolutely more broken than even Rising Rush, and that’s saying something.
I've spent a fair bit of money on this game. And I feel like quitting is hard for people worried about the entire "I've gone so deep I can't stop now." If you truly want to have fun, I suggest you just tab in and out. Don't go deep in or else it'll genuinely mess you up if you take it too seriously. Merry Christmas everyone! Yeah sunk cost fallacy with gachas is hell for some people to overcome, but if anyone reading has that, just know it is worth it if you're truly unhappy and you'll feel good about it, especially after the first day or two. Merry Christmas!

I play this game purely for the collector’s aspect more so then the PVP and other content. I play every peace of content until I run out and then I do something else. I have a very simple outlook on this game. And life in general, I suppose. Merry Christmas or any other holiday you celebrate if you are reading this!
Then just play dokkan? Has way more characters, collab characters, way more events, more stuff to grind and the animations imo are much more enjoyable than the 2 second 3d model animations with shit scenery
I come and go in waves with Legends It's hard to keep playing sometimes and I just need space from it for a while. I do like watching the gameplay a lot though which brings me back in every once in a while
I played the game since release. Finished every bit of content on the game as soon as it came out. Was constantly saving CC since i was a f2p meta slave and needed the top 10k CC from pvp. When zenkais first released on banners at the start for 7k i'd purposely skip units which could have an impact on the meta so i could own these units which had the potential to tank rushes without endurance and 1v3 teams from the start. All the new game modes they released were just repeptitive such as the 100 stages of the same character you had to fight or just not entertaining such as the t.o.p gamemode which you had to play to stay in Z rank. I was rewarded for all this since i managed to get new LFs, Ultras etc at around 7*s since i was able to save 30k+ cc for must summons. Pvp was fun but i was really burnt out of the game since i was constantly improving my box by z7 everysingle unit, getting every single plat equip /good equip to Z rank. Ended up taking a break after playing androids and Mui goku leader slot team for a while to get to top 1k and haven't played it since. 5000+ hours on the game and my attachment to improving my account is gone.
You can have a lot of fun on legends in your first year of playing honestly, but after that it gets so dry, you have a great box, squeezed 90% of content out for crystals. It slowly becomes more of a chore to play
I’m a purely f2p player. As you said in the video, it is really important for anyone to have a healthy relationship with any game and it shouldn’t affect your peace. I remember back when GREEN Bardock came out, I got shafted soo hard and frustrated that I quit the game but eventually missing the game a bit plus watching hype stuff getting on legends I decided to rejoin it when OG PURPLE SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta had dropped back in December of 2019(I think that was when the dropped). But ever since then, I made a rule for myself that after grinding crystals I won’t spend every single one of them on any banner completely period. If I get the character well and good and even if I don’t still it’s fine. Except for events and celebrations disasters we had in this year, I still find myself enjoying the game. I love collecting new characters and i play PVP not as frequently as everyone in the community but I do enjoy it whenever i play(except when the lag is waaayyy too much lmao). Anyways, I hope to anyone who reads this comment to have a healthy relationship with the game and just treat it as a normal game and nothing too close that it starts affecting your routine or your life! Love ya content Goresh for both dokkan and legends!( i dont play dokkan)
For me personally, my issue with the game are separate factors which link into other and intertwine altogether. I enjoy the gameplay A LOT, sitting on PvP for at least an hour whenever I log into the game. That competitive side of the game is very appealing to me, however, the way some units or teams absolutely dominate is very disheartening, especially for someone like me who has tried to pull all the featured units in these past and current banner to no avail since the unveiling of USV (I have not pulled him, no), and like I mentioned in a previous video, I have done 5 rotations on each banner minimum - currently on my 8th and 6th rotation in the GT and Future banner respectively, and literally the only featured unit I've pulled since all the aforementioned banners has been only Android 17, pulling him two times, which leads to the issue of the devs just throwing in every sparking, new and old, in these banners for bulk, which is extremely frustrating. Though I am not saying I do not have usable units for PvP, it is such a struggle when facing these recent units because a *SINGLE* mistake, and you lose the match. I usually finish in the top 5k (I could end higher but I just can't be bothered to grind that hard and I prioritise getting the new units to add to the collection rather than the most effective units for PvP), but recently its been such an uphill battle in every single match I've just kind of given up on the game. This contradiction is very infuriating because all in all, I love this game, but the side of this game I enjoy the most is the bane of my life🤣🤣🤣
The only thing keeping me playing the game right now is my endless journey to obtain the TAG PUR Goku/Vegeta. When I get them my motivation to actually play the game will be revitalized. The LR Gods in Dokkan are my favorite unit in gacha game history and I need them in legends too.
@@KWCHope some people don't get lucky enough to pull a specific character. E.G. I have been playing the game for 4 and ½ years. I still haven't gotten lf future gohan. It's not like everyone can get lucky.
A week ago i quit both Dokkan (was playing for 7 years) and Legends (was playing for 4 years). For dokkan it went downhill after 5th anniv. Boring content, or no content at all. As for Legends, everything went downhill after 3th anniv. Boring content, and it's p2w. Was fun while it lasted. I'm glad i was playing in the golden era of both games.
I recently took a step back from legends spending wise. I haven't been happy with how the game has been since end of 2nd year. Its been feeling a bit more predatory as of late but at the same time a bit more generous as well. As well as content not being frequently implemented either. Story mode use to get chapters all the time, it felt like we were getting new events frequently, banners had more than 1 or 2 new characters, etc. The game feels stale but I find myself enjoying it when I took a step back and stopped spending money on it.
@@senyu_lolz4202 yea but it was only 7.99 and 13.99 crystal packs and sale stuff. Now the only thing I would even consider buying is the 2 week mission packs that give u 2000 crystals if you do the 50 battles and the other minor missions.

