I’m 6 months pregnant with my first baby. This is the 3rd video of yours I watch. New subbie! Thank you for the information! Soo so helpful! Thanks to you we are gettint the Doona stroller and the Halo basinest, amongst other things 🥰 congratulations on your new baby girl! 🎀👶🏻
Thanks for all your tips! I’m pregnant with my 3rd, but my first two are 13 and 8, so I almost feel like a first time mom again, and SO much has changed as far as products since then. I have NOTHING anymore, so I’m up for any helpful advice!
I love all your videos and as an expecting new mom I find them very informative! Would you mind making a video about new born clothes essentials? I’m really overwhelmed by all the options and not sure what to buy for my February baby or how many layers I should dress the baby indoors and outdoors to avoid overheating or to make sure the baby is not cold
My newborn essentials were Bonds Zippys, love to dream swaddles and Big Softies terry towelling nappies as burp clothes! Then added in terry towelling bibs that have a padded section around the neck
I just bought a couple copper bloom swaddle blankets (one is the same print you have I'm obsessed with bloom). I love their newborn sleep sacks and bibs too.
Yay, fun! 😁 They also have all the doona and ergo embrace colors on babylist, but I think pottery barn kids has a higher completion discount. I've been going between the Doona and the Nuna Pipa light lx... our garage/horse barn is detached and there are stairs up to the kitchen door, so I think I just need to do the Nuna because being so lightweight will really help with the stairs situation. I had a friend gift me an Evenflo infant seat the first time and it did not wear well. It started not clipping in correctly... she was big enough by then I just got out the convertible we also got for our shower. Anyway also leaning toward the Nuna because of the seat material not being synthetic. It gets so hot here in the summer. :/ I put burp cloths, bibs, a couple pacis, a couple copper pearl and love 2 dream swaddles on this second registry because everyone says second babies can be so opposite and I gave away all the stuff I had the first time because our old house was tiny and we used none of it. So I'm like it will just be my luck if this little rainbow is a spitter who loves being swaddled!😄
@@shawndrahoffer6213 that ones tough. i know buybuybaby has the coral, but they don't have nuna or doona. I saw the doona in person at a baby boutique and actually decided not to get it after all, at the same one I saw the Nuna Lite... i LOVED that one. the dream shade was perfect and was really was light. I ended up getting the Peg-Perego Lounge
@@jen__dorsey So I ended up getting the Nuna once I saw a family out and about with a Doona and saw how short it was... and seeing the Corals low max weight. Really happy with the Nuna, it's great quality and the light weight is awesome. I had another almost 10lb baby soo yeah.😄
if you really want the Doona to be pink you can buy the canopy separately - My sister has two sons and a daughter and I was able to switch the black hood to pink for her. I'm based in the UK and it cost around £30. this video was one of the best I've watched - thank you! so sad Ryan and rose aren't in the UK yet, don't think my husband will be up for paying for the clips to be shipped LOL
Thanks for sharing! My first little one is due in 10 days, so I've been enjoying seeing what other babies like so I can have lots of ideas to try ready in mind!
My baby should be here in 3 weeks or so and I love watching these and buying what I think I’m gonna need. ❤️❤️❤️ been following you since the beginning of my pregnancy!!
I love these videos!! Bella is 11 months and just started crawling!! My.must have is johnson sleep soap for bathtime!! And my blow up tub for the bath is so much better then the plastic ones!!!
Loved this Maddy! We are expecting baby number two next month. My newborn must haves for my son were the, “ Love to Dream” Swaddles, Auto Rock N Play “ which was recalled” 😕, Boppy nursing Pillow, Ergo baby wrap, all nursing and pumping supplies, Skip Hop portable soother and pacifiers. My little guy liked the Avent pacifiers too. This time for baby girl I got the new Fisher Price 2 n 1 Glider Swing, I’m trying the Boppy Lounger, some pink Love to Dream swaddles , I want to try the new Medela all silicone pacifiers and everything else is the same lol. I did get the new Medela pump too. It’s funny how our gear and must haves change with each baby. I will be interested to see what she likes.
