He started as “ the EDEN project” this song was “the eden project “ then in about 2015-2016 when he got signed he said the “project had been finished and he became EDEN . The EDEN project was mainly all EDM music and then some covers like Michael jackson “bille jean” and beyonce “crazy in love “ you should react to pre-EDEN music and then get into EDEN music now it’s a great transition i love him
He quit university to pursue music full time, and to me it seems like this is about his family/support system being a bit worried about his direction, but him proving himself. at the end he changes the lyric to, "who said you're one in a million, you're so much better than that." which is beautiful (: Love these EDEN reactions, you are so pure!
Yeah this was young EDEN. His instrumentals are kinda electronic music type of vibe because he used to do some EDM. The thing that stands out for me is his hability to create such spacey and emotional sounds, and you can even tell this in his voice. I recommend you 100 per cent to check some more songs from him you wont regret it. I would recomment Dugs, start//end, crash,etc. Those are the most popular (more or less). Tho I love all he's put out so far.
i think this song is about jonathon (EDEN) moving to america and leaving behind his girlfriend and his home to pursue his dreams as a musician. i also believe that it's about the opposite; being caught up in your dreams and not realising that what you have now is "so much better than one in a million" and having to "Wake Up" from a dream that isn't achievable. one of the things i love about EDEN is how you can gather your own meaning from his lyrics, so none of this is set in stone but that's my take on the song. btw he's currently working on an album that's coming out in february. so far the songs officially released off of the album are: untitled, projector and love, death, distraction so you might want to listen to those :)