I am a college student with a low spec laptop living in a dorm room without a monitor or gaming pc or playstation (video games were a decent chunk of my childhood) so i was very bored at home with nothing to do after i finished with any project or studying i had. I am gonna guess you play games or watch anime or something as most dragon ball players do so you have options, and a lot of them. Back when i had a Ps3 and a gaming laptop i had the same thought process that mobile games are garbage money grabbers( which i still believe) but without options and db legends being the only game i play when i am bored, when i get shafted i do get thoughts about spending money. I understand that it is a waste but at the end of the day all video games are a waste of money but as long as you have fun it does not matter. We are not machines we do not think the same for some people this is their favourite game.
I'd love to see a deeper analysis of this game versus Dokkan. Legends just feels like sitting in menus for hours and hours to me with the occasional pointless grind fights. But it has actual fighting gameplay. Meanwhile, Dokkan is bubble popping and watching cutscenes over and over again, but does everything else beautifully.
Honestly ever since beast Gohan came out my enjoyment of the game has been on a steady decline and has hit that point where I think it's time to take a step back. I've played every day since day 1 and have been going back and forth on quitting the game or pushing through. I love the content you release of the game so I think it is time for a step back and I'll keep up with your videos on what is going on and maybe someday will come back into the game. Time for a break though that is for sure!
Saw someone else commenting something similar, I'll say my piece too. I've been a day 1 player of dbl, but the decisions game takes is always demoralising. I haven't been able to stick to the game for more than a few months at a time, and always come back just because how cool the characters look and interact. I'm out of the game again as of last month (came back after 4th Anni just for beasthan). But your videos are actually enjoyable to watch, even you being tired of the game in many videos feels relatable lmao. Personally I don't believe the game is worth it to play for me, considering the time investment it requires vs the output in terms of enjoyment i get, I've hit god rank once, felt accomplished, but very often i usually put down this game feeling annoyed/disappointed. Your videos keep the game intriguing for me still
I'm a casual player when it comes to all mobile games. I plan on continuing to play it. I may not have most of the new units but I still love playing this game casually.
I’ll be honest, I love dragon ball legends as a mobile dbz game. And even tho I don’t play it as much as I used to I still enjoy it every once in a while, but the lack of events it’s what keeps this game down in my opinion.
It's crazy how low some people's standards are. This Legends Fest is by no means terrible (it has some redeemable qualities such as the Hoi Poi) but to say it's better than last year's Legends Festival is straight up mad.
I’ve been playing since day 1, when I started this game I had no idea who characters like zarbon were, this game helped me get into dragon ball and through the ups and downs I’ve stuck with it because at the end of the day I do enjoy this game

