Art of guitar tried for privacy, but the UA-cam algorithm doesn’t give a damn. Dropped this recommendation right into my feed. Even still, gotta say this was solid work fellas. Despite some fair criticism from art of guitar y’all did sound really good overall

Look at the positive side. This video is gonna get way more views now. This is an opportunity. They should consider working with the art of guitar to improve and document the journey. I'm sure it would get a shit ton of views. Nice video.

The lead singer sucks. Everybody else does just fine. The lead guitar player kicks ass.!!

IMO, I give him a pass. It's not easy to nail a vocal the first time around, even in a vocal booth with headphones on, let alone in a live unrehearsed situation with one or more fill in players. I'm going to listen to some of his other work to get a better idea of his singing that will hopefully redeem this less than stellar vocal performance.

@@mikelong6695 I don't think I was too harsh at all. Of course everyone is different. I myself have a high standard for musicianship because I myself am a musician. The vocals were cringe at best. Not good. Unappealing for the ears to hear. I could say it a million ways. He could improve. I hope he does. He's not the worst I've heard but he's not far from it.

@issaikrozell2409, after listening to more videos of his singing, he does have much room for improvement. I certainly didn't mean to be one of those people who gave a kid a trophy for failing just to spare their feelings. There is value in both our opinions. I think yours was on the harsh side, but sometimes harsh is what a person might need to light that fire and make some improvements. Performers do put themselves out there, and they will be judged. At least you're not one of those incognito commenters.

Overall not terrible but man, lets be real...this was not a great vocal performance. Sounds like you can probably sing and maybe just had a bad night?