At 4 months my son would just throw his pacifier lol so I didn’t struggle with him on those lol expecting my baby’s girl August 2021 so we’ll see how that goes.
@@ricebrit7 omg girl thank you!!! Now I have to go look for it🤣 I keep seeing that type of necklace everywhere now it’s driving me nuts it’s calling my name
Hey can you make a video on the doona? Do you also have another stroller besides this one? I have read online that an infant can’t sit in a car seat for long period of times. Please let us know
Question about the Doona, if you have a toddler and a newborn do you just let the toddler walk and only use the Doona? Or would you recommend a double stroller? If so, what do you recommend for double strollers? Thanks!
Mommy hot take: I don't like zipper jammies. They tent and don't lie flat on the body and the top pushes into their neck when in the car seat, at least with my little guy they do. I like the buttons 😊
very true with the car seat! I just pull it down and it fixes it. Ill take that over dealing with snaps lol snaps take me too long to do when having to juggle a three ring circus in my house lol. My first i had no problem with snaps they were great lol but when it comes to your second there is no time for that haha
Lol yes that all changed with a second 🤣! With ry I would always dress her in cute outfits. With Kinsley I start the day with one thinking it would be fine but then I end up changing her to a footie because I’m like nope don’t have time for this 🤣🤣🤣 it’s so crazy how it changes for each baby.
Anyone looking at the carseat/stroller she recommended, just know if you are tall you will not like it! I am 5'8" and my husband is 6'4" and it was way too short for comfortably being able to push it.
what breast pump did you use? also if you had any blockages what would you do? i had my first baby may 23 of 2021 and i can’t seem to get my supply up nor can i get anything out of one side.
I love the munchkin fast warmer. I used it all with ry so much it finally just broke the other day lol works great to warm breastmilk too. Little tip for formula, use room temp water and you don’t have to warm it up💕
i love it for a quick stroller like taking my daughter to and from school and just running a quick errand or dr app. It saves me! I havent really gone out and about for long outings but if i do i would just use my vista so i can have a seat for both girls.
@@THEMILLERS I know ! It seems so convenient. I would have to buy another I guess for longer trips. Is the vista able to be used w o a car seat carrier?
Ya you will need another stroller anyways because the infant car seat in the Doona doesn’t last forever. I love the vista. Yes you can use it without the car seat. They have an infant insert you can use in the seat. I use it for Kinsley
not at all, the doona is SUPER short.i also find that it is unpractical. the doona doesn’t grow with your baby, and you also have to pick up the whole stroller off the ground, and put it in your car. imagine doing that with a 20 pound kid😅😬 you’d hurt your back!! please invest in something more practical, much love
That Doona is a dream! If I could afford that I totally would buy that, it seems like such a life saver!

I absolutely love watching your videos. I literally have my registry open from buy buy baby when I watch and I’m always adding new things.
Great tips !! Just wanted to mention here that Doona car seat stroller is sadly banned in Canada due to its safety scores :/
Can You Do A Must Haves For A Toddler Please
yes!

Infacol is a must have to help with colic a few drops and the wind is up and baby feels better it's stood me well for 6 babies

I love watching your videos Madison! You are such an amazing mom to kins and Ry Ry! ❤️
Watch, i’m gonna keep all of my daughter’s stuff for the next baby only to find out the next baby’s gonna hate everything 😂😂😂
Im in that situation right now lol 😂

Glad I picked the Ergobaby Embrace! Love that it crosses in the back and has wide shoulder straps. Won’t be using it for another 3 months though. 💓
I wonder if anyone would have the doona car seat stroller for sale. I cannot afford a new one. It really looks super cool
The Doona looks so cool- I wish it was approved in Canada!
I am hoping for this too. It would have been awesome for commuting.
Do we know why it isn't approved in Canada? Just wondering if it's something silly or if we just have stricter guidelines.
@@jordanshaw5500 i am not sure as well. Maybe we just have stricter rules for car seats 🤷♀️