For 95% of the population... Yea legends is probly great tbh. Especially if you play infrequently, they actually release a decent amount of content on a week by week basis that feels manageable and completable, lessening on the feeling on missing out a ton. And anything below rank 50 in pvp is pretty diverse and fun. That being said for the other 5% you'll see cracks form in this game waaaaaay into the late game. And when they form you won't be able to ignore them. But if you end up accepting the game for it's faults and end up playing a little less again, the game becomes pretty fun again. It's like breaking your favorite toy and still playing with it, or playing a vanilla pokemon game in your 20s.

I've been playing for 2,5 years now and I still enjoy it even at it's lowest points. All I keep in my mind is to take it easy and have a good time, taking it too seriously will only burn you out.
That first few hours after you download legends is some of the most fun I’ve ever had with a mobile game. Legends fest last year was probably the closest I’ve had it feel like it did back at launch
You know, in listening to this video I've come to the realization that legends could just make a separate pvp ladder that's a base game with no rr. They've shown us we can have multiple pvp modes with different stipulations in place, so why not just give ppl the option to play with or without rr or even still do both to get maximum rewards from the game? In doing this I think it would definitely boost player morale and show they have finally acknowledged what players want in a big way.
Like many gambling games, when you start, you cant stop When you stop, everything else in life can start I stopped playing legends, and ofc a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders, but goresh's videos I still enjoy
My problem is just there's a bunch of repetitive content, I do play pvp as well but as we know that's not great either. But at the end of the day after all the hours I invested I don't regret it because I have had fun playing this game for the most part
I played DB Legends from Day 1 until the 2nd anniversary, but these days I‘d still coming back here and then to see what‘s new but most of the time I don‘t feel like „really“ coming back. I consider myself a season player now I guess
I think for anyone as a new player this game isn’t worth playing if I’m being honest but personally I’ve played over 4 years and I’ve built myself a really good account. The thing that annoys me the most is the PVP mechanics like Perfect Vanishes which are just awful when players fish for them constantly and my Rising Rushes constantly getting guessed is another thing that I hate

This video really opened my eyes as I'm 4 years into the game. I've been too competetive for too long. Rarely taking things lightly. So when the thought of stepping down came up, it never crossed my mind before. I love this game for its gorgeous animation, summoning, and characters. My best experience with Legends was playing pvp with my goku-only team all the time. Merry Christmas Goresh. After Part 3, I may finally put the game down to take a break
I used to think as long as my team has the building blocks it needs like a good support,defense,and offensive character I would be fine in pvp as long as I play well but that’s not the case anymore. I still play because the character additions and story are really good.
Feels like a free to play player can't have anywhere near the level of fun as someone who spends alittle in legends. They make grinding summon stones a real slog and is just generally harder to pick up than dokkan. I even pre-ordered this game and got the green frieza and honestly legends is just a game I log into to check on the story and see if they sent me any free stones to summon with. When I did spend money it was definitely not worth it and I didn't make anymore purchases.
After the anniversary this year, I took the longest break from the game since its release. I had great luck during the anni pulling all the units with multiple dupes but I despised the way everyone was using UI Goku in PvP. I know it was probably a skill issue on my part but the passive gameplay drove me bonkers. Ultimately, I was frustrated so I put the game down completely for a couple of months. At the end of the day, at its core, Legends is a faithful Dragon Ball game. You can put Gogeta Against Vegito, Beerus vs Jiren, and etc. It has a bunch of events you can play. I've been playing the game like it's smash for too long, so I may simply take a break, come back and play more casually. Can't be too greedy to ask for some wins in pvp every now and then though. As a day 1 player I've seen the rise and fall of legends. But as you said yes I played it for the sole purpose of it being dragon ball and the fact that I can somewhat have power of what my character can do. But over time I felt like they really leaned legends more of a pay to win game. Yes they need to make money off the game by introducing characters that are exclusive and rare but it puts free to play players in a tough spot because there's not really easy routes into farming CC. Yes there are the story missions, Character upgrades, and grinding to collect medals to earn some CC. But still you only are able to obtain a small portion and if you seen content creators that summon for new characters they have to spend over 10k CC just to be able to have a copy or 2 of the new units because of how rng based this game is. But that's just my personal opinion I love the gameplay and general aspect of the game but there's are a lot of factors that make this game not really worth playing

Some valid points. I'm not a hardcore player but I am a big fan of db legends. I do have fun playing it. I enjoy pvp, I enjoy collecting units, I enjoy equipment farming. It's all pretty fun imo. I really enjoy pvp matches where I'm out skilled because that means theres still room to grow. I've only spent maybe 50 dollars in three years on legends. Not because I'm hardcore f2p but because of my monetary situation. And because of that I think legends is a good game. It does its job.
I enjoy it but i also feel i dont take it as hardcore as most, i spend about $30-$50 on it a month maybe if its something hype, but i feel like id never quit i just take periodic breaks from it like pretty much from the end of the 4th anniversary too beast gohans release
I quit Legend since LF SSJ Trunks. The first 2 weeks it’s tough to not play the game but after that I feel so much better. I hate playing the PVE content, the only thing I like is the PVP but since the PVE is much more difficult now I don’t really feel like playing it now
I unninstalled this game a few times but the gameplay and the PvP (even sometimes being laggy af) is what brings me to play LEgends and of course the fact fot the love of Dragonball
I don't think legends is a competitive game but RNG elements don't make a game uncompetitive and having an array of options to choose from and "guessing" your opponent reaction is a defining part of competitive fighting games
@@MrGalpartuk reading your opponent is more or less decided by combos you can predict. Guessing for like a rising rush is more or less random as what card you pick doesn’t actually matter at all as an example
@geiseric222 I didn't talk about rising rush. Im talking about the part Goresh talks about how having multiple options after a vanish for example makes the game more RNG based, which is false.
Im completetly disapointed about the devs forcing us to have the new units to play the FREE events to gain CC. If u dont want the new characters because any reason (ur saving CC or u just dont like the new character) ur CC grinding in the upcoming events is going to be affected at the point that u will have to play x4 the time u actually have to play the events with the new units.
Honestly if the studio made enough money they should make a sequel to this game. The sequel can be made with more of a budget and making a decent collector fighting game. What’re your thoughts on that?
For me I just want more F2P units like legends road, also a revamp for all of shallot forms, for summon units, I just want new mechanics that are enhanced from F2P units.
I think due to how pvp-centric this game is, people tend to really hone in on how bad that one area is, and end up bashing the rest of the game for it. And you can’t really blame them for it cause looking at pvp and how units are treated, literally everything in the game will end up feeling like: get chrono crystals -> summon for new unit -> use new unit in pvp, and repeat itself for as long as the game lives. And the worst part is if you don’t complete or repeat this cycle, you shouldn’t invest time into the game. It sucks.
for me, the problem with legends is power creep. units that are barely a year old are essentially fodder, and the new unit is always at least a stone’s throw better than the previous. now i’m not saying that power creep as a whole is bad, just the rate at which legends does it. dokkan is a decent example of good power creep, where units released at around the same time can be compared and the new unit can even be slightly worse. just my thoughts, but legends needs to slow down the power creep

I play this game purely for the collector’s aspect more so then the PVP and other content. I play every peace of content until I run out and then I do something else. I have a very simple outlook on this game. And life in general, I suppose.

I played the game since release. Finished every bit of content on the game as soon as it came out. Was constantly saving CC since i was a f2p meta slave and needed the top 10k CC from pvp. When zenkais first released on banners at the start for 7k i'd purposely skip units which could have an impact on the meta so i could own these units which had the potential to tank rushes without endurance and 1v3 teams from the start. All the new game modes they released were just repeptitive such as the 100 stages of the same character you had to fight or just not entertaining such as the t.o.p gamemode which you had to play to stay in Z rank. I was rewarded for all this since i managed to get new LFs, Ultras etc at around 7*s since i was able to save 30k+ cc for must summons. Pvp was fun but i was really burnt out of the game since i was constantly improving my box by z7 everysingle unit, getting every single plat equip /good equip to Z rank. Ended up taking a break after playing androids and Mui goku leader slot team for a while to get to top 1k and haven't played it since. 5000+ hours on the game and my attachment to improving my account is gone.
Fr. They didn't really add much to the game after ultras and recycled the ultras animations. They just killed the hype and added annoying grinds.
You can have a lot of fun on legends in your first year of playing honestly, but after that it gets so dry, you have a great box, squeezed 90% of content out for crystals. It slowly becomes more of a chore to play

I’m a purely f2p player. As you said in the video, it is really important for anyone to have a healthy relationship with any game and it shouldn’t affect your peace. I remember back when GREEN Bardock came out, I got shafted soo hard and frustrated that I quit the game but eventually missing the game a bit plus watching hype stuff getting on legends I decided to rejoin it when OG PURPLE SSJ4 Goku and Vegeta had dropped back in December of 2019(I think that was when the dropped). But ever since then, I made a rule for myself that after grinding crystals I won’t spend every single one of them on any banner completely period. If I get the character well and good and even if I don’t still it’s fine.
Except for events and celebrations disasters we had in this year, I still find myself enjoying the game. I love collecting new characters and i play PVP not as frequently as everyone in the community but I do enjoy it whenever i play(except when the lag is waaayyy too much lmao).
Anyways, I hope to anyone who reads this comment to have a healthy relationship with the game and just treat it as a normal game and nothing too close that it starts affecting your routine or your life!

For me personally, my issue with the game are separate factors which link into other and intertwine altogether. I enjoy the gameplay A LOT, sitting on PvP for at least an hour whenever I log into the game. That competitive side of the game is very appealing to me, however, the way some units or teams absolutely dominate is very disheartening, especially for someone like me who has tried to pull all the featured units in these past and current banner to no avail since the unveiling of USV (I have not pulled him, no), and like I mentioned in a previous video, I have done 5 rotations on each banner minimum - currently on my 8th and 6th rotation in the GT and Future banner respectively, and literally the only featured unit I've pulled since all the aforementioned banners has been only Android 17, pulling him two times, which leads to the issue of the devs just throwing in every sparking, new and old, in these banners for bulk, which is extremely frustrating. Though I am not saying I do not have usable units for PvP, it is such a struggle when facing these recent units because a *SINGLE* mistake, and you lose the match. I usually finish in the top 5k (I could end higher but I just can't be bothered to grind that hard and I prioritise getting the new units to add to the collection rather than the most effective units for PvP), but recently its been such an uphill battle in every single match I've just kind of given up on the game. This contradiction is very infuriating because all in all, I love this game, but the side of this game I enjoy the most is the bane of my life🤣🤣🤣
The only thing keeping me playing the game right now is my endless journey to obtain the TAG PUR Goku/Vegeta. When I get them my motivation to actually play the game will be revitalized. The LR Gods in Dokkan are my favorite unit in gacha game history and I need them in legends too.

A week ago i quit both Dokkan (was playing for 7 years) and Legends (was playing for 4 years). For dokkan it went downhill after 5th anniv. Boring content, or no content at all. As for Legends, everything went downhill after 3th anniv. Boring content, and it's p2w. Was fun while it lasted. I'm glad i was playing in the golden era of both games.
4rd anniversary is still going strong.
I recently took a step back from legends spending wise. I haven't been happy with how the game has been since end of 2nd year. Its been feeling a bit more predatory as of late but at the same time a bit more generous as well. As well as content not being frequently implemented either. Story mode use to get chapters all the time, it felt like we were getting new events frequently, banners had more than 1 or 2 new characters, etc. The game feels stale but I find myself enjoying it when I took a step back and stopped spending money on it.

I am a college student with a low spec laptop living in a dorm room without a monitor or gaming pc or playstation (video games were a decent chunk of my childhood) so i was very bored at home with nothing to do after i finished with any project or studying i had. I am gonna guess you play games or watch anime or something as most dragon ball players do so you have options, and a lot of them. Back when i had a Ps3 and a gaming laptop i had the same thought process that mobile games are garbage money grabbers( which i still believe) but without options and db legends being the only game i play when i am bored, when i get shafted i do get thoughts about spending money. I understand that it is a waste but at the end of the day all video games are a waste of money but as long as you have fun it does not matter. We are not machines we do not think the same for some people this is their favourite game.

I'd love to see a deeper analysis of this game versus Dokkan. Legends just feels like sitting in menus for hours and hours to me with the occasional pointless grind fights. But it has actual fighting gameplay. Meanwhile, Dokkan is bubble popping and watching cutscenes over and over again, but does everything else beautifully.
Honestly ever since beast Gohan came out my enjoyment of the game has been on a steady decline and has hit that point where I think it's time to take a step back. I've played every day since day 1 and have been going back and forth on quitting the game or pushing through. I love the content you release of the game so I think it is time for a step back and I'll keep up with your videos on what is going on and maybe someday will come back into the game. Time for a break though that is for sure!

I've been a day 1 player of dbl, but the decisions game takes is always demoralising. I haven't been able to stick to the game for more than a few months at a time, and always come back just because how cool the characters look and interact. I'm out of the game again as of last month (came back after 4th Anni just for beasthan).
But your videos are actually enjoyable to watch, even you being tired of the game in many videos feels relatable lmao.
Personally I don't believe the game is worth it to play for me, considering the time investment it requires vs the output in terms of enjoyment i get, I've hit god rank once, felt accomplished, but very often i usually put down this game feeling annoyed/disappointed.

I’ll be honest, I love dragon ball legends as a mobile dbz game. And even tho I don’t play it as much as I used to I still enjoy it every once in a while, but the lack of events it’s what keeps this game down in my opinion.
It's crazy how low some people's standards are. This Legends Fest is by no means terrible (it has some redeemable qualities such as the Hoi Poi) but to say it's better than last year's Legends Festival is straight up mad.

For 95% of the population... Yea legends is probly great tbh. Especially if you play infrequently, they actually release a decent amount of content on a week by week basis that feels manageable and completable, lessening on the feeling on missing out a ton. And anything below rank 50 in pvp is pretty diverse and fun. That being said for the other 5% you'll see cracks form in this game waaaaaay into the late game. And when they form you won't be able to ignore them. But if you end up accepting the game for it's faults and end up playing a little less again, the game becomes pretty fun again. It's like breaking your favorite toy and still playing with it, or playing a vanilla pokemon game in your 20s.

I've been playing for 2,5 years now and I still enjoy it even at it's lowest points. All I keep in my mind is to take it easy and have a good time, taking it too seriously will only burn you out.
That first few hours after you download legends is some of the most fun I’ve ever had with a mobile game. Legends fest last year was probably the closest I’ve had it feel like it did back at launch
You know, in listening to this video I've come to the realization that legends could just make a separate pvp ladder that's a base game with no rr. They've shown us we can have multiple pvp modes with different stipulations in place, so why not just give ppl the option to play with or without rr or even still do both to get maximum rewards from the game? In doing this I think it would definitely boost player morale and show they have finally acknowledged what players want in a big way.
I feel this was very genuine and even expressing to take a break at the risk of losing your own viewership is a sign of caring.

I played DB Legends from Day 1 until the 2nd anniversary, but these days I‘d still coming back here and then to see what‘s new but most of the time I don‘t feel like „really“ coming back. I consider myself a season player now I guess

I think for anyone as a new player this game isn’t worth playing if I’m being honest but personally I’ve played over 4 years and I’ve built myself a really good account. The thing that annoys me the most is the PVP mechanics like Perfect Vanishes which are just awful when players fish for them constantly and my Rising Rushes constantly getting guessed is another thing that I hate

This video really opened my eyes as I'm 4 years into the game. I've been too competetive for too long. Rarely taking things lightly. So when the thought of stepping down came up, it never crossed my mind before.
I love this game for its gorgeous animation, summoning, and characters. My best experience with Legends was playing pvp with my goku-only team all the time.

Feels like a free to play player can't have anywhere near the level of fun as someone who spends alittle in legends. They make grinding summon stones a real slog and is just generally harder to pick up than dokkan. I even pre-ordered this game and got the green frieza and honestly legends is just a game I log into to check on the story and see if they sent me any free stones to summon with. When I did spend money it was definitely not worth it and I didn't make anymore purchases.
After the anniversary this year, I took the longest break from the game since its release. I had great luck during the anni pulling all the units with multiple dupes but I despised the way everyone was using UI Goku in PvP. I know it was probably a skill issue on my part but the passive gameplay drove me bonkers. Ultimately, I was frustrated so I put the game down completely for a couple of months.

At the end of the day, at its core, Legends is a faithful Dragon Ball game. You can put Gogeta Against Vegito, Beerus vs Jiren, and etc. It has a bunch of events you can play. I've been playing the game like it's smash for too long, so I may simply take a break, come back and play more casually.

As a day 1 player I've seen the rise and fall of legends. But as you said yes I played it for the sole purpose of it being dragon ball and the fact that I can somewhat have power of what my character can do. But over time I felt like they really leaned legends more of a pay to win game. Yes they need to make money off the game by introducing characters that are exclusive and rare but it puts free to play players in a tough spot because there's not really easy routes into farming CC. Yes there are the story missions, Character upgrades, and grinding to collect medals to earn some CC. But still you only are able to obtain a small portion and if you seen content creators that summon for new characters they have to spend over 10k CC just to be able to have a copy or 2 of the new units because of how rng based this game is. But that's just my personal opinion I love the gameplay and general aspect of the game but there's are a lot of factors that make this game not really worth playing
My problem with the game, before i quit, was that devs just kept reducing the free CC over and over, but they kept making new powerful units like every other month at best, and i was so annoyed that i just quit

Some valid points. I'm not a hardcore player but I am a big fan of db legends. I do have fun playing it. I enjoy pvp, I enjoy collecting units, I enjoy equipment farming. It's all pretty fun imo. I really enjoy pvp matches where I'm out skilled because that means theres still room to grow. I've only spent maybe 50 dollars in three years on legends. Not because I'm hardcore f2p but because of my monetary situation. And because of that I think legends is a good game. It does its job.

The first 2 weeks it’s tough to not play the game but after that I feel so much better.
I hate playing the PVE content, the only thing I like is the PVP but since the PVE is much more difficult now I don’t really feel like playing it now
I unninstalled this game a few times but the gameplay and the PvP (even sometimes being laggy af) is what brings me to play LEgends and of course the fact fot the love of Dragonball
I don't think legends is a competitive game but RNG elements don't make a game uncompetitive and having an array of options to choose from and "guessing" your opponent reaction is a defining part of competitive fighting games
I mean guessing in a real fighting game versus guessing in legends are not what I would call the same type of thing. Even if technically they are

@@MrGalpartuk reading your opponent is more or less decided by combos you can predict. Guessing for like a rising rush is more or less random as what card you pick doesn’t actually matter at all as an example

Im completetly disapointed about the devs forcing us to have the new units to play the FREE events to gain CC. If u dont want the new characters because any reason (ur saving CC or u just dont like the new character) ur CC grinding in the upcoming events is going to be affected at the point that u will have to play x4 the time u actually have to play the events with the new units.

This is a great game for me even though it may be stale sometimes because of the dry events but it's still a good game. The pros outweigh the cons
I think due to how pvp-centric this game is, people tend to really hone in on how bad that one area is, and end up bashing the rest of the game for it. And you can’t really blame them for it cause looking at pvp and how units are treated, literally everything in the game will end up feeling like: get chrono crystals -> summon for new unit -> use new unit in pvp, and repeat itself for as long as the game lives. And the worst part is if you don’t complete or repeat this cycle, you shouldn’t invest time into the game. It sucks.
Tbf the pve sucks too, and when 2/2 of your game sucks quite a bit, your game may suck quite a bit
I cant lie I’ve dropped the game for a while and only play when a character i like comes. Last time that happened was with Gohan Beast
for me, the problem with legends is power creep. units that are barely a year old are essentially fodder, and the new unit is always at least a stone’s throw better than the previous. now i’m not saying that power creep as a whole is bad, just the rate at which legends does it. dokkan is a decent example of good power creep, where units released at around the same time can be compared and the new unit can even be slightly worse. just my thoughts, but legends needs to slow down the power creep
